So originally I was really frustrated with this company. The tech they sent out was really nice and professional, but he essentially flipped a breaker to fix my small problem and didnt fix my cat6 wiring issue which was my big problem, but then charged me $384 for the visit. Long story short, I was pretty upset about the value Is received. As a small business owner myself, I decided to call and see how they would respond if I asked them to be fair on the charge. I called and was listened to and felt like they heard me, agreed that the value was out of whack and he tried to refund the whole thing, which I didnt feel was fair, but essentially was impressed that he cared as much as he did. Im going from a 1 star review to 5 because I felt like they handled everything fairly and honestly, which is my most important criteria for working with another company.

Hedge Hog Electric was an excellent company to do business with today. They gave me a flexible schedule to choose from and a window of time they would arrive. The electrician arrived within that time window and they called about 30 minutes before he arrived, with an option to track his location.He assessed the situation and gave me an estimate for the amount. Before I agreed to any work, he asked for my signature to confirm work being completed and within half an hour the issue was resolved and things were working perfectly. This was a superb experience.

After submitting an inquiry on their website about installing Cat6 wiring and adding cameras to my existing surveillance system, I received a prompt response via text, and they quickly scheduled an estimate.During the estimate, their technician, Bo Bundy, impressed me with his professionalism and problem-solving skills. He took the time to evaluate the job thoroughly, brainstorm solutions, and provide an immediate quote based on my specific needs. The communication was fantastic, with multiple appointment reminders, and they even accommodated my last-minute reschedule without any hassle.The installation was top-notch. Bo and Jonathan handled the Cat6 wiring and camera installation with care and precision. They worked quickly but took pride in ensuring everything was done correctly. Tristan showed up on time and gave me an estimate to install an EV 220 outlet to my garage. I asked how soon he could do the job, and he said right away, if I gave him approvals. He started the job right away and finished up within the hour. I thought he was very professional, quality minded, clean, very minimal dust / debris, and well priced for the work. I would 100% recommend Tristan and Hedgehog Electric for any electrical projects.

Hedgehog installed the solar when we built our home 4 years ago. Given the world-class experience we had with that, we knew who we would be calling when the time came that we needed an electrician. That time came today and we were not disappointed. Jaydon did a fantastic job, diagnosing and fixing an issue that we were having with our car charger. Discovering that there had been some damage to the wiring during the build process, creating a potentially dangerous situation had the breaker not been doing its job. Consummately professional, Jaydon replaced the entire circuit and left everything looking better than when he arrived. Really can’t say enough good things about Jaydon and our experience with Hedgehog.

9 AM scheduled an appointment with Hedgehog Electric for bid to replace four smoke detectors. 11:00 AM Bo came by and gave me a fair bid for the installation. I asked Bo when I could get job done. He said he could it immediately as he had everything needed on his truck. 12:30 PM job finished. Next surprise was Hedgehog waived service call charge because I accepted the bid. Bo tested the smoke alarms outside because he noticed my dog was freaking out when the first detector was tested inside. Definitely a five star experience.

Today we had two Hedgehog technicians, Corey and Dustin, come to our home to install a Ring doorbell system, new electrical wiring and outlets, install a whole house surge protector, complete our annual safety inspection, and mount one TV to the wall in my den. These technicians arrived on the time promised. They were very cordial, professional and informative. They wore booties over their shoes when they came into our home. They got right to work and completed the project in less than two hours. As a result of their safety inspection, they recommended some additional items that we should consider upgrading. These men kept me advised of the progress of the project while they were working. When they finished the installations, they made sure everything was cleaned up. They were professional, informative, very skilled, and quick. I appreciate their excellent customer service. I highly recommend Hedgehog Electric Services. I feel that the final statement price was worth every penny for the outstanding work that was performed in our home. I will use this great company again.

Hedgehog is a homeowners dream electrical contractor! We have been using them for the past year after we had all our outlets and switches replaced when repainting the interior of our home. Was it cheap? No. Was it done correctly, efficiently, and did it come with a warranty? Absolutely, yes!!! The house is 15+ yrs old and was due for a wellness check and update. Excellent customer service is the norm; the technicians show up on time, are knowledgeable, skilled, thorough, and friendly. Want more details? Continue reading....Since the outlet/ switch replacement, we have had a roof leak that affected the light switch. After I noticed the light switch would get hot, I called to schedule a technician. Tristan was there the next day and installed some GFI breakers on the affected switches to ensure that we were safe from a fire. That meant our living room lamps, TV, and sound system wouldnt work Brevard they were in the same breaker. So, he helped us run extension cords (and offered to loan us some of his) so we could have some lighting and watch TV until the roof could be repaire d and things could dry out. We had company that weekend so it was extra important to have a functional gathering space.I highly recommend the annual membership. With that, we dont pay for service calls, and we just had a free annual safety inspection. The technician, Brenr, double-checked the outdoor light switch to ensure it was still good and moved a dimmer switch that was causing a conflict with some smart lights, at no extra cost. Then he got us a great deal on a whole-home surge protector and installed it in about 10 minutes. As electronic devices are increasingly integrated in our home life and they are more complex and sometimes costly, I feel so much better knowing that, if we have a power surge, we wont have to buy a new smart fridge or television... or make costly repairs to the motorhome that is plugged into the house electric grid. And I will still be able to make my shopping and to-do lists on Alexa. (Alexa, make a reminder to ask Hedgehog about upgrading the under cabinet lighting.)Every homeowner should maintain a list (and relationship*) of professionals (e.g., plumber, electrician, HVAC, etc. ) who are reliable, responsive, and good at what they do. Because when something critical fails, Im not calling a neighbors brother-in-law who is good at fixing stuff. If its not done right by a professional, you could be in for a fight with your home insurance company. Get Hedgehog!!! Get the membership!*We learned this two years ago when we had to replace our HVAC unit. The company we had a membership with service the unit found us a new, quiet, very efficient unit. They had it installed in less than a week, in August, and mid pandemic supply chain shortage issues.

Just as we were getting our Christmas lights ready, we had circuits out with no relation to each other. I called HedgeHog Electric to help us out. Even as busy as they were, they found a time to work us in. When Jadon arrived, he and I spent at least an hour going over everything that should have been obvious, with no success. He then had to spend much more time tracing every line looking for the problem. After finally finding it, he had to run a completely new line to finish fixing the problem. While visiting my parents in Dammeron Valley I noticed a very old baseboard heater that looked like a fire hazard waiting to happen. When I got home to San Diego I called Hedgehog and they were happy to work with me over the phone to help my parents. Cory the electrician was very thorough; did a complete inspection on their home, which gave me peace of mind. He fixed the heater and a few other issues. We have had issues with smoke alarms since moving into this home 2 years ago. Moreno & Tristan found an exposed wire at the junction between 2 of the smoke detectors. Hedgehog responded quickly for an appointment. They sent Jadon that did a great job replacing a bad GFI and moving an electrical socket to anew place 6 feet away. Within a week the new GFI quit working. Jadon was able to come over within an hour of our call. A new GFI was put in again and now works great. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding about billing but everything was worked out and customer service very good. Their easiness to work with in the end is reflected in my review. They are a little pricier than other electricians we’ve worked with but if they stress importance on customer service and guarantee their work I feel it’s worth it.

We had been without power to a portion of our home for about a week. They came out, inspected our home, diagnosed the problem and gave us 2 different options to choose from in regards to fixing the issue. The day before they were scheduled to come out, the little power we had left completely went out. They were out bright an early the next day to fix the issue until we all realized it was deeper than what was seen during the initial inspection due to the rain and snow we had been getting. The solution we chose was completed in the amount of time they said it would be, however upon completion of that solution a bigger problem was discovered due to ground wires being installed unprotected under our home when the previous homeowners built add ons to the house. The company was hoping to be able to give us power that day, however due to the bigger problem and it already approaching night time, they were kind enough to get us a hotel as we have kids and needed to stay warm. Even though their job was done for the night, they waited for us to pack our bags and waited for us to get on the road to ensure we didnt get stuck on our snowy/muddy street. If we had gotten stuck, they were ready and willing to help us out if we did get stuck. This allowed them to come out the following morning to get started on the permanent solution to the problems they had found which allowed for a permanent solution for us to have power and their solution ensuring we wouldnt encounter the same problem that took out our power in the first place. They delivered a fast, cost effective and more efficient solution and all along the way they were very respectful and friendly. You can tell their clients arent just clients to them, they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Definitely wish I could give them more than just a 5 start rating because they truly deserve it. This is honestly the first time a company has truly shown compassion for their clients and made us feel as if they really cared and this wasnt just another job for them. Currently recommending them to my mother to see if they can go do work for her at her house in another state due to how impressed she was with how they handled everything. Will definitely be recommending this company to anyone who needs electrical work done. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Rex, Dominick and Corey for everything you guys did for us. It really made a huge impact. It helped me and my family through this situation at a very low stress level.

Hedgehog has always delivered, but they are a bit on the pricey side it would seem. Today was a bit of an exception, but right away they offered and pushed the most expensive solution. If I had just gone with one of their two proposed fixes, it would have been $600 or $400. Instead, just replacing the broken lighting ballast ended up being $188, to install a $30-40 dollar item. But it looks great, they didnt make a mess, and I have high confidence that things will work out as they say, and that is worth a lot.

TRISTAN fixed a major mistake that caused our main circuit board switch to burn out. Solar company exchanged 200 with 150 to accommodate the solar panel system. It should have been a 175.Our main problem was caused by a careless technician that didnt attach the circuit breaker tight and secure. The arching caused more energy use and cooked the breaker.THANKS TRISTAN 😊

This was by far the best experience weve had with any electrical contractor here in southern Utah. Our technician, Ed, was very personable as well as extremely professional and knowledgeable.We had several issues with our electric service, not the least of which was a breaker on our spa that, when tested, did not trip. Ed fixed this problem in very short order as well as a problem with a GFI outlet in the master bathroom and a few other very minor issues. He understood without my having to tell him that my phone customers came first. Mr. Malcolm Hill with HedgeHog was extremely helpful to me, I had gone with a different solar company and as soon as they were done with the install they pretty much disappeared. I then got calls from other companies who told me that if I wanted to use my federal and state tax credits that I would have to pay them $500. This is about the time that I met Mr. Hill with HedgeHog and he told me that he would help me for free, and with his help I did get my refunds. I wish I had known about this HedgeHog before I went with this other company. If they were willing to help me when I did not purchase their system imagine what they would do for their customers. I would recommend HodgeHog and Mr. Malcolm Hill to anyone looking to get a solar system.
