I had HI-TECH upgrade my 100 amp service to a 200 amp service. The work was completed promptly, the 2 electricians worked the whole time they were here, and the job was completed in a workmanship-like manner. Being a retired IBEW member and talking with them I could see they were very well trained. I am happy with the completed project, plus when the inspector came out for the inspection he did not find any errors. I would hire HI-TECH to do work anytime.

We have a membership agreement with Hi-Tech for servicing our generator. This is so well worth the cost and they do a fantastic job. This service was performed during their last visit and one additional installation that is not typically part of their offerings. We asked them if it would be possible to install a Starlink satellite for us on our roof. In the past some of the best installation work at our home has been done by electricians and this time was no different. Nicki, our point of contact setup our install to coincide with our generator maintenance and Adam was our installer. Adam did a superb job and was one of the most professional and detailed individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would highly recommend Hi-Tech and cant say enough good things about our experience and their quality of work. THANK YOU!!!

Had them install all new lights in my autoshop and then had them run and repair outside wire and all new boxes at my home. There guys were Great and respectful. Done with excellent workmanship and they cleaned up very well. ( no mess left behind) I Can tell they take pride in what they do. Hard to find this kind of service. I hired them to install an outlet for my hot tub and they sent an installer named Steve. He was on time, and polite. I was not there so my wife was , alone with the kids, and he made my wife feel comfortable. He worked fast and efficiently. HE even did some extra work and did it all for a great price. way less than what I expected to have to pay. I will definitely use this company again becausea of Steve. I want workers like him working for me!

Hi-Tech installed a 240V outlet in my garage for an Electric Vehicle charger as a new circuit on an existing sub-panel. Everything went smoothly with the install, and they verified that the sub-panel had enough amperage to meet a continuous 40 Amp draw from the EV charger.2 months later, we smelled burning rubber/insulation coming from the garage subpanel - something had gone wrong and the feeder wires to the sub-panel had gotten so hot, they had melted the insulation and even warped the metal connections inside the sub-panel. Hi-tech came back out to diagnose what had happened; they replaced both the sub-panel and the feeder lines, even though those were technically outside the scope of the original work. They said they wanted to make it right and they wanted us to feel safe with the charger. After the repair, they tested the EV circuit to make sure the voltage & current were as expected.Big thanks to Hi-Tech (and Rusty & Adam) for going above and beyond to make sure our EV charger is safe and working again. Would absolutely use them again for Electrical work.

I called when I got up as the power was out and the generator did not kick in as normal when power fails. The crew was here within 2 hours and had it repaired within an hour. Apparently, the battery failed. We expected to have it replaced when they advised us to do so at a prior regular maintenance check. They were prompt and courteous as well as efficient. 5 stars for so many reasons.

We have had a difficult time getting an electrician to respond to our inquiries but when Hi-Tech Electric was recommended, they responded right away, came out the next day to give us an estimate and then we set up a service date. They handled several requests simultaneously and were very knowledgeable and professional. The quote they gave us for a whole house Generac generator was lower than the one other quote we managed to get and the generator was larger! They also replaced a radon fan and installed an additional outlet in a difficult place to access. Each electrician from the start to the finish of each job was helpful, eagerly answered any questions we had and they all did an excellent job. We HIGHLY recommend Hi-Tech Electric for any size job and we will use them again.

Purchased a new hot tub and was a bit nervous about having the electrical run up through the decking to the tub which would require holes being cut through the decking and tub, but I could not have had a better experience using HI-TECH! Called up Jason at the Portage facility (GREAT guy!) and he knew exactly what I needed done. He sent out Tomas who was on time, professional and took care of everything I needed - and then some. Absolute pleasure working with Tomas and I am happy to say Ive found a new electrician. All in all, I could not be happier with the guys!! Will be calling them again soon for a few more projects I have going.

From start to finish this was a fantastic company to work with. The office staff is completely professional and kind.I had to have a 220 volt outlet put in my home. Harlin came out and reviewed the job to give me an estimate to begin with at no charge. I decided to go ahead and cannot say enough good things about the service I received. He was early for the job. He cleaned everything up on the job and he came in under the original price that was quoted. The customer service I received was phenomenal!! So hard to find in this world today. If you need electrical work done, do not hesitate to call this company. You will be so pleased. We used Hi-Tech to install an outdoor hot tub. We played phone tag for a little while but once we got an appointment setup they did a great job running the line from the garage, through the basement, and out the back to the patio. The install went super smooth and everything looks very professional and finished nicely.

Maintenance on our whole house generator.Hi-Tech has regularly inspected and maintained our whole house generator. They perform standard maintenance as well as fixing a problem when it came up.The fellow who works on ours has been the same one since installation in 2010. He knows what he is doing.Scheduling is easy and efficient. Every one we have spoken with in the company is consumer friendly.

At first we have the issue about the power on and off ,we call some company but it hard to make an apptm,,there is one on the go but it looks like they dont know what their doing and the issue keep comg back,we call Hi Tech and their very responsive,very professional and very nice people,they come to the house and fixed the issue.The other one, the typhone hit the tree that connect to the power line the house,,Hi Tech is the best they relocate the pole and they doing a great job,Josh is the name of the guy ,,Thank you ..I definitely recommend Hi Tech..

Update: The manager reached out the next day and explained the situation and how things should have went down after the service call. I was thankful for the quick response, empathy, and care. She asked around to the lead electrician to see if someone else may have more experience with this so I do not have to go to someone else. At this point, all concerns were remedied and they deserve full credit for that as an honest trustworthy company. Thank you!We called in advance to ask if they have someone who knows how to repair a doorbell system on the electrical side. They said they do and we were happy due to the early time frame in coming out. The guy that came out was nice enough, but clearly he was not well versed in doorbell wiring as I had to provide a lot of feedback. He then asked for the chime and doorbell instructions (they charge by the hour). He then states that he thinks I may need a larger transformer. However, he goes out for about 45 minutes if not longer and gets a transformer that is the same size as the one I already have. Remember they are still charging me by the hour. He ends up saying, well I am sorry I was not able to fix it let me draw up the bill. I am like alright, I knew I would have to pay at least the service fee. But you literally did not do anything. Your advice was to try a larger transformer or see if the device was defective. The transformer was tried and did not work, was too big and the device is not malfunctioning. It either needs updated wiring or something to strengthen the power returning to the chime. I was charged for the full three hours and with nothing to show for it. Now I am paying another company. Be mindful before you request services from this company.
