Vons Electric has made several electrical improvements at my home. In every interaction and for every project my experience has been extremely positive. Very friendly, very professional, and they have a good relationship with the City of St Charles. I’m thankful for the great work Conrad did this morning adding some circuitry to my basement.

So please with this company..first I was given an estimate by an extremely professional electrician who listened to what I wanted an explained in detail how it could be done. Vons estimate was not the lowest one I received, but it was the one that gave me the most confidence that I would receive a job well done.Mario was here to do the work today. He was professional and thorough. Since it was the coldest day of the year and he was working in an unheated room and the attic he did not cut corners or rush. He executed the layout exactly as I wanted it. He left the area spotless. I highly recommend Vons Electric.

I had a great experience with Vons! I had two other companies provide me with quotes on my projects that were comparably priced, but I ultimately went with Vons after Denver came out to provide me with a quote and also suggested I change the heater I purchased for my garage to save money on my electric bill. He knew it was more powerful than I needed, so I appreciated the honesty! He was also the only one to come up with a plan that prevented me from having to replace or repair any drywall after the project, which was another reason I went with Vons.I was having a garage heater installed and needed more power run to the garage for it, which was not as cut and dry as it sounds since my panel is a little difficult to reach from there. I also had two ceiling fans installed in my bedrooms. Once I signed the quote they were able to get me an appointment about 1.5 weeks later. Mike and Rylan came out and got the job done quicker than I expected, and both did a great job! They were polite and professional and kept me in the loop for every step of the process. The work looks great, and they cleaned up nicely when everything was complete. I would absolutely use Vons again in the future!

Vons has been great to work with. They were referred to us when we needed service on our whole house generator. There are not a lot of companies that will service generators, so we were happy to hire them. They have excellent customer service, the techs show up on time, get the job done perfectly ! I can recommend Vons Electric. We needed a bad GFI replaced. They took my call right away, scheduled us quickly, informed us about estimated cost ahead of visit, and were able to come out the next day.The electrician, Jimmy, was on time, very friendly and explained everything.He also answered a few other general “electrician-questions” I had about my smoke detectors and electric car chargers, which I was curious about.All in all a very good experience.

Somehow or another a truck, going through the parking lot next-door to our house, managed to hit the overhead wire that was the main electrical feed to our house. It ripped the bracket holding the wire to the house out of the house. This was in a location that was extremely hard to reach, but the electrician from Vons managed to replace the bracket and attach the device that actually held the wire in place less than half an hour. He then took a few minutes to put epoxy putty into the holes left in the damaged siding where the bracket had been attached. He was thorough, efficient, and friendly. I have used this company many times in the past and they have always provided excellent work.

Kevin came out and in a couple of hours put up 3 ceiling fans and taking down old ones. Price was fair and he was very cool person to talk to while he got his work done. Will now be getting Vons Electric to fix any and all future projects.

Huge shout out to Vons for the exceptional customer service they provided. During the recent storms of July 14 and 15, high winds blew down a branch that pulled down our electrical service wires. Due to the force, the entire weather head was pulled from our house, leaving exposed wires and a hole in the house. Vons answered my phone call promptly and the owner was at my home within 20 minutes to check out the damage. He made me feel reassured that his crew would be able to fix this major issue. The crew was at my house at 10am to start the work. The electricians were polite, professional and courteous. They worked diligently and kept in regular communication with the City of St. Charles electrical crew to get my power re-connected. All hooked up and cooling down as we speak. Thank you so very much for the excellent work you provided.

These guys are awesome. It was a pleasure chatting with their entire crew and with the storms that ripped through our town, they have been at it nonstop too. They did a great job with redoing our entire electrical system inside and outside of our older home. We had a quote from another company HI LITE and they wanted 7k more than what these guys are charging us. Go with these guys, you will not regret it!

We have an older home which that alone brings challenges. I received a promptly returned call from Denver who is very friendly and knowledgeable. He didn’t make any of our questions sound stupid but I’m sure some were.The two men doing the work were also very good. They talked things through with us that assured us that they were doing things up to code but also to our likes.We are very happy with the job done and will definitely use them again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Vons answers their phone, sends an estimator out who is professional and on time. Vons delivers a quote in a timely fashion and the electrician is amazing! We couldnt be happier with the electric connection for our clothes dryer (the house we purchased only had a gas connection) and the two overhead lights that were installed and connected to wall switches in two rooms. The electrician (Anthony) was pleasant, courteous, clean and did a fantastic job. We will recommend Vons to anyone needing an electrician and will definitely contact them with any future electrical needs.

I am the project manager to get new city electrical service connected to our subdivision entrance island and large entrance sign. This required a contractor to work with the city to get electric service available, install and outdoor electric meter and connect to the grid, install LED lighting for our entrance sign and uplights on 4 trees on our entrance island. Vons Electric worked with me to get the city permits, city electric service and Vons bored under the road to get the main power cable to the island and set up the new meter with the city electric dept. and installed underground electric and LED lighting with automatic on-off at dusk and dawn just as we wanted. These are great people to work with. Very professional and efficient.

EDIT 12/27/2018: I e mailed Vons Electric to call me regarding my concerns and was called back promptly. We talked the situation over and they made it right. Susan was kind, caring and compassionate so I will give them another try in the future. Businesses may have some downs but how they are handled speaks volumes.We were referred to Vons for some lighting needs and decided to just replace a bulb rather then switch to complete LED. The tech seemed put off by this saying someone would call to schedule that and no one ever did... Switching to LED was just a bit more then we were expecting and our current lighting situation works it just needed a new bulb. I am not a quick one to leave negative reviews at all, but this was really unprofessional...
