We recently moved into a new development and needed 6 ceiling fans installed in addition to some switch relocations in our garage.Getting a quote was very simple & quick through their contact us page on the website. Dane was very helpful and prompt at responding.Chris showed up on time to do the work and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. I had a great experience with SoCal Electrical and Lighting. They installed electrical outlets (and helped move) a custom built kitchen island. On a second visit, they removed an unused ceiling fan and rewired the light switch to control a newly installed outdoor barn light. Great quality work and incredibly professional. Highly recommend and would use them again!

SoCal has been terrific to work with. We reached out a few months ago when we were having issues with our yard lighting and they were so responsive. We ended up figuring out the issue then, but this week we lost power to all of our yard lights. Trever came and was able to troubleshoot and get us back in shape. Very professional, trustworthy and responsive. I highly recommend.

Russ installed under cabinet lighting in our kitchen and bar area as well as a number of dimmers. He was an excellent electrician, arrived on time and got the job done efficiently. I appreciated that Trevor was able to get us on the schedule so quickly as so many trades are backlogged after 2 years of Covid. Id recommend So Cal Electrical and Lighting to anyone in the Palm Springs area who needs electrical work done.

Dane and his staff were highly professional, on-time and reliable. His electrician, Javier, was one of the most fastidious and conscientious workers youll ever meet. He arrived on time, explained everything he was doing and tidied the workspace at the end of each workday. Our project presented a unique challenge and Javier worked the problem until it was completely resolved. If more contractors conducted themselves like SoCal Electrical, the industry would have a much more positive reputation. I highly recommend SoCal Elelectrical and look forward to working with them on our next project.

Set up app to have recess lighting in kitchen and dining area as well as exhaust fans in bedroom. Javier arrived on time, asked me to explain what and where I wanted recess lighting. Very knowlegble, professional, discussed items with me but always continued working. When beam in kitchen would not allowed light over sink. Javier suggested others ways to do lighting.Always giving me options.Javier is the Electrician I will ask for the next time I use SoCal Electrical and Lighting.

The wind knocked out our main power source and the power line on a Sunday night. Monday morning I messaged Dane with SoCal Electrical and Lighting with my SOS. He came out later that morning to access the damage, scope of work and supplies needed. The next day, Tuesday they got a permit, fixed the damage and got an emergency inspection which was approved....all in one day. I would have never expected a company to go so far above and beyond as SoCal Electrical and Lighting has gone. Thanks Dane for the rescue!

Dane has done precision work on big elaborate jobs and takes the same care on small mundane jobs. Dane is knowledgeable, smart, kind and conscientious in every detail. Dane Harmon is the only electrician I will use for my own personal electrical needs.

Our business had an electrical panel go out during a recent heat wave. After calling a number of electricians who were not able to come out, we found SoCal Electrical & Lighting. Misty, the owner, was able to change some schedules and had an electrician to us very quick. Trevor was very professional and knowledgeable. The problem was pretty severe and would require extensive repairs. Trevor got us up and running, and kept us open for business while parts were ordered. Dane was very helpful in scheduling early morning and after hours work to allow us to keep operating while repairs were made. We really appreciated SoCal Electrical and Lightings flexibility to allow us to stay open until repairs were completed. The problem was fully resolved and we have had no issues since repairs were finished.
