John is absolutely one of the best technicians I have ever met. Its been 110° in Peoria for a month and I contacted Sundowner to see if they could fix the 3 irrigation leaks I had found. John gave me an appointment and showed up exactly on time.He was friendly, cheerful, soft-spoken, professional and very knowledgeable. He actually found, and repaired 4 leaks, digging out, cutting out and installing thicker-walled tubing than was originally installed by the landscapers.He pressure tested all the repairs for leak tightness and they all passed. The bill was fair and was paid on the spot. I couldnt have a asked for, and recieved, a higher quality service.I highly recommend Sundowner Irrigation and am sure you will too.

We recently had a irrigation valve that decided to bust out and water was flowing to the street and so we decided to call around to see if we could get someone out same day. We realized soon that calling plumbers was a mistake since they dont really work on irrigation systems. So when starting to call irrigation specialist, we were clueless. Calling the first half dozen proved to be challenging because no one answered the phone or didnt call back after we left a message. I then called Sundowner landscape and Left a message and was soon called back by John. (5 minutes). He was professional and concerned and while we were talking he asked if I could send a photo of the issue. He said that he could be out after his next couple stops and would call 30 minutes prior, which he did. When he showed up he was prompt, professional and knew what he was talking about. He did the job of replacing the valve in short order and on top of all that I purchased a new control box which I can install at his cost! He gives a guarantee of 2 years on his work and needless to say I and my wife are extremely satisfied with John and his company. Highly recommend these folks if youre looking for irrigation specialists!

I called and spoke with John. Such a nice man. Was so helpful. I was out of his area, but he suggested I call Ewing supply and ask for someone they could refer me to. I have an appointment tomorrow. He sounded like he knows over the phone what needs to be done. This is the first time I have left a review for a company I didn’t use.Highly recommend this company for helping me even though it wasn’t with his company.

We were hearing loud banging noises when our drip system came on in the morning so we had our landscapers try to fix the problem. That didnt work so we gave Greg at Sundowner a call and when he arrived a few days later he knew what the problem was right away. We needed a new irrigation controller ( timer box ) and Greg had it changed out in less than 45 minutes (old unit was a Toro, new one is a Rain Bird ). We went with the Smart Irrigation System that he recommended...it didnt hurt that a credit of up to $250 is available to City of Peoria Utilities’ water customers who purchase and install a new smart irrigation controller. Greg is a delight to work with and we couldnt be happier with the results. We highly recommend Sundowner Lanscape Irrigation Services!

We cant say enough great things about John and Sundowner! He has done numerous installations and repairs of our irrigation system, including a new timer, as well as design and installation of landscape lighting. The quality of work is impeccable, he uses extremely high quality products, and he warranties everything. He quickly responds to calls for anything we need. He is courteous, professional, dependable, and honest. I would not consider using anyone else!
