I hardly ever write reviews, but felt compelled because of another positive experience working with Phillips Plumbing/Mechanical in Cranston RI. We all know that when we have to call a plumber, we are already stressed out! Dealing with the office staff (especially Patty and David), as well as the technicians make things so much easier. I had my oil burner converted to gas and John (the owner) came by to explain the entire process and offered various options to help me save money. As a result of their consistently exceptional service, I call them whenever I need anything plumbing related. Ive had my vanity sink and toilet installed by Kyle, who did a great job. I noted when tech Serge came by recently, he put on covering over his shoes, so you can appreciate their attention to detail. Finally, the owner John called me personally, in the middle of the busy heating season, to check to see if I was satisfied with a recent service call. This is a great company, top to bottom- worthy of five star reviews. Thank you.

Phillips plumbing always delivers the most professional service, and they are incredibly reliable and trustworthy. I never have any doubt, whenever I call them, the job is done correctly, quickly, and professionally. I wouldnt use any other plumbing company since finding them. Ive had them do a few jobs over the years, mostly replacing water heaters in rental units and relocating water heaters. I cant recommend them more highly.

Excellent customer service! The process with Phillips is very fluid and well orchestrated. We were able to apply for 0% financing with their help.The plumbers are friendly, empathetic to customer voice and needs and are excellent in what they do.The gas heater setup is not only functional but also beautiful and is what I call “functional art” .What’s more, they also have us two dinner ticket at a beautiful restaurant and I got to enjoy it with my husband.Truly remarkable service and great care for their customers.

These guys are the best. I had an emergency! My sewer line collapsed and I needed someone right away. I called Phillips Plumbing and the owner John Phillips came down, looked at the job and provided me with an estimate within 48hrs. Their price was less than most estimates I received and was able to schedule the job and get the work done quickly. Thank you John and your awesome crew!!!!

Thank you Phillips Plumbing for yet another job well done. This is the second time weve used them for a big job. The first time they installed a new boiler and this job included putting in a full bathroom in basement as well as replacing all the old cast iron piping to complete a remodel. Not only were they reasonable in pricing the care and neatness of their work is unbelievable! The staff is amazing and had the pleasure of working with not only the owner John, but Mike and Scot as well as the girls in the office Kim and Patty. You guys are the best! We couldnt be more satisfied! We wont use anyone else.Highly recommend.

We bought an old house with lots of issues. Kyle came and couldn’t figure out the problem right away. He came back the next day, discovered the issue and started working diligently. It’s going to be a big project but he was very honest and accommodating. He was super friendly and great with my crazy kids.I had to contact the office with some questions and Sue was just wonderful. Very thorough and patient. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service we have received thus far. Great company! I would highly recommend!

My boiler gave out CO levels high!! Phillips Plumbing came right out estimated the work returned in a timely manner with a replacement boiler!! Beautiful work!! They have taken very good care of me! I had uneven heat distribution due to being on one zone always cold on one floor and hot on another and now they have given me two zones which we are now very comfortable. We purchased a home in Providence RI in Jan of 2013. During our inspection the boiler clearly need replacing. Over the course of the summer I got seven quotes to replace the boiler, some cheap some expensive and some down right IDIOTIC!Phillips plumbing was a pleasure to deal with, professional office staff gray techs and really awesome workmanship. They installed our new boiler converting from oil to gas and removing the oil tank from our basement. All the workers were conscious of keep the mess down and making sure everything was to our satisfaction before they left. The installation was really really nice work. Im a mechanically minded person and a bit of a geek and the quality of the installation made me really happy.We had a minor issue with the system a couple weeks after the install, it was an issue with the boiler itself NOT their work, they sent someone out within an hour of calling. It was also the same tech that had done the install so he was not only familiar with the job but made my wife more comfortable seeing a familiar face in the house.These guy were not the cheapest quote I got but the quality of their work and the honest and really spot on communication was well worth the small premium we payed for them to do the work. I hope when you need plumbers youre lucky enough to stumble across an outfit as good as these guys.

They were able to send Bernie out day of for a non-emergency issue. He came around 5pm and stayed till around 7:30 and was able to resolve our issue, which we really appreciated his willingness to work late. He was polite, straight forward and very clean which was nice as he was doing pipe work in a freshly reglazed bathroom with new floorsSomething that caught us off guard was they had a $40 charge for them to come out to give a quote, that I didnt recall hearing about prior to him coming out.

I had Phillips remove an old oil boiler and install a new gas boiler through the RISE energy efficiency incentive program. From start to finish working with Phillips was one of the best contractor experiences Ive had. I received a competitive quote AT the job evaluation; the office was easy to get ahold of, and guided me through the entire RISE paperwork process; and the install team was professional, courteous, clean and fast. The final install is really neat and tidy. These guys are truly above and beyond.

These guys are the best!!! I tried calling a few plumbers to replace my Gas water heater, and I kept getting the run around. I talked with Phillips, and they called me right away to set up an appointment. The installer was Ryan, and he was pleasant and very easy to deal with. The next time I have a plumbing issue, Im calling them 1st. If you need a plumber, give them a call.

I got an estimate for a boiler by far the most intuitive quote Ive ever gotten went over everything step by step I couldnt have asked for more but the price was quite a bit steeper than my other 3 quotes unfortunately. Would have preferred to use Phillips but 8900 vs 13000 was a big difference. Would use for my radiator servicing though!

Last night I got a call from one of my employees saying that there was water leaking through the wall at a quick rate. The dining room and bathroom were being flooded.I tried the business manager for the building but they left and I couldnt get ahold of them, and the business next to us that seemed to be where the water was comming from had closed for the night. There was no way to access the main water line because, no business manager = no keys to get to.John was our plumber that came in a timely manner, even though it was late at night. He had to preform the only option with the sources available. It was unbelievable to see him pull off cutting 2 of the punctured waterline in half, and then attaching temporary valves onto the water gushing lines. If he did not do this, our entire building would be a foot deep in water by the time the building manager came in today.Thanks John for your bravery in that task last night. You are a true hero!

Had lost heat over the weekend in 20 degree weather. This was the only company out of many called in warwick to answer their phone on Sunday and make it a point to fit us in Monday morning. Prices were given up front, and within reason for the services provided. Also quoted a price for other repairs needed but there was no pressure to complete the repairs same day. Overall very pleased with the response time and service provided.

Ive used Phillips Plumbing multiple times for my house and business. At home, they installed a whole house water filter so we can confidently and safely drink from the tap, rather than buying bottle water. They also switched us from oil to gas heat, with a 0% interest 7 year loan!

I hired Phillips to perform the rough plumbing for my new home because after meeting with the owner, I felt they were the best fit & checked all the boxes. Best plumbing company ever!!! From Kim in the office who is awesome...to the friendly plumbers...to the person who came to snake the pipe. I could not afford to pay all at once and they were very understanding. They took the horrible situation we were in with a burst main pipe in our basement and made it bearable. Need I say more! This was not philips plumbing and heating they used a subcontractor to remove asbestos snow man boiler the company that removed it was B&D boiler removal even though I was expecting philips to do removal and install new boiler I am very pleased with B&D removal they were prompt professional and on time and told me over phone what and when what they were doing and they were fast and clean nice job to there crew thank you and philips plumbing good choice for using them thank you philips for handling this all for us you guys are doing a great job hope to have heat in day or two I cant walk so I hope everything is good down there in basement they removed very very fast couldnt believe it is gone
