I had a fantastic experience with ELM! I reached out looking to resolve an issue with the lamp post by my curb, and to my surprise, they were able to come out that very same day to take a look. Eric was incredibly responsive and professional, making me feel confident right from the start. Kyle, the electrician who came to assess and fix the issue, was also a pleasure to work with. He quickly diagnosed the problem and put together a clear plan to get it resolved.The work required some trenching, but the team left everything neat and tidy, which I really appreciated. They were prompt, efficient, and respectful of my property throughout the entire process. If I ever need electrical work done again, I’ll definitely be reaching out to ELM. We had an issue with our outdoor electricity to Nipsco stuff, they came within 30 mins of me calling, and finished the work within a few hours! They were helpful, quick and super nice! Definitely recommend them!!!!! The pricing was very fair! They were so quick in fixing our issues when other electricians couldn’t even come out for days! Very happy to have found them!

I called ELM on Sunday evening the day before Memorial Day. Called back soon afterwards and said he can come by Monday morning. I agreed. Showed up when he said. Took care of the breaker box problem and my outside outlets. Super nice guy. His daughter works with him also super nice. VERY REASONABLE PRICE FOR IT BEING A HOLIDAY. Will recommend for anyone that needs electric work. Thanks for being an honest man. Other companies wanted 3 times what he charged for coming on a holiday.

We were looking for an electrician to install 3 exterior Google cameras on a home we just bought. It was surprisingly difficult finding an electrician in the Michigan City area who knew how to install these pretty common items. One electrician in the area even had the gall to quote us $400 per installed item! We were so fortunate to find ELM Electrical. Eric had someone out the next day. We were so pleased with his knowledge, professionalism, and reasonable cost. Everything was installed perfectly. I was having a problem with my electricity in my kitchen and Kyle came out to fix it and also found another major issue that I am having which sucks because I just bought the house and I have only been in it for 2 months. Its pretty expensive to fix but Kyle did restore the power back to my kitchen, he was very professional and knowledgeable. When I do get the money to fix what they said needs to be fixed I will be calling them back to fix it.

Had a quick fix problem at night but I didnt want to mess with it. He came out at night told me the problem. A switch I accidently pushed and shut off the one wall in the kitchen. Dang. I was grateful for him coming out and putting my mind at ease that it wasnt something major. As idiotic as I was. He was a godsend. Now I was able to retire to sleep and get some rest. Very fair in my payment.

I contacted ELM Electrical due to an electrical problem in my home. Eric promptly returned my call and, after describing the situation, directed me to call the utility company because he believed the issue was theirs. He could have very easily come to my home, checked out the problem, charged me a nice fee, and I still would have had to call the utility company to fix the problem. Now thats an honest man with integrity who will be #1 on my list for any future electrical needs.

I called ELM when we needed a replacement for a remote 3 way switch. Eric researched where to locate a replacement switch and ordered it for us. Came back to rewire and replace the switches and also changed 2 light fixtures for me. I don’t do reviews really ever but thought they deserved one. Was having issues with a breaker popping. Called them and they came out that very same day. Actually told me he could be there within in an hour but I was at work and had to do a later time in the day which was awesome. If you want someone you don’t have to hound to come out, and does a good job with what they do, give elm a call. Will be using them again in the near future.

I hired Eric to install a new main circuit breaker panel in the new home my wife and I bought last year. The old breaker panel was too small and the wiring was like spaghetti. Eric installed a larger breaker panel that increased capacity for more circuits, cleaned up the wiring, and did so according to code. He also takes time to answer questions the customer has about the job. I would hire him again.

Ive used this company for electrical and plumbing service. I recently bought an older home built in the early 1900s that was a fixer upper to say the least. The company was a referral so I was skeptical at first of their abilities. I sat down with the owner and he came up with cost strategy without sacrificing quality. The wiring was cloth and a fire hazard, along with old galvanized piping and lead pipe water feed. All was updated to copper water lines and new wire pulled with new switches. Talking with the owner he stated hes a retired union electrician which is a bonus and the outcome proves it. Nice work.
