We are so lucky to have been able to work with Jamie and his crew! Designing the library, kitchen, and bathroom vanity with Jamie was so much fun. The cabinets and library shelves are beautiful and are exactly what we were hoping for. The live edge shelves in the library are beautiful and go so perfectly with the floors. We got super lucky and Jamie was also able to help us out with a shower pan in the master bathroom! We couldnt have asked for a better experience and are so thankful for Jamie and his crew!

I had never done a large renovation on my home like this before, and Jamie provided services from start to finish that were professional, affordable, and came with a finished product that was better than anticipated.Jameson helps you from the initial meeting, basic layout, scaled drawings, 3D renderings, and professional assistance on what would and would not work within the constraints of you renovation. His field installers, Greg and Ryan, were also top notch, professional, and did an amazing job.Hands down, this is one of the best residential contractors I have ever seen. Jamie and his team did a great job on our kitchen! We did a complete kitchen renovation last summer - including tearing down a wall and doubling the kitchen square footage. The installation went smoothly and quickly. The cabinets themselves are so beautiful and functional!After a few months of living with our new kitchen, we decided that we wanted to add some additional shelves above our new coffee bar. Jamie and his team was a pleasure to work with from the design through install. He created all the custom cabinetry and projects for our new build - and we had quite a few unique requests. Jamie designed a hair appliance drawer for my primary bath, turned a whiskey barrel into an incredible basement bathroom sink, made an awesome hidden pantry door, trimmed out an island to die for (in my opinion :), built an show stopping hood and made our 75 gallon fish tank match the bar cabinetry! He truly listened to my vision and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! Thank you!

This is the best find that Ive ever had. At the start of the project, I had chosen two contractors to initially begin with on this journey. After meeting Jamie, I didnt need to go any further. He got us and gave us many options, consulting with us, not selling us. What else do you hate about your kitchen still resonates with me. He understood me. Samantha was phenomenal with giving us a 3D rendering and letting me make a change without any issue. Shes great and kept us up to date on the schedule. Always pleasant and I never felt that I was an imposition. Next were Greg & Ryan. So adept at what they do and they did have challenges with our home. Never complained and were at the utmost professionals. Im really looking to see what else we can do to have them back! :-) Thank you all, we are so pleased with the results and feel that we received a wonderful customer experience. (BTW, the blind corner cabinet is the BEST!.)

Was very happy with Jamie and his team. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my kitchen re-design (we moved into a 1960s house). It wasnt just a simple replacement of countertops and cabinets. I had no idea where to start and their team helped me design a kitchen that I love and was within my budget. I had a very good experience with Jameson Fine Cabinetry. When I first called the office, I spoke with Nicole and gave her the dimensions of my laundry room and told her what I thought I needed. A few hours later she called back with a rough estimate of what the job would cost. At that point we made an appointment for Jamie to come out to my home, look at the laundry room, and take measurements. When Jamie came, he brought some samples and was able to give suggestions. Within a couple days after Jamie took measurements, a purchase agreement with the job description and cost was emailed to me. I signed the purchase agreement and mailed it back with my 50% deposit, and then the cabinets were ordered. After the cabinets arrived, I was called to schedule an installation date. On the day of installation, Cameron delivered the cabinets, and Hans and Gary did a beautiful job with the installation. They arrived on time, and they were very professional and did quality work. At the completion of the job, I wrote a check for the balance and signed off on the work that was done. I will definitely contact Jameson Fine Cabinetry if I need more cabinet work done, and I will happily recommend them to my friends.

Ive been a Licensed General Contractor in NC since 1999, and before that worked as a Project Manager, for a national homebuilder for 2+ years, so I am very familiar with cabinets and those who supply and install them. Jameson Fine Cabinetry has done my last 3 homes, and without a doubt, has been the best cabinet vendor to date. From initial field layouts in the home, to drawings and pricing and finally to install and punch out, the systems in place at this company are fantastic. Communication is easy, and when there is a issue to resolve, it is handled quickly and properly. The quality of the cabinets sold, are not only identical to what I was paying more money to my last cabinet vendor, but in my opinion a notch or two better. I was surprised on the first install to find out that my kitchen doors had easy close hinges on them, an upgrade anywhere else in the market. If youre shopping around, as I was 9 months ago, for a cabinet company, give Jameson Fine Cabinetry a serious look, you wont be disappointed.

I am a large scale contractor and when it came time to do the kitchen in our personal home we chose Jameson Fine Cabinetry to install a comlpicated cabinet assembly in a historical home.The walls and floors were uneven and out of plumb. They were able to overcome this very challenging situation with a very professional attitude and just went about doing the work.The results are flawless and we are extremely happy with the results.They kept up a very good line of communication and showed up when they said they would. I reached out to Jameson to help me with my brand new kitchen that I purchased from one of the big box places. I originally hired their contractor to install but that turned into a nightmare! It was a mess. I was lucky enough that the company I purchased from agreed to not charge for the install due to all the issues but I was left with a half, and incorrectly installed, kitchen. Thankfully, a friend knew about Jameson! Cameron came out and spent an hour with me going through our kitchen and explained what everything was and what would need to be done. He then gave us a very fair price along with a schedule. They showed up re-moved most of what was installed and then reinstalled correctly. My cabinets now look great! The crown molding and the little details were all done perfectly!Thank You Thank You Jameson and crew, highly recommend !!

Very happy with the final installation of cabinet/drawer inserts in our kitchen. The inserts were custom made. We have been using them for approx. 2 months and they meet all of our needs/function very well. Cabinet pull-outs are strong and support heavier small appliances. There were some delays in completing the work, due to some mistakes in fabrication initially. However, these were all addressed. We would not hesitate to use Jameson again or refer them to others.Previous Post: We are happy to post that Jamie did reconnect with us. He developed a quote and ideas on cabinet designs. We are scheduled to have drawer and cabinet inserts installed soon. We have increased our rating to 3 stars and will revisit this rating after our installation. We are pleased with the progress to date in this most recent interaction. The work has progressed quickly and, like our first interaction with Jamie discussed below, we enjoy working with Jamie.Previous Post:2 sided experience with Jamie, the owner of the company. Our first experience with him was very positive. He came to our house shortly after we first spoke with him. We liked him both personally and professionally. He listened well to our needs and had very good ideas. We were excited when he left, looking forward to a built in cabinet design and a cost estimate for all of the other items we discussed.Our second experience has been very disappointing. We heard nothing from Jamie or anyone else in his company for several weeks, contrary to his commitment to get back to us sooner. Messages left were not returned. When I finally reached Jamie, he apologized and said they would get back to us the next week. We heard nothing. We called again, Jamie apologized again and said he would have designs and quotes to us the following Monday. That was three weeks ago. As of today, Nov 6, we have had no information provided by them. Jamie had visited our house on Aug 30th. We truly wish this had been a different experience.

This company did an outstanding job on my kitchen cabinets for our kitchen overhaul. From the first phone call we were completely satisfied with the entire process start to finish. The owner met twice with me at our home to design our kitchen and answered all questions both at the home and follow up phone calls. Our visit to the showroom to pick out the cabinetry was easy and informative with numerous samples of cabinetry, countertops, hinges, hardware, finishes, etc. to choose from. The installer crew finished off the process with expert installation and a professional appearance and attitude from the work crew. A week after installation the work crew revisited immediately after calling to fix a clip on a drawer which was not properly closing . A++ service from start to finish.

Let me start off by saying, I DO NOT write reviews but I realize how important reviews were when we were searching and thought this review could be helpful to so many people. My husband and I started the long difficult search of trying to find a reputable cabinetry company. Our wonderful dishwasher decided to turn on us and caused tremendous damage to our hardwoods/cabinet boxes in our kitchen. Our cabinets and cabinet boxes needed repairing/replacing. After a long and extensive search (which included countless interviews), we decided to give Jameson Fine Cabinetry a try. Jamie Fagel (the owner) was incredibly knowledgeable, the price was fair, and every question/concern we had was answered in a timely manner to our satisfaction. Prior to the start of the project, we received a detailed step by step email so that we knew exactly what to expect. Gary arrived on Day 1 and we were off. Our granite counters needed to be removed to re-set the cabinets and they even set up and coordinated this with the granite company for us. And as if that wasnt enough...we had a little hiccup with the hardwoods company we hired and Gary fixed the flooring issue so we could stay on track with the project. Okay, let me repeat. Gary fixed an issue that was out of the scope of the job he was hired to do so that we could stay on track!When we hire someone we expect them to expertly do a job in which they are hired/paid. We dont expect them to go above and beyond. We are happy with the results and our cabinets look amazing! You can not tell they were repaired or replaced. If you are in need of a reputable, honest, and dependable cabinetry company, I strongly encourage you to at least give Jameson Fine Cabinetry a call.

Had some flooding in an apartment building late last year. Got in contact with Cameron at Jameson Fine Cabinetry to help replace all of the cabinets and countertops to best match the existing. There was an issue with the counter top not sitting level when my granite supplier came for the install and even though it was not a problem caused by Jameson, upon request they came out the next day and fixed the issue for us. This is the company you are looking for. They deliver a good product and install for the right price, simple as that. But if you have been getting estimates, you can appreciate how hard that can be to find.I asked for 9 estimates, yes, you read that correctly, n-i-n-e. Our job was rather straightforward - rip out old cabinets, do some basic remodeling, and add in the new cabinets and countertop. Jamie was the only person to show up and actually take pictures and measurements. By the next day we had a rough set of plans delivered to us that we used as a starting point. The total job estimate (materials + labor) was roughly double that of buying just the cabinets and counters direct from a low cost reseller. Thats a great deal if you do your homework in looking around.How did the other estimates go? Terrible. One kitchen remodeler in Durham took 2 weeks to contact us. Nope. One was a smaller time operator that played constant phone tag. Nope. Three of the estimates came from boutique design and remodeling companies from Durham. Im not sure how else to describe them. When coming for an estimate they may sit on the road running your address and looking up the value of your home and then throw a huge unrealistic number at you. Lets say a 1/3 of what you bought your house for a few years ago - no joke. And they want you to take weeks to go through their design phase which you have to pay several thousand for - even if you know what you want done essentially. A co-worker recently talked to one of these exact companies and they came back after the initial quote with a startling jump in price when it was time to sign the deal. Be aware of these companies unless you have a significant and I mean significant remodel. The other companies I looked at were just resellers of cabinets and I decided that was not for me at this time. There was only one other true competitor from Hillsborough, but they backed out of sending a quote because they could not compete with Jamesons quote is my guess.How did the job come out? Great! Jamie and Keith were great to work with, as well as all their associates. I will roughly guess they were 1/3 of the cost and 1/3 of the timeframe that the bigger boutique remodeling places were quoting us. These larger places also will try scare tactics of saying they do quality work and all other companies that can do it for less do bad work and will destroy your home. That is not true. Jameson provides an honest price for the correct amount of work needed. They will not upsell you or look for reasons to justify a bigger remodeling job. They will do the job you want with the materials you want, no more, no less.Were there problems? Not really. I watched the work going on as any customer should. If I had questions or concerns I just made a list for Keith or put post-it notes on the areas in question. Every single item I mentioned was addressed to my liking. Most of those issues were simply my OCD to begin with.
