    Moss Restoration is the company to go to for restoring old wooden doors, windows here in the city. My husband and I decided as a Christmas gift to each other to restore our old beat up South City door!It was explained carefully to us after we received the bid to restore, it would take one week. They carefully took our old door off with the hinges, took it to their shop, measured & came back with a square piece of plywood that measured our door exactly.Within a few days when the door was completely sanded and cleaned, we were able to pick out our stain and picked out new hardware for our door. These people work as a team and take pride and love ❀️ what they do. Sure enough our door came back in a week, and we were overwhelmed, a true work of art. Everyone that walks by has complimented the beauty of our front door.Thank you Moss Restoration team, you are the best! It made our Christmas extra special!

    Kelsey and her team are amazing! I’m a preservationist at heart and found Kelsey when searching for someone to restore my stained glass windows. She was incredibly responsive and provided a quote for several windows needing repair. We worked together to prioritize repairs and get on the schedule. Two of my worst windows were recently restored and reinstalled. They looking amazing!I have several more windows slated for repair and plan to utilize Moss Restoration. She is also working with me to quote storm windows to preserve the windows long term. I highly recommend!

    Moss Restoration did a fantastic job on a much needed lock repair on an historic door with old (if not original) hardware. The entire handle, latch, and lock system had come off the door one day when I was closing it, damaging the wood. They came and fixed it when they said they would be there, finished the job quickly, and it looks great again. I will be using them in the future for moulding and window work on my 110-year-old house. I highly recommend them.

    The front door of our Tower Grove Heights home has been an eyesore since we purchased in 1989. Because the previous owners jerry-rigged a storm door, painted all the original wood, and butchered some of the trim, we werent certain whether a restoration would even be possible. Found Moss Restoration, got on their waiting list about 6 months ago, and Kelsey (Owner) and Willy worked diligently for about four weeks to complete an outstanding restoration.These folks are true craftspeople! They are super competent, polite, neat -- couldnt be more professional. I suppose one might be able to find cheaper ways to do this sort of restoration, but not of this high quality. Many thanks! Would hire them again with no reservations.

    Moss Restoration did a fantastic and professional job restoring a really cool circular window from our 1949 home. We knew we wanted to work with them by the passion they conveyed for their work, as well as their clear expertise.     We did a lot of research on various venders before making the decision to engage the services of Moss Restoration. By way of background, we own a 30-year-old end table and a brand-new end table constructed to match. One was wood that had aged over time; the other was new β€œgreen” wood. We asked Moss to make them match and to put on a surface that looked good but also enabled us to put drink glassware on the end tables without a coaster. I was expecting a good job because of Moss Restoration’s work I’d seen on their website and other reviews I read. But the result was simply GREAT! Even better than anticipated.

    Kelsey did absolutely, lights out work on our bathroom doors and stained glass windows! She did a perfect match and even stripped and shined up the 100 year old nickel plated hinges. Hard to find people with this skillset or even people that are willing to do this kind of work these days. I caught her at a good time and the turnaround was quick, but I have a feeling that the demand is on the upswing. Good for her!

    The Moss team did an incredible job restoring our old windows - removing paint, cleaning, . They communicated timelines and provided accurate schedules. Our project was pretty large and took about a month. The team was great to have in the house and kept things extremely clean. We had an issue with a door while they were working on our house, and they found a creative and affordable solution. We will definitely use Moss Restoration. Thanks!

    Kelsey did a wonderful job on our front entry and screen door. Our screen door is also wooden and was showing much wear from the elements. She was on time and worked very quickly, just 5 days and the job was completed. We couldnt be happier with results! I highly recommend Moss Restoration for any wood working needs!!

    No matter what shape your door is in , Kelsey will make it beautiful again. She is meticulous in her work and uses good quality products. She treats your home as if it is her own and cleans up thoroughly when she finishes your project. I was very happy with Moss Restoration!

    Kelsey is absolutely wonderful to work with and is so incredibly talented! She did a beautiful job restoring my antique dresser (which used to be my Mom’s), and took the time and care to make sure that each drawer matched in color tone.     100% satisfied with the window restoration work and services provided by Moss Restoration. Our 100+ year old windows are original to the house and needed some serious TLC. Not only did Kelsey provide an accurate timeline and estimate, but she also went to great lengths to explain the reasoning for each recommendation, including multiple on-site visits, and there were no surprises. The team was hard-working, thorough, punctual, and friendly. Kelsey, the owner, was highly communicative and transparent. She was quick to respond to inquiries and very willing to share knowledge and resources for other projects I had in mind. Kelsey and her team went above and beyond to ensure the windows looked their absolute best. It was an enjoyable experience start-to-finish, and I enthusiastically recommend them.
