This is the second time Ive called Steve Beaton Plumbing for help, and received great, professional, and quality work from them. I have an older home, and now a lot of insurance companies are requiring whole house leak detection/automatic shut-off valves to be installed. Joe & Dave were out this morning and got that put in for me. Excellent work and revised the invoice total when not as much work to install unit was needed. I really appreciate their friendliness, honesty and professionalism.

I had a hot water leak in my concrete slab inside my house. I was so worried that I was going to have to have my inside floors dug up to make the repair. Steve and his team were able to abandon my old water line and run my new water line from my hot water heater through my attic to reconnect to my kitchen hot water line. I highly recommend Steve Beaton Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. I know I will be calling them in the future.

When our Hot Water Heater began leaking on Nov 17th, 2024 we contacted our Home Warranty company and filed a claim. The leak was so bad, it was leaking into a bedroom that backed the wall where the unit was located. We have new carpet, so my husband did his best to prevent the leak from going through the wall. He had to divert the water into buckets, then haul those buckets every two hours because the leak was so bad, it was leaking TWO GALLONS EVERY HOUR! Choice Home Warranty assigned the claim to two different technicians, and both declined to take the job because of their experience with Choice. This caused a several week delay which meant we had to put on a Thanksgiving dinner, all while hauling water! The week before Christmas, Choice sent Steve Beaton Plumbing the order. We then received a call from Matt with Beaton, who was so gracious and empathetic after being told what we had been going through, but said that they too had dealt with Choice Home Warranty in the past, and probably would not take the job. But he said he would run it by Steve and see if maybe they would be able to help us. In the end, this company had the compassion and the empathy for our plight, and agreed to et their technician Joe do the repair. By then, we had gone through Thanksgiving AND Christmas with our dire situation, and headed into New Years Eve! Joe almost insisted that Steve allow him to do the job on New Years Eve afternoon, so that we would NOT have to go through a THIRD HOLIDAY dealing with a Hot Water Heater that was leaking so badly! Joe knew that my husband is 76 years old and had been hauling water since the 17th of November, and he REALLY WANTED TO HELP US! He came out the afternoon of New Years Eve and did a fabulous job of installing a brand new Hot Water Heater. This young man was so enthusiastic about being able to help us, and we were so grateful that SOMEONE was finally going to do the job! Joe was extremely professional and presented himself as a great Ambassador of Steve Beaton Plumbing! I would urge anyone who has a plumbing problem to call this company and you will not be disappointed! Found my water main was leaking. Called one company who said they could come out in about a week. A week! Called Steve Beaton Plumbing and these guys jumped right into action. They were onsite within an hour, quickly found the problem and put together a solution that not only fixed the problem, but improved the line to help avoid any potential future issues. The guys onsite were great. Friendly, answered questions, explained what was happening, and did a fantastic job. I hope you dont need a plumber, but when you do, these guys should be your first call. Well, in less than a month Steve Beaton Plumbing has saved us again. My husband tried to replace the cartridge in our shower/tub because the water flow was so slow. He couldnt get the new cartridge back in without leaking. So once again our main water line had to be turned off. I called Steve the next morning and he had Dave come over to see if it was something easy. Of course it wasnt. He then had Nick come over and repair the issue. Nick was able to go through the closet on the other side of the bathroom. By that evening we were leak free and had water again. Thank you and your staff for the wonderful service and quick response. Most recent work was several years ago installing water heater. The work performed mainly by Nick Weinberger was complicated and involved considerable laying and sweating of copper pipe. He did an excellent job. (I am not sure if he remains at Steve Beaton Plumbing.) The only frustration was in setting up the work and getting a clear definition of what would be done agreed upon (Admin issues rather than work quality issues.) I would consider using them again provided I could avoid the above and have someone of the same quality perform the work if Nick is no longer there. He was exceptional in terms of the quality of work.

Had a main drain clog w septic. They came out promptly within a couple of hours of calling, snaked the line from the roof vent. A week later, the problem recurred. They came back and snaked it again and inserted a scope, saw a break in the line, came back the next day, dug, repaired and added a clean out. Very professional, knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

They responded immediately, Took care of the mess, had a pressure issue, and returned to repair again... no questions, no mess. When the pipes in my slab foundation broke, my house flooded and the majority of Redding plumbers could not get to my emergency for a week or more. However, when I called Steve Beaton Plumbing, they came out the same day. They had two jobs ahead of mine, but called after each job to let me know how close they were to arriving for my call. Steve Beaton and his team were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. David was patient and explained everything so I really understood what they were doing. Matt made sure that everything was cleaned up in the garage before they left. I also had excellent service from Tammy and James who made sure I got scheduled for other projects that needed to be done. All I can say is Steve Beaton and his entire team made my emergency easier and I appreciate all their hard work.

They were slightly late (15 mins.) according to what they told us but called to inform us they had got hung up elsewhere. they had done some work for us in the past (last year) and part of what they had done developed a slight leak. they fixed the leak and did not charge us for the work. said it was under warranty. mat and jed are great friendly guys. i would highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work. interesting thing about the work they did for us originally: we had been told by two other plumbing outfits that it couldnt be done. beaton plumbing did the work and did an excellent job. these people are a pleasure to do business with.

We first worked with Beaton Plumbing when we needed our leaky, exterior hose bibs needed replacing last summer. We spoke directly with the owner, Steve, and he sent someone out the next day - very reasonable! It was surprising how much our water bill decreased! When our aging water heater went out, recently, we called Beatons again since they had been so pleasant to work with. Steve, the owner, came out the same day to assess our situation: our old water heater was challenging as it was located in the attic with limited access. What we thought was going to be a huge, complicated, expensive job turned into a quick replacement with a more efficient tankless system. While tankless systems cost more initially we can look forward to hot water on demand and lower power bills. We really enjoyed working with Steve and his great crew!

We can not be thankful enough! A bit of backstory: Our pipe burst under our house, and after having called another company for them come out, look at it and tell us to dig a trench and they would be back tomorrow. We dug the trench, and when we called back the next day, they said they couldnt get to it till next week, that a tech could come out but that they wanted the guy who did the estimate to come back. This was a Tuesday, meaning no running water in our house till soonest Monday the following week. Two adults, two kids, and two dogs, a week without water didnt sound right. We called Steve Beaton, and they were OUTSTANDING. They hustled and made it out same day. Could not speak highly enough, of the speed, and professionalism. I wish we go the names of the tech, but they did great on the job as well. So thankful that we werent stuck going a week without water. My experience with Steve Beaton Plumbing was excellent. Matt & Steve came out the same day I called. They looked the situation over & discussed what I needed done. Steve gave additional suggestions which I appreciated. They took pictures of the wood rot under the sink. We scheduled a day for the work to be done. Matt called and gave me an estimate for the new faucet, garbage disposal and I also had a clogged toilet line. The estimate included the wood rot being cleaned out and new plywood laid down to make the space useable again. The day of the appointment, David called to let me know they were on their way. David and Ryan arrived promptly and quickly got right to work. They were professional, friendly and stayed on task. They cleaned up as they worked and did a fantastic job. They took pictures when they were done. I am going to have a new toilet installed in a couple of weeks and they will be doing that job also. I highly recommend Steve Beaton Plumbing!
