    Custom Plumbing was very responsive to our situation. I called on Monday and received an appointment for Wednesday.Their communication process is pretty slick. I received an email and a text. I was able to attach photos to my text reply so they had a full appreciation of the job.Patrick was punctual and super helpful. He truly went above and beyond making sure the job was done and the work site was squared away.Ive used Custom Plumbing in the past, I will do so again, and I highly recommend them to others.

    I live in the Pacific Heights Subdivision in Redding and had to have the water supply lines for the whole house replaced due to defective water lines under the foundation. This was a recurring problem and we decided to not just fix the current leak this time and had Custom replace everything.Big job. Expensive - but we absolutely feel we received good value for our hard earned money. It took the 3-man crew about 6 days from start to finish.The guys showed up everyday when they said they would and worked hard all day long. At the end of each day they cleaned everything up, (drywall messes, wall and attic insulation, tools...), making this ordeal less of a headache for sure.We absolutely would and will recommend Custom for any type of plumbing issues in the future.Thank you and a big shout-out to Mark, Steve, Dillon, and Jace. Great job guys!!!

    They came mid September to fix a leak. At the time, they said another seal looked pretty old and would I like to change that, too. I was being cheap and said no, Id wait. Just returned from a weeks trip to a 3 foot puddle in my bathroom. Sure enough, the other seal had failed. These guys ate honest and knowledgeable. Listen to them. Lesson learned.

    I had a precarious multiple water heater system that had deteriorated from age and was in dire need of replacement. Stephen from Northstate Custom Plumbing came up with a solution using a propane tankless water heater and did an excellent removal and new install. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic Service, customer service and job well done ! I called Custom Plumbing for a toilet reset and they had Patrick come out within the hour to complete the work. Thanks to his further assessment of the problem , it came to light my toilet flange was actually snapped and needed replacing. He gave me the option of if wanted it fixed , which I rightfully agreed to and went straight to it . Got my toilet reset , flange replaced and fastened back down all within an hour! If you need a job well done with the utmost respect , efficiency and great results in a timely manner these folks are the ones to call! Thanks again Patrick!

    Jace and Dillon came out to repair our hose bib leak. They were so nice and explained how these bibs worked so it might be more complicated once they started working. However, the job turned out to be the simpler version. Again, they explained all, were professional, reliable and very friendly. We believe we got a quality job for what we paid!     Gas Water Heater leaking, needed replacement. They quoted immediately, sent repairman to take WH away, tear out damaged base, and bridge cold water for use. When base was repaired, they responded immediately to install, making certain pilots were working elsewhere in house, and dealing with faucet sediment.

    I called in a panic before 7 AM and they were very reassuring and sent out a gentleman named Darren and he did a wonderful job and gave the best recommendations and answered all of my questions in detail. I feel confident with the repair that was made and the advice that was given about my hot water heater. It was also really neat having a 3rd generation plumber come to the rescue (extremely knowledgeable and reassuring). also Darren was extremely professional and straight forward and to the point. he was also very nice to my 4 year old son when he was asking him questions and that’s a huge plus because most repairmen of all trades seem to have an attitude of not wanting to be bothered by the homeowners children, but Darren had a wonderful attitude and was incredibly polite. I 1000/10 recommend using this company (especially if Darren is the plumber that arrives) for every reason. Also got here faster than I thought they would, very very kind, extremely knowledgeable, extremely dependable, quick and quality work (you can tell he is very well experienced and highly trained in his profession), also really good value. The cost was way less than I thought it would be especially given that it was a last minute-emergency call. overall, I am beyond satisfied and will recommend them to anyone and will call them for any future needs! They definitely set the bar very very high fir every area - professionalism, quality, dependability, knowledge, kindness, and cost!

    I recently had the pleasure of hiring Steven to install a water filter and address a stubborn leak that had been damaging the concrete below my front porch for far too long.     While the timeframe is likely dependent on the season and their schedule, I would like to give a BIG recommendation to Custom Plumbing. I spoke with Mark yesterday and described the problem. There was excellent communication, and I was quickly scheduled. Patrick, who performed the work, contacted me as he was running a little early. North state sent him to do faucet repairs and he did a thorough job replacing needed parts and checking all aspects of repair to be sure we were operating correctly. Steve also flushed and serviced our tankless water heater and did a great job. Would recommend this shop. Fast efficient, reliable service for sure.

    Theres a reason these guys are best in the northstate! As the manager of an RV Park when you have a major plumbing issue on one of the busiest weekends of the year you need someone fast! Custom Plumbing showed up quickly, identified the problem and got straight to work, they didnt give up until things were flowing again we were able to reopen the restrooms same day which was wonderful!     We had a bathtub faucet that wouldnt turn off. We called Custom Plumbing and they sent someone out within the hour. There was great communication via text and email as to when to expect them to arrive. The plumber Steven was very friendly, professional, efficient but thorough, making sure all my concerns were addressed, (including a couple of other small issues with other faucets!) and that I confirmed that all was fixed to satisfaction. He wore shoe covers and made sure everything was left clean. Will definitely use them again!

    Patrick did an excellent job clearing our residence sewer line which was fully packed with acorns from woodpeckers feeding from top of the house roof vent. It took 3 days of attempts trying multiple methods to clear the acorns. He also added screens on every vent holes on the roof to prevent the problem again. We were impressed of his professional capabilities and attitude, never gave up providing his best effort to us. Huge thank you!

    Excellent plumbing company. They are on time and always professional. They have excellent equipment to fully assess the plumbing for your entire house. John came out to our house a while ago to adjust the water flow for our toilets, saving us a ton of water. He made recommendations but was never pushy. I really appreciate that about this company.Update: I just called Custom Plumbing because our water heater wasnt working. After wasting 2 hours trying to figure it out, I called the professionals to get the job done right. Boy am I glad I did. John was able to diagnose 2 parts that were broken and found 2 small gas leaks in the propane line supplying the water heater. John is extremely thorough. He also told me the 2 parts are under warranty and he would get the manufacturer to reimburse. Great company, awesome service. I appreciate the help.

    Darren, from Custom Plumbing, did a great job installing a new tankless water heater. He was on time each day, and was very professional and courteous. His apprentice Jace, was also very respectful and professional. Darren listened to what I wanted, and asked me for input at times, to make sure it was a job that I (the customer) approved of. The plumbing for the water and gas lines were neatly situated along side the tankless water heater, and everything looks clean and organized. I hope our new tankless water heater last a long, long time.

    9/15/2023 Walk-In Tub LeakWe had a leak in our walk-in tub. John sent a plumber out the next morning. Zac assessed issue, repaired leak, noticed an additional leak elsewhere, and tightened bolt to resolved that issue, as well. Many plumbers were not willing to tackle a walk-in tub repair. We appreciated Northstate Custom Plumbing for tackling our repair and highly recommend their services.2022 Disposal LeakMichael was so accommodating and sent a plumber out to us same day. Lucas arrived on time, was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. Lucas immediately diagnosed source of leak and quickly corrected issue. We were highly impressed with Michael and Lucas’ customer service and highly recommend their services.

    I been having some problems with our septic tank and our toilet so we had Big valley sanitation out here and they cleaned out our septic tanks and it was still clogged on a Sunday and another huge shout out to Mel he did an awesome job.the professionalism of this company right off the bat was fantastic.They come out in about an hour from the time I called them after calling other companies they were all booked but suggested by call custom plumbing of Redding. (Brilliant Idea)A gentleman by the name of Stephen answered the phone very polite and accommodating and very thorough about what he needed to do and what I asked of him. This company and the people that work for them are 10 out of 10. They got the job done. And so thankful for this company coming out on a Sunday and taking care of my problem. I highly recommend this company and a very very reasonable price I was very scared to call it plumber thinking it would be super expensive. And they are very reasonable price. And again on July 13th North State custom plumbing come out again due to somebody on Angies list doing a horrible 10 hour job on my bathtub leaving me without water and a ripped up bathroom. I called North State custom plumbing they came out and gentleman by the name of Chuck did an amazing job on my bathtub I am in love with it. It was a huge costly mistake but it was well worth having North State custom plumbing come out. All the people there are wonderful very knowledgeable. If youre ever in need for plumbing services I highly recommend you call them and they give you a Senior citizens discount which was huge benefit to me. North State custom plumbing will be doing all of my plumbing needs from now on. Dont hesitate on calling them 10 out of 10.

    I happened to see a plumber working at 1 of my neighbors houses so I approached him and it turned out to be Steven. I told him the issue I was having and he discussed w me for a minute and suggested I call the office and set up an appointment. I called and had an appointment the next day. Steven came over and not only was able to fix the pressure problem but did such a fantastic job. It looks so good and you can tell he takes pride in his work.     I would rate this business a 10 if I could. The knob from my shower broke off at my townhouse. My manager wasnt answering and my shower was starting fill up fast from all the water coming out.     Called at 5:30 PM on a Sunday and spoke to an actual human, not an answering machine. He told me things that I could try on my own to fix the problem before hiring them to fix the leaking pipe, which I really appreciated.He was able to come the following day, a Monday. He called me twice with timing updates, to let me know when he was nearly finished with his other client and again to let me know he was on his way. He was professional and friendly, and taught me what it was he was doing to fix the leak. After two hours of work and finally having running water again, we were only charged $315, a price much lower than we anticipated.We are only going to be calling Custom Plumbing from now on. Steven did his work honestly and professionally, and was a breath of fresh air when you are so worried about being overcharged and scammed by plumbers.

    Our 27 year old instant hot water circulating system developed a pinhole leak downstream from corrosion of a single galvanized/copper connection. After contact, based on reviews, Mark presented three possible estimated solutions for my choice. Patrick modernized the connections to our 11 year old tank and worked through a series of fittings to restore the circulating pump.When the copied previous pump orientation was found incorrect, Mark and Patrick collaborated on approaches to the challenging hookup and Patrick returned. 23 connections later, the pump is optimally installed and new junctions should make future replacement of pump and tank easier. Attention to the challenge and customer satisfaction were superb, though almost certainly not profitable, and I highly recommend and would use them again.

    Best experience with a plumber, ever! Basically we called in Custom Plumbing to fix the mistakes of the Plumbing company that our home warranty company sent out.     Early this morning I noticed water running from our side yard. I dug and located the source of the leak, which was coming from an elbow on our main line just our side of the meter. We had used Custom Plumbing once before and were very satisfied so I shut off our main and called, speaking with John. He told me that one of his plumbers, Steven, was on another job but would complete that and be at our home within two hours. After about an hour, Steven called and said he was on his way, arriving within 20 minutes. He was extremely polite, professional, clean, efficient and thorough. He explained the repair and completed the job in a short amount of time. He had to wait for the glue to dry and asked if we had any other issues that we wanted to discuss or for him to look at while waiting for the glue to dry and doing the final test on the repair. We had been living with low water pressure since moving into the home and asked about that. He ran pressure tests in a couple different areas with other faucets open and closed. Within about 10 minutes he identified the problem as a faulty/worn out PRV - Pressure Relief Valve. He had the necessary parts with him and completed the repair/replacement of the PRV. It is wonderful to have full pressure again and no leaks! Steven was beyond great and we will be requesting and recommending him and Custom Plumbing for all of our and our friends/family plumbing needs at a very reasonable and fair price.

    Custom plumbing did a great job on our house. First we found out we had a hot water slab leak and we chose to do a reroute of the hot water line to the kitchen.     Just want to thank Custom Plumbing for the great service! PG &E turned off the gas at my mother-in-laws place due to a gas leak. I called Michael at Custom Plumbing and explained the problem and that I had a 83 year old woman with out gas. As busy as they were she shuffled the schedule at the same time one of their technicians had a death in the family. Through this all Michael got Lucas on the job. It required all new supply gas line, [22 feet of line] and 3 new valves under the house. Lucas worked into the evening to be sure all connections were sealed and only after he was sure there were no leaks did he allow me to call PG & E to return to connect.     Lucas at custom plumbing came out the day before Christmas Eve. After having a different plumbing company come out 3 times for the same issue. Lucas was very thorough and identified the problem right away. There is a Y in the pipe that prevented him from being able to snake out the pipe in question from our clean out so he went under our house to see our plumbing and figure out the problem. Thank goodness, because he found out garbage disposal we purchased wasnt a good fit and was able to install correct/better one on the spot.Noticed flow in sink faucet was low and problem solved ... wasnt on list but glad he cared.Was able to route out existing plumbing connection and we didnt have to chip out foundation. Clean, durable plumbing installed to repair main drain pipe from sink as well as corrected an improperly installed cleanout.Worked with us ... we prepped the access to the plumbing to save us $.Definitely use again!

    I was very impressed with the whole process of the small remodel job performed. First the estimator is scheduled, Mark came and took measurements, pictures, and paid attention to my request and vision of moving the washer & dryer station to the garage. Then I was sent the quote (emailed), i was able to ask any questions via text, call, or email. I then proceeded to accept their proposal and schedule dates for the project. Plumber Dylon was assigned to the job. Dylon was great, very thorough, and clean altogether. Overall, I am very satisfied with their work and not only do I highly recommend, I will hire them again.
