So thankful for this company! Caring, professional, and knowledgeable of all things electric. They took on my nightmare abandoned solar project and got it running faster than the solar company. Handled all the paperwork required and walked me through the parts that were my responsibility not leaving out any details. I would recommend them to anyone! I can say your project will be done right the first time at a very reasonable cost.

Shawn is the consummate professional. Our place is in the boondocks to say the least, being 18 miles down a sometimes rugged dirt road. Our first solar company bailed on the job and Aspen was recommended to pick up the pieces. They showed up on time, sorted out the mess, completing the job early and under budget. He even took the time to answer questions after hours.

My new favorite hobby . . . is keeping tabs on our system’s production through the mySolarEdge app. Jude warned me that it would become a favorite pastime, and he was right! Since he first came to give us the lowdown on installing solar at our house, right through the install and coordination with the building department and NV Energy, I’ve been eager to see how much we really would save. So far, it has not been a disappointment. I’ve been thrilled with our service from the whole team at Aspen and I look forward to having them come back to install a charger when we go electric with our automobile, too.

We live off grid north of Bridgeport, California and lost power with a solar battery system that lasted less than 24 months from its installation. We were afraid we would not find a knowledgeable, professional and reliable company for our off grid solar needs. Shawn O’Meara of Aspen Electric was recommended so we gave him a call. Shawn addressed our solar battery and inverter needs quickly, kept me apprised of his activities associated with our situation. Shawn & his employee, Genaro were on site today to install a Fortress power system within hours of their arrival. He walked us through the installation and provided us with an easy to understand tutorial that put us at ease. I knew we had chosen wisely when Shawn said he loved off grid work! Shawn and his team including Briana in the office are 5 star! I would recommend him and his team to anyone with off grid power needs.

I lucked out to get a referral to Shawn at Aspen Electric after our well went out on our rentals off the grid solar setup. Shawn was so kind to squeeze us in first thing to restore our water. He analyzed and fixed the problem within minutes and also assessed and educated me on our off the grid solar setup in our new rental home. The landlady had another solar professional over before who did a poor job evaluating the system or pointing out how to use it properly. Thank you Shawn!!! He is the off the grid go to guy!

We live completely off grid and after 15 years had been having problems with one of our inverters causing us to lose power in half of our house. Aspen Electric put together a package for us with new inverters and batteries. They came out, installed everything and even reconfigured our solar panels all in one day. Our whole power system is now rejuvenated! The whole crew was wonderful! We can’t say enough about Aspen Electric. Contact them if you want someone who truly knows their stuff!

Via a recent crowdsourcing request on Facebook, a friend recommended Shawn OMeara with Aspen Electric and Solar as the must-hire guy to handle my electrical needs. Simply put, Shawn was amazing!During my first call with Shawn, he was polite and courteous, and he took the time to thoroughly discuss my needs and offer a convenient appointment time. The day prior to my appointment, he reached out to confirm the appointment and to clarify any last-minute needs or expectations, and on the day of the appointment he arrived on time (a few minutes early, in fact), ready to work.Shawns technical prowess was evident, and he completed the required work in short order. Before he started, after again confirming my needs and expectations, he took the time to explain his process and what materials he would need to complete the job. He also finished within the stated timeframe, made sure to review what he had done, and asked if I had any additional questions.The payment process was a breeze, and I received a receipt via e-mail within a few moments of the transaction. Shawn also provided two estimates for future electrical work, both of which arrived quickly via e-mail and in an easy-to-read format.My entire experience with Aspen Electric and Solar was wonderful. Excellent customer service, highly proficient work, and great communication all around. Without hesitation I would hire Shawn again, and I encourage you to consider his services if youre looking for a master electrician or solar energy expert.

Excellent service and quality! We have Shawn do the things around the house that I cant handle myself. My favorite part is when he pulls out the level to make sure the conduit is straight! Great work, great skill, great attention to detail. Just dont think you can replace a light switch without turning off the power. Hes got some tricks you dont know...

I wholeheartedly recommend Shawn. He was a refreshing wind of competence and integrity at the end of a long bad experience with shoddy subcontracted electric work. I hired electricians back in April to install solar panels and batteries in my home. They had to return multiple times to correct failed inspections by the city and NVE, leaving circuits unlabeled and switches jammed into the wrong spots. Shawn walked in and within a few seconds told me what it would take to finish, acquired all the parts, and was done right on time the same day. Everything was professionally and precisely done. Hes booked out for weeks and I can see why. I will only work with him so long as hes available.
