Would give more stars if possible. From initial contact through completion, the Tub Cove team was responsive, professional, and highly skilled. They left the work area clean both during the installation and at the end. From Kathy who walked us through the bidding process, to Jeremiah who headed up the installation team, to Alan who did the wall installation, to Jim who owns the company - all terrific people to help us through an expedited process when an elderly relative fell and broke his hip. They were able to fit us into the schedule so he could return to independent living. Communication was timely and our questions were thoroughly answered. So glad this local company is available - we used them 20+ years ago for a rental rehab and were so glad they have thrived since then. Final product was within scheduled and budget and final result exceeded our expectations. Call them!

Tub Cove is the best remodeling contractor I have employed over the past 30 years of home ownership. Unlike most other places with a single (or couple) of jack(s) of all trades, Tub Cove has a qualified staff of separate specialists for tasks requiring unique skills such as the laying of tile, plumbing, electrical, and installation of vanities, tubs, and shower stalls. To ensure continuity of knowledge and learning, each specialist is typically accompanied by an apprentice. Special thanks to the technicians (alphabetical order) Alex, Alexander, Andrej, Austin, Chris, Jeff, John, Jose, Riley, and Vassily. And also to the office staff Ben, Jen, Jeremiah, and Michelle. I am forgetting one more, sorry! Jim, the owner, is always available and, unprompted, frequently checks in on progress and customer satisfaction.Tub Cove remodeled the three bathrooms in my 63 year-old house over the course of four months of painstaking and thorough planning, measurement, preparation, estimating, ordering of materials, and installation sequenced so that we always had the use of one bathroom.Teardown is the most dreaded part of remodeling of old homes because most contractors throw up their hands and claim expensive add-ons for new building codes and unexpected surprises. Well, the age of the house was the first question Jim asked when we first met so his team seemed primed and ready for these changes and adjusted their workflow accordingly without increasing the cost of the initial contract we signed with them.As expected, this old house threw up numerous surprises especially in the realm of plumbing. The biggest surprise was discovering that our old vinyl/fibreglass shower stall had actually been installed to deform around a vent pipe that was not flush with the drywall. TubCove came up with an ingenious solution involving building up the wall and moving the shower drain to accommodate the new marble shower pan and marble stall walls. Another example is the original sink in one bathroom having to be raised so that its pedestal could fit under it; understandable because we replaced the old vinyl floors with tile which is thicker, of course.I could give more examples, but these should suffice. What are you waiting for? Just go with Tub Cove. You wont regret it.

We first became acquainted with TubCove in 2014 when we had them replace the shower stall in our rental home. We were more than pleased! We have since had them replace 2 vanity tops and sinks in our home. Again, we are more than pleased with the materials, the workers, and the workmanship. We did not want a total bathroom remodel, and it was a great way to blend existing flooring and tiles with the new tops. Everyone was great to work with from beginning to end, and we highly recommend them!

Jim and his team were exceptional! I needed a tub replaced in my rental property. Unfortunately, I dont live in the same state as my rental. I called Tub Cove and started working with Jim. He was extremely professional and went above and beyond to explain things over the phone. He also went the extra mile to do a thorough inspection of my existing tub and surroundings, checking for any possible leaks and water damage. He even went the extra mile to walk down into my garage and check for possible water damage there. This was extremely helpful since I wasnt there in person. We were fit into the schedule within 2 weeks of our first conversion (and this was over the holidays, spanning across new years). The whole job only took 2 days. The teams that came in to do the replacement were professional and cleaned as they went. I would recommend Tub Cove 100% and would most definitely call on them again.

We contacted Tub Cove of Seattle to repair the ceiling and replace the old tub and surround in the single bathroom of our 1917 Green Lake Bungalow. We found our Estimator to be VERY knowledgeable, prompt, resourceful , and best of all , KIND (after all it is a small and very old house with few upgrades). We chose our surround & new tub, and discussed our plan for repairing the ceiling. We paid our deposit and the work was scheduled to commence with-in two weeks. The actual project required two days to complete, with demolition and prep on day one and the installation on day two. The team was quite efficient and respectful as the pandemic required us to be working from home during the renovation. I wish to thank the Office Manager for being so timely with information and responsive to our many questions and concerns. We couldnt be more pleased with the result, and the pictures speak for themselves

I was referred to Tub Cove, INC mid Nov 2023. I was looking for a company that could help me with the renovation of my existing bath - a tub and shower conversion. I needed this one renovation task completed asap but no later than January 4, 2024, as I was scheduled to have a full hip replacement on January 11, 2024. I could no longer safely climb in/out of my current bathtub / shower.Tube Cove responded to my request and came through with the much needed time critical assistance. I did add a couple extra renovation tasks to update the existing vanity top and replace the toilet to an ADA toilet. Tub Cove came through in a timely manner with the tub and shower conversion. The remaining tasks were completed by mid-March due to a delay by the suppliers. This delay was found to be fully acceptable by me ...... I had my new walk-in shower!I found Tub Cove amazing to work with....from the owner, Jim, down to all the exceptional crew members. All were very pleasant, friendly and professional. Their pricing is also very reasonable. My bath remodel looks awesome!!! I will use Tub Cove again in the future and highly recommend them.

Its not every day you come across a company that is willing to stand behind its commitment to quality customer service. Amidst the challenges brought on by the pandemic, many businesses have struggled to retain staff and maintain their dedication to customer satisfaction. Tub Cove, however, has managed to excel on both fronts. Not only does Tub Cove boast employees who have been with the organization for 20+ years but they also have excellent managers who care a lot about the work that gets done (shout out to Brandon)! Throughout the process, I must admit, I bombarded them with a lot of questions. Yet, Jim, the owner, remained remarkably patient, providing me with all the resources and support I needed along the way.During my process of evaluating about ten different companies for my shower remodel, Tub Cove emerged as the clear choice. Now in hindsight, I couldnt be happier about my decision. Their dedication to excellence, emphasized repeatedly by Jim, translated into a superb end product. If I ever have future remodeling needs, Tub Cove will undoubtedly be my first call.

Was dreading doing a shower remodel in the new place we bought. Hiring contractors is always a nail biting experience and the quotes are often high pressure and just obscene. Was referred to Tub Cove by a friend and had such a pleasant experience. They had great selection and are flexible when you want something different as long as they feel the items are of good quality.The quote was reasonable and the marble was all prepared on the timeline they committed. They came in and did demolition of the old shower and found rotted wall behind that was out of the scope of what they did. They parked my stuff and waiting for me to find someone to repair walls and came back promptly when the repairs were done. Finished on time and the job looks great. The workers are all employees - not contractors and it shows. Great people, really professional and very friendly.If you are looking for a really solid nice looking remodel on your tub/shower, give them a call. Their prices are fair, work is good and people are really really nice to deal with.

It was finally time to update our bathroom. We were recommended to tubcove from our contractor friend. We were going to go with laminate originally but my husband fell in love with the look of the marble. It was a bit more expensive so I went back-and-forth a few times. It didnt matter. Every time I called and changed my mind, Claire just said no problem. Its a big decision. Let me know if you have any questions.We finally settled on the marble and then just waited for the install. Before we knew it, they were calling to schedule it. Every person that came out was exceptionally professional and friendly. They answered any question I may have had. I cant recommend them enough. The finished project is something that we will enjoy for many, many years to come.

After reading the positive reviews I decided to contact Tub Cove to remodel my 2 bathrooms. Matt came out and from the comfort of my home during Covid, I was able to make selections from samples he provided which turned out to be great choices. During the course of the project which took a bit longer than expected I had occasion to speak with Jim Marowitz. Each time I spoke with Jim it was clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for him.Tub Cove provided several skilled workers who handled various parts of my bathroom renovations. Jeremiah, Austin, Jose, Colten, and Alan are some I remember but there were others and all were very helpful, skilled and professional. My bathrooms turned out great. The beautiful cultured marble surrounds are simply beautiful and easy to clean and I am a very happy customer.

I highly recommend Tub Cove, and the great team I worked with, especially Jim and Jeremiah. Tub Cove resolved a cracked shower pan issue in our shower. A previous contractor had neglected to add a solid foundation under the old shower pan, and Tub Cove remedied this (aka saved the day!) The full experience was about 3 weeks from meet and greet to completion. Very speedy! They were very forthcoming with costs from best to worst case scenarios. As well our final bill was precisely as discussed. The final product is perfect and met if not exceeded my expectations. The crew working on my project was polite, professional, and good about communicating as their work progressed. Thank you Tub Cove!

Hi out there, I just want to share my endorsement of Tub Cove. I picked them to have estimate because they support our local NPR station which is where I heard of them. I waited a month to do my review after the job was done just to make sure nothing unexpected popped up.In short, I had a fabulous experience with this company and the outcome of my shower /tub remodel exceeded my expectations. From the first contact with Matt, who came personally to the house to take preliminary measurements and explain my options and prices, all the way to the fantastic finish guy who made sure I liked the finish product before he left, it was all positive. These people are extremely professional and seem to only want to be the best they can be. I got extra support from them when we discovered some dry rot under the tub I was replacing. The result is a bomber rebuilt floor under the tub that will never be a concern again. I would do business with them again in a flash and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job on bathroom updates or remodels.Jeff

We had a miscommunication glitch due to covid delays and my husbands communication skills. Weve used Tub Cove twice, and love them. The service team is very kind, flexible, and understanding. Both our guest and master baths look great, and they were able to get us in quickly. I will say, you have to know what you want to do with your bathroom more than you would with a remodeling contractor. They dont do a whole bathroom remodel, just the tub/shower bit, and the options they have on-hand are somewhat limited. But they will walk you through the pros and cons of different things very effectively. For us, painting ourselves and doing some online research about tubs and faucets was well worth the many, many thousands of dollars in savings. (One full bath remodel estimate from another company came in at nearly $60,000!!!!!, which is 10x our budget.) Plus, its great to know that our money is going to a reliable, honest, local firm.

Tubcove helped us with 2 bathroom projects. In one bathroom they replaced the shower. In the 2nd bathroom they replaced an old claw foot bathtub with a new tub and surround adding a shower and replaced the flooring, sink and toilet. Tubcove tackled quite a job with our 110 year old quirky house and we are very happy with the result. This is an extremely ethical, customer oriented and friendly business that really stands out in today’s marketplace. They have a terrific carpenter/ remodeler and master of seemingly all building arts in Jose. He does fantastic, careful work. Jim, Tubcove’s owner, is fully invested in making certain that the job is done right and worked closely with us. He is endlessly patient with questions and with the myriad unforeseen issues that arise in working on an old house. He knows his stuff and most importantly, cares about his customers. I think Tubcove stands out as a company whose product and work are both excellent and whose attention to serving customers with care and integrity is exemplary.

It was a pleasure working with Tub Cove from start to finish - from the sales rep who asked us what we wanted - and listened - at no point trying to upsell us or slip in any additional features that we didnt ask for - which may sound obvious but, for the number of times weve encountered it in the past from other contractors it bears mentioning. Every step of the process went smoothly - everyone was competent and pleasant to deal with - all questions were answered and I even spoke with owner Jim, twice, and he was super nice and easy to deal with. They installed our new tub/shower in the timeframe and for the price that they quoted us. My wife and I were both very happy we chose them and would gladly do so again. Jeremiah came to my 5-unit apartment building and gave me an estimate for installing bathroom surrounds in two of my apartments. One thing I appreciated, was that he explained all the details clearly, so that I understood the whole procedure. They are professional, accurate, on time, cleaned up and their work was excellent. My handyman did the demolition of the previous tilework and tubCove did the preparation and installation of the surrounds. Their rates were a little higher than I had at first expected, but were more than fair in the long run.The other units already had surrounds, installed by tubCove a few years ago, and have proven to be trouble free. If I had any more units that needed a surround, I would ask tubCove to install them also.

You know that smart feeling you get when you know you bought exactly the right thing? Every single time I step into my new shower, thats exactly how I feel. What a fantastic job they did! They pulled out my Nixon-era bathtub and replaced it with a roomy shower stall. I thought there was no way thered be enough room in that space, but its like some kind of Dr. Who TARDIS magic that made the space twice as big as it looked. The floor is non-slip, the walls are stylish, the frosted doors open and close super-smoothly and the whole thing is a breeze to keep clean. I cant say thank you enough to Tub Cove -- you guys ROCK!

Only thing was they were so lined up and had to wait for a couple weeks. Replaced tub and surrounding in two days. So far so good after 4 months. Recommend their service.

Well, I was in your shoes a few months ago, and I spent a lot of time calling and speaking with companies who had high star ratings on Google. Let me save you some time - Tub Cove is the best quality and the best value with the best crew. I cant say enough wonderful things about Tub Cove & their whole crew, from the owner (Jim) to the awesome office manager (Lexi) and all the hardworking crew & journeymen who remodeled our bathroom, we had the best experience and are so thrilled with the end results. As first-time bathroom remodelers who got in a little over our heads with ideas/overwhelmed with the wide range of companies & pricing out there, Jim took the time to coach us through the whole process, gave us a wide range of options when it came to scale of project, materials and pricing, and then literally helped me turned my Pinterest board dream bathroom into a reality within our budget. You can pick out all your own finishings from any store (we used Wayfair) and then his experts installed new waterproof flooring and even found us an amazing artisan tiler who did the most perfect white subway tile around our new deep-soaking enclosed tub. Our new bathroom is my most favorite part of our house now. Whether you need a repair, just want to replace your bathtub, or want to do a whole remodel like we did, they have experts who can help you with your project. We worked with Tub Cove on a full scale bathroom remodel with new tub, vanity, toilet, and floor! At every step of the process the team members were professional and communicative. Our situation required extra work because of old house issues with rot, and structural problems. They took care of the extra issues as swiftly as possible and at a fair price! (with carpenter Mark leading the way!) As soon as the extra issues were addressed, they kept us on a schedule for completing the project. At the end of each day they cleaned up the path of construction and so we felt like we were living in a normal space during the deconstruction and construction. Bravo to the entire team.

I replaced an old and ugly walk-in shower with a soaking tub/shower combo. There were a few bumps in the road that were no ones fault as there can be when remodeling. I was very pleased with how these issues were handled by the Tub Cove team. The focus was on finding the best solution for me, and resolving the issues quickly and easily. To resolve these unforeseen issues required two extra trips to my home, and this was done in as timely a fashion as I could have wished. I was also very impressed with all the interactions that I had with the Tub Cove team on site. In addition to being knowledgeable and competent, all of the demo/installation team were very polite and considerate of me and my property, which I have not always found to be the case with other vendors in the past. They made the fun of remodeling as pleasant as possible in every way, and are much appreciated.

We had a free initial consultation with Tub Cove to see what options were available to us in remodeling our bathroom. Jim was phenomenal. He arrived on time and then proceeded to do a thorough evaluation of our bathroom, and was honest in recommending that the remodel did not make sense for us given the shape of our bathroom. He also suggested some businesses we could reach out to for making updates to our flooring and countertops if we had a desire to update them. Not only that, he took a look at our other bathroom and kitchen too at our request. He wasnt out to make money or hurry off to the next client, but instead wanted to ensure we were satisfied with the service.

All appointments were kept timely. All interactions with employees were courteous and professional. On the first day of the projected 2-day install the workers encountered a problem that could not have been discovered before they removed the old shower which they were replacing. The difficulty looked likely to lead to a three to five week delay. That delay would have caused many sequential problems. The workers kept looking for a creative solution to avoid such an impact and were able to find a way to solve the problem. I understood that this required extra materials and time that was outside the original bid. I authorized the extra work and gladly paid the fair price the company requested for their efforts. The job got done, and done right, on the original timeline.I whole-heartedly recommend this company for their level of service and craft. This is a company staffed by friendly, competent professionals.

We were looking to remodel 2 of our bathrooms, one a master bath and the other a guest bath. They were both in poor shape and we knew we wanted a complete remodel of the showers, vanities and flooring. We had been looking at places to do the work for over a year but they were either very expensive or we would get quotes and never hear back. Then we came across Tub Cove.From the very first meeting with Matt, we knew this was the place for us! It was just what we were looking for. It was like winning the bathroom remodel lottery! Everyone, from the owner Jim, to every single person on the team who did the installation, was fantastic to work with. Everyone was professional, friendly, very informative, hard working and there was always someone available to answer any questions or concerns we had. Our bathrooms turned out even better than we imagined! We wanted some special items (such has flooring) that they were more than happy to accommodate. The price for both bathrooms was right in our budget and there was never any hidden fees or surprises and the materials used are very nice quality.I highly recommend TubCove! They made what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into one that went smoothly. I cannot say enough about the whole TubCove team and how pleased we are with the work.

From start to finish - my experience with Tub Cove was fantastic. My job included ripping out tile and dry wall around a tub and replacing it with a beautiful, single piece laminate, along with a plumbing valve update to go from two faucet handles to one and all new bath fixtures. I called to request an estimate, which was promptly scheduled within two days...and within less than a week and a half, had the full job completed. I couldnt be happier with the entire experience from start to finish and would highly recommend the folks at Tub Cove for any shower/bathtub update needs.

I contracted Tub Cove to install a new bathtub, showhead, and toilet which were all done fantastically.There was an issue with the shower head holder that was handled quickly.There was one other minor issue where the toilet wasnt included in the contract even though it was agreed upon in the pricing. However, they still upheld the deal and installed my new toilet.

I have had a good experience with the Tub Cove business in the past, starting 15 years ago when they did the first bathroom remodeling. Second project was done in my new home about 6 or 7 years ago. This time they did a remodeling in my second bathroom in the same home. All 3 jobs were done well, I had no significant problem in their previous projects. They are nice people, a local business, and the price is reasonable.I recommend them without reservation.

Having lived with a dilapidated bathroom for many years a plumbing issue finally prompted me to consider a complete renovation. After hearing a radio ad about local Seattle business Tub Cove I decided to call for an estimate. The rep was very knowledgeable and worked to find a budget I was comfortable with which came in far below my expectation for the amount of work needing to be done. As I was willing to assume some of the preliminary demolition and prepping they also took that into account further lowering the cost. Along with the removal of the old tub and the installation of the new tub, fixtures, surround and shower door, Tub Cove handled everything from the plumbing to replacing and repositioning a new bathroom window. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent and they were on time every time scheduling around my work hours. If you’re looking for a new bathroom at a reasonable cost from a reliable company I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tub Cove.
