    I needed a new deep sink installed in my kitchen and Scott was able to get to it the very next morning after I called. He showed up right on time and was very professional. Did great work and was very upfront about everything, would hire him again for any plumbing needs.

    Scott is absolutely amazing! He arrives on time and truly cares about the job heā€™s doing. Iā€™ve used other plumbers in the past however; if I ever need anything done again Iā€™ll call Scott!     Scott was awesome. I am remodeling my kitchen and needed a drain moved. Scotts work was spot on. He was on time and very friendly. He showed me my options and explained what he was going to do. I was given a written estimate that was more than a fair price. He was able to start the job right then. Its nice to still be able to find a true craftsman at his trade.

    Scott got our new under-the-counter water filtration system installed like a champ! He made specific recommendations on placement and changed out a manufacturer-included part for something that would be less likely to leak in the future. Filter works beautifully. Definitely recommend!!

    It was late in the evening when we had an emergency after discovering a main water leak in our mudroom. I went down into the basement to close off the main shut-off valve in our mechanical room. I then verified we had no water coming out of the faucets and shower/tubs. I went back to the mudroom and water continued spraying out of the pipe!Now very concerned by how much water damage we may incur my wife called eight plumbing services. Ultimately it was Scotts Plumbing who called me back and was able to first, turn off the water, using a special tool, located at the curb of the street. And then he solved the issue (see the before and after photos below) by replacing the damaged pipe and installing a ball valve in the mudroom right next to the black poly pipe coming in from the street. It should have been installed there in the first place.Scott is very experienced, professional, and I appreciate how calm and kind he was to take care of our issue.     The only plumber I trust in North Idaho! Ive tried at least 3 others in the area but Scott is the most professional, honest, reliable and responsive. In the past other plumbers guess at the problem and do work arounds, often costing me. Scott works hard to find the root of the problem and explains the solution in detail so youre a more knowledgeable home/property owner. He has worked on one of my residential properties as well at my commercial retail building. I highly recommend Scotts services and beware of other plumbers especially when they are not properly licensed.

    We had a two-day plumbing job that was completed in just one day so we werent left without water over night. Not only did Scott finish the job quickly, but he also took care of an HVAC issue and leaky drain for us. Professional, efficient, and highly skilled.

    Our overall experience with Scottā€™s plumbing was good. He was responsive and very knowledgeable of his trade! We had a few hiccups along the way, but those were not Scottā€™s doing - the former owner had installed the plumbing and unfortunately, an issue surfaced that could have been catastrophic, but Scott addressed that issue and the original one. He was very good at explaining the original problem and ensured it wonā€™t recur. Most of the work was done in a crawl space and quite restrictive. Scott is friendly, informative and diligent as he works. It wasnā€™t inexpensive, but when it comes to plumbing we prefer quality versus a cheap and substandard repair.

    I had to call Scottā€™s Plumbing on a Sunday due to frozen pipes -this was on 1-14-2024. Scott was very responsive and upfront about his prices. He and his team were able to help and communicated effectively with me. The service was timely. The team was patient and answered all my questions. His team including Derick, Troy, and Dan were all very helpful. The others present were helpful as well. It was also nice that the team gave me advice on how to prevent problems in the future. I would easily call them again.

    Scottā€™s Plumbing came by today. I had the pleasure of working with Derek and Tory. They were both very kind, helpful, and timely. They seemed knowledgeable and genuinely wanting to help. I was really impressed with how quick and efficient they were, they didnā€™t spend a lot of time standing around chatting. They found the problem, did what they could to fix it, were very open and informative and didnā€™t leave a mess behind them. Iā€™m only sorry they had to go under our house into the crawl space - eek!Thank guys!The only reason for four stars instead of five, is because we really donā€™t have a definitive answer on the issue and due to the season, I understand itā€™s expensive, but the bill was a little steep.

    Tory and Derek did such an amazing job! I had been without hot water during a deep freeze when the temps dropped to -15. Then last week when the temps started coming back up I heard a bang and gush of water rushing under the house. My house is old and both the hot water tank and electrical box are under the house in a cellar I like to call the dungeon Scotts plumbing got the city to turn off the water right away just before the water level reached the electrical box. Tory and Derek braved going under the house into that portal to hell and fixed my pipes. They even got the city to come out quickly to turn the water back on so they could check everything before they left. Thank you guys sooo much!!

    Scottā€™s Plumbing was my first call when my water heater pilot light wouldnā€™t stay lit. It happened on a Friday night and he came promptly Monday morning.     I reached out to Scott in regards to a leaking water heater pipe. He was able to get out to see us quickly and do an estimate at no cost.     Had a water heater go out. We contacted several plumbers who could not come out same day (though two said they would fit us in the schedule for a $125.00 added fee). Called Scotts Plumbing and was relieved when he said he could be there within the hour. The tank did need replacing. They were out the next day for the install. While working on the installation a water leak was discovered as well as a broken sewer drain. Both were repaired in short order. All three workers were efficient, courteous, and had quite the sense of humor! Bottom line: a quality service at a reasonable price.

    In the evening last week, we experienced our sewage pump in the basement failing and it began to back up in the bathroom and leak. Needless to say a very urgent and potentially messy situation. We ended up needing to have the pump replaced and an alarm installed to alert us to any future malfunction.We contacted Scotts Plumbing after business hours and within one hour, Scott arrived to assess the situation. He was able to quickly identify what needed to be done and was able to help us stabilize the back up so no further water was leaking. Scott arranged for us to have the pump replaced early the next morning. The repair/ replacement went very smoothly and we were back to normal in less than 24 hours. Throughout the entire process we were impressed by not only Scott and his staffs professionalism, timeliness, knowledge and commitment to a job well done; but we also greatly appreciated their personalized, friendly service. They clearly went above and beyond to make sure that we were delighted with our experience. We will definitely work with them again.

    We called Scotts for an estimate on the install of an on demand water heater he have. He came out the next day and looked at our whole house plumbing after we described our issues. He identified that the plumbing for the entire house would have to be redone due to electrolysis and poorly done precious plumbing work. He provided us with an estimate the next day that was not gutte nearly as much as we expected.We called another plumbing company and had them look at our plumbing also to see what they said. They reported the same thing. We were looking at redoing the whole house. They never got back to us with a estimate.We went with Scott. He and Jonathan did great work, they communicated well when the were problems challenges or delays (which were havent found to be the case with most of the companies out here). He informed us ahead of time that the would be a day or two without water but he and Jonathan worked extremely hard and were able to get us our water back with only one day without.We will continue to use Scott for all our plumbing needs.

    Our injector pump went out on Friday night. Called Scott first thing Saturday. Asked a few questions on Saturday over the phone. Unfortunately he could not get parts til Monday.     We went from single sinks to double sinks in upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. It was a huge under taking remodeling both bathrooms at the same time.     Scotts PlumbingOn routine maintainence of our furnace, a leak in our water heater was noted. We called SP who was recommended. Scott called back very quickly. He set a time up to evaluate our problem. He ordered parts that were expidited so we would not have to replace our tanks. He knew the problem, saw it before, knew the plan. He got the parts asap and fixed the problem.He called us back. He called on his way. He is very personable and respectful, esp during CoVid.     Fast response, made one call Scott answered and came to check out On-Demand Water Heater Leak. He showed up and gave me a quote for a new replacement. We talked about different options. I wanted to replace the old for the new latest and greatest tankless hot water heater. The price was fair with labor and everything to get it done. Work was done the next day. Real satisfied with the whole transaction. Scott came out the next evening to check out everything and made a couple adjustments. I will use him again for sure.

Our pipes were frozen due to -20 temps, and he showed up first thing in the morning, gave incredible advice and found the location where the pipes were frozen. He helped thaw the pipes and a result was we had water the same day. Without his help we would still have frozen pipes and potentially a much bigger issue.Scottā€™s Plumbing is highly recommended.

    After a bad experience when the plumber we hired didnt pressurize the water lines until after all the drywall and texture and paint was done and flooded the house due to a failure to crimp a cold water line, we gave Scotts Plumbing a call. He crawled around in some very tight crawlspaces, did all of the drain and water connections, and stayed in his quoted price. We now only use Scotts Plumbing for our emergencies and challenging plumbing needs. Fast, friendly, and professional!

    We needed to make a half bath inti a full bath...so I went to the Better Business website. Scotts Plumbing popped up first so I emailed a question. The next day Saturday morning he called...Wow on Saturday. Saturday afternoon he came out and gave us a bid and started the job Monday morning. John his helper removed concrete (behind plastic to keep the dust out of the house) and in no time the plumbing was in. Scott also recommended a drywall man who was also excellent and a tile man who did an excellent job as well. I have all the business cards on the frig for the next project. ;-)

    I had to call a plumber for the very first time this week when my sump pump failed. I went full on panic mode and just started calling down the list. The big plumbing companies took my name and number and told me theyā€™d call me back but not Scottā€™s. He told me heā€™d be in the office shortly and asked if Iā€™d mind calling back in 20 minutes so he could check the schedule (this was at 630-640 in the am) I was desperate so I agreed. I called back at 7am and they had me on the list for a 10 am call. I was through the moon! Not only that they called early and told me they finished up early and were on their way! This was around 825 in the morning. I explained I had to drop my boys off at school and they patiently waited for me to make it back home. Jonathon was who came to my house to assess the damage. He took the time to explain it all for me and explain the options. Honestly I didnā€™t comparison shop except while Iā€™d been waiting for my callbacks and for the quality of service, time he took with me, and their overall response time theyā€™ve earned a customer for life. My sump pump is now shiny and new (itā€™s been a worry of mine since we moved in.) the peace of mind that he provided me was well worth it! I found out later, after Jonathon was already working to replace my pump that it was about 1000$ less then the overall cost from the big plumbing Corp that wanted my business.     Scottā€™s Plumbing did a great job replacing an old in house holding tank. The system began having issues with removing waste. When the system continued to have issues, they knew just what to do. They emptied the tank and found a hole (the entire bottom broke out) in the holding tank that was letting dirt in. This was causing the pump to become clogged. Once he diagnosed the problem, Scott was able to get to the job very quickly. To ensure cleanliness, his crew lined the path to the holding tank in a manner that would have made NASA proud. Long story short, Scottā€™s crew left the house very clean and the problem completely taken care of. Thank you Scott and your crew of professionals!

    We had two separate incidents in the last three months that we used Scottā€™s to repair. The first was a hot water pipe leak in our crawl space. Other plumbers wouldnā€™t come out for 2+ weeks for an actively leaking pipe! Scott came out the day after we called to do the repair. We had mold as a result of the leak and he was such a trooper getting the damage fixed. The second incident was an issue with a toilet. Again Scott was quick to respond and come fix the problem.
