I started by reaching out to a number of local roofing companies. In particular to a prior company I had used before Because of good experiences.Ultimately, I found out that the sales team at H&M was absolutely phenomenal. The communication was great. They worked with me to help me understand exactly what was going to happen. They helped me with my particular budget for the customizations that my roof needed (Including new flashing, and a new vent or two, and installing a solar roof vent).That being said, Jill did an absolutely phenomenal job. She was responsive, took her time and listened to my concerns and feedback.Ultimately, my roof looks great, the leak I was having from the flashing is gone, I now have solar power For my attic vent. I’m very happy with the way this turned out.Probably the biggest issue that I experienced was that I found that there was a language barrier between the labor force, and the sales side/operational side.My wife and I were under the impression that our carport roof would match the main roof In terms of color (black). Ultimately, A white roof was placed on the carport. Additionally, We had some wood rot that we wanted to have repaired, and we communicated that initially. Unfortunately, when the job was complete the areas in which there was wood rot had not been replaced, and the labor team had to come back out to fix much of it. When the project was done, we had a ton of leftover wood that I had painted to be hung up, but it ultimately was not part of the labor quote, and therefore they didn’t touch it. (I made a cornhole set).In summary, The sales team was absolutely phenomenal and I loved working with Jill. But I do think that operation there could be some improvements. The roof looks great and the gutters are now seamless with gutter guard (no more gumballs).

H&F was overall very easy and convenient to work with! I really liked their group texting so we could communicate with their whole team. We communicated with Brenden the most and felt we could rely on him. They were always very professional and helped us feel like we could trust them with our roof after we received hail damage. They answered all our questions and got back with us in a very timely manner. The only reason Im selecting 4 stars is because one of their crews did not install gutter guards when we were told they were installed. We had also already paid for them by that time. However, when we found out we did not have the gutter guards, they quickly fixed the issue. I would still recommend them for your exterior needs!

Our roof, fascia, soffit, and gutters were all replaced in 2022. The H&F team did excellent work every step of the way and we could not be more pleased. From the initial assessment to address damage from an old satellite dish that fell over, to thoroughly explaining our choices of materials (including the info I needed to research a potential tax credit and to provide details about the upgrade to my homeowners insurance), to rescheduling promptly during a severe weather event, to attentive cleanup and follow-up after the project was complete, they covered it all. Jill was a fantastic advocate for us during this process and I would gladly recommend her and everyone involved (including Gavin, Gabe, and the entire production team/crew) to anyone trying to find a professional, reliable company to handle these repairs. Thank you, H&F, for the literal roof over our heads!

This is my first encounter with H&F Exteriors and I will never call someone else to do work for me. Jill and her team are remarkably proficient at their jobs. My working relationship with Jill proved to be the most enjoyable and rewarding partnership I have ever known. She handled 95% of the paperwork and absorbed 100% of the stress. She always kept me informed and aware of all the steps of the process. She is a credit to her profession. All in all..kudos to everyone at H&F exteriors.

Can’t say enough positive about our remodeling experience with H&F and their employee, Jill. We had new windows, board & batten siding, and a new roof (including gutters, soffit & fascia). Jill discussed our options and was able to create renderings of our home with several different options before making a final decision. It has been a year since the work was completed and we still couldn’t be happier we chose H&F for our exterior remodel.

I had the unfortunate luck of a tree snapping and falling onto my roof with the first major storm that rolled through the STL metro area back in April. Of all the contractors I reached out to, Jill from H&F showed her true colors from day one when she came out to inspect the damage. Not only did she provide a quote while she was out checking out the damage, she was the first from any of the companies I contacted that came out to my house and they werent even the first ones I contacted. Ended up spending about a month trying to wrangle other companies for quotes and should have just gone with my gut and H&F from the start. Jill was a pleasure to work with and stayed in contact the entire time which was such a breath of fresh air since other companies either never contacted me or several weeks went by with no communication. As much of an annoyance as the roof damage was, H&F helped make the process as smooth as possible. The only downside was that from the time I signed the paperwork until they were able to start the work was longer than I expected, I had been set up in a weekly group text chain that we would get an update every Wednesday, which I appreciated very much. The actual crew that worked on my roof started the day very early and worked through the entire day until dusk finishing the project which I was very impressed by. Insanely hardworking crew and very personable team at H&F. I cannot recommend them enough.

I am not joking when I say Jill literally saved me tens of thousands of dollars. She was so helpful and patient and really made me feel like she put me first. Without her I would honestly be outta luck and have to deal with a bunch of expensive repairs I wouldn’t have been able to afford. The work they did was flawless and so quick. I would highly recommend H&F Exteriors for their prompt response and great customer service. I used H&F Exteriors a year and a half ago for my roof and siding. I sent a message to them via text on their website and Peter contacted me almost immediately with a phone call. I was extremely shocked! I’ll be honest I did not expect a response until the next day due to my inquiry being later in the afternoon. Very rarely do you even get a response or a call back from ANY company these days due to “being busy” or “we are short handed Bc no one wants to work” Peter was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions prior to the roof inspection and even worked me in their busy schedule the very next day!!! He also sent a nice text after our phone conversation and even called me prior to coming out to my residence and called me with the information I needed after the roof inspection. Peter was very knowledgeable, professional and has great customer service skills! I can’t rave enough on how impressed I am. I will definitely be using H&F Exteriors!

Our home looks amazing! I am so glad what Emma and the whole gang was able to do our windows and siding for a reasonable price. Everyone who comes by remarks how beautiful the home looks now! As far as Emma Miller, she was nothing but a wonderful person who always made us feel special and ready to make sure everything was to our specifications. We highly recommend H&E Exteriors!

H&F Exteriors was by far the right choice for our new roof. Brenden came out to explain the entire process and what they would be doing. I liked the fact that H&F would be handling all communication with my insurance company. H&F fought my insurance for a few months to finally get them to cover the cost to replace the roof detached garage. H&F set up a text group with different members of their team to keep me in the loop of where they were in the process of repairs. Everything went better than we could have hoped for and the roof turned out great. Brenden was our main point of contact and was always quick to respond and would clarify any questions we had. If you are looking for a company to replace your roof, or do any other type of work, Id definitely recommend H&F Exteriors!

I cannot say enough good things about this team! We had some storm damage this spring and they were so thorough in their walk through they found damage that our insurance assessment missed. They then went above and beyond to submit to our insurance to add the repairs onto our claim. I didnt lift a FINGER! They also sent text updates weekly to keep me up to speed on scheduling and on the insurance claim. I never had to reach out to ask anything because they kept me in the loop the entire time!From the time I signed the contract to a complete repair was under 3 weeks which is lightening fast. Plus they have a quality control team that came out after to check for any dropped items / debris to ensure my pets were safe.19/10 would recommend and I plan on using them again for some planned upgrades later myself!!
