    TJK replaced a leaky shut-off valve above my water heater and installed the water heater plumbing. I was very pleased with the work Benson and his apprentice performed. I also appreciate TJK coming out on a Sunday for the repair, which was a huge relief to have completed.

    Wow! I was visiting my daughter in Crystal MN, and there was a plumbing issue she had been attempting to deal with for months. There was a listing for TJK Plumbing Inc in a neighborhood online group to which she subscribed. This was a Saturday, and I was concerned that the charges for any work might be more than on Monday; however, circumstances dictated that we needed help NOW! The woman who answered the phone, Hope, was awesome! She assured me that not only was there no surcharge for the work on Saturday, but also that there was a technician available to come right over. Josh arrived less than 10 minutes later, was professional and listened to us describe the situation and our concerns. We needed to contact a flooring contractor to determine whether they were willing to take responsibility for the issues before we committed to additional work. Josh was able to diagnose and offer several solutions for us to choose from. He was clear and neutral, willing to lend his professional opinion without any pressure to choose one way or another. Within 15 minutes, we had a working toilet and options for any additional work we could take to the flooring contractor. The work was done quickly and everything cleaned up beyond expectations. I feel so good that I can trust my daughter will have a plumbing service she can count on any day of the week or time of day. Again, WOW and thank you TJK Plumbing, Hope and Josh!

    We had to purchase a new toilet and TJK helped us out with our questions over the phone. Trent came out and looked over the valves and shut offs and educated me on the and tear since our house is older. He gave us options for future fixes and was really informative and knowledgeable. He got that new toilet in FAST and it works WONDERFULLY! Really appreciate the service and the professionalism.

    TJK Plumbing responded to my communication in a timely manner. They were able to schedule an appointment for me within a few days. I had several concerns for the technician, Josh, to investigate. He did an excellent job addressing my concerns, sharing his findings verbally as well as physically showed me. Josh was also direct and upfront about pricing.     Had issue with my toilet and wanted to replace my kitchen faucet. Matt came out and we went over what needed to be done and pricing. Dan came out to help since the kitchen job was much more intense because plumbing under sink was a mess. They were both very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and kept me informed to what was being done. I have used TJK Plumbing for several years now and they really are the best. Highly recommend them.

    We had a miscommunication with Lowe’s about the install of our new gas stove (we thought we had requested the install; but got delivery only!). Lowes made it sound like it was going to be a couple of weeks. TJK was able to schedule and complete the install within 40 hours of my first communication, and on our first big snowstorm of the year! Great service and timely!

    Dan is THE MAN! He was so kind and helpful. We’ve had him out a few times to our house to fix a bathtub drain, washing machine hot water, and put in a new laundry sink. He is very thorough and informative about everything he worked on. We will definitely be going with TJK Plumbing again with all our plumbing problems.

    Our water heater cracked and leaked on a weekend. I was thankful TJK answered their phone on a Saturday and had a technician at our house on a Sunday to inspect the situation. They installed a new water heater on Monday along with a new water softener as they found our water to be very hard and the existing softener not working. The service techs were nice and did a great job in a timely fashion. Thank you!

    We had a pipe break while trying to fix a leaking bathtub faucet. We had to have the water turned off to the entire house due to no shut off valves for the tub. TJK was able to get to our house quickly and complete the repairs very timely. They added an access behind our tub and new shut off valves on top of fixing the pipe issue. They did all of this very affordable and everything looks great. Also was very friendly, helpful, and left no mess behind. Would definitely recommend TJK!

    Called TJK late on a Friday night. They were able to send Adam and Josh over the next morning. They ended up fixing two toilets, switched out the shutoff valves for all of the sinks in the house (they were seized due to hard water), and installed a water softener. They were both professional and explained how to care for the softener. Didnt think I needed a softener, but it should extend the life of all of the appliances that use water, so I am excited for that benefit. All of the work was done in a day and couldnt be happier! Highly recommend! My dog was excited to have them over!

    I had noticed a miscellaneous leak coming from around my laundry tub for awhile. I finally decided it was about time to get it fixed. I called TJK Plumbing and they came out that same day! DJ and Kyle located the leak and also noticed a lot of corrosion on my 20+ year old laundry tub. After explaining everything they found, they fixed the leak and were also able to replace the laundry tub. About 2 weeks later I had another plumbing problem. I noticed orange stuff coming from my softener. I called TJK Plumbing again and they were able to get Brad out same day on the weekend. He saw right away that my softener had blown and was starting to leak resin. He was able to install a new one same day and made sure all my lines were clear. Everyone who I had out was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issues.

    We had a water heater leak on Friday night. We called TJK and were told someone would be out the next day with a standard service call fee, no Saturday upcharge. Once we agreed to the work scope, work began immediately. Adam and his apprentice worked hard to get the water heater replaced, and even with starting work at 4pm, never once complained about having to work late on a Saturday night. All work had been completed by 8pm.I will absolutely call TJK Plumbing again for any future plumbing work.

    The most important thing you need to know about TJK: they have always been able to get me in promptly. No two week turn around, often same day and sometimes the next day.Ive used TJK about a half dozen times now and theyve been great each time. The most recent thing was a water heater replacement. I discovered my old one leaking, called TJK around 1pm on a Satuday and they had plumbers there about 3 hours later.Josh and Sid stayed until after 10pm getting the new water installed and up and running. They were both great and worked with me to figure out where to place the new exhaust for the high efficiency gas water heater. Thank you both!

    Brad and Benson! Couldn’t be happier with my experience with TJK. Literally 5 weeks of trying to work with other service providers in the area to try and address my corroded galvanized steel water pipes and being met with the most outrageous quotes and unreliable customer service (stay away from Fire Supression LLC!) I called TJK. I wish I would’ve just started here. I called them at 10:05am and Brad was at my door at 1:15pm the same day. Replaced my pipes the same day. Brad was respectful, courteous and knowledgeable! I am so appreciative of his work. The cost of the job was in the middle range of quotes I received, but their company service and 1yr warranty on parts makes it worth it. I would recommend Brad and TJK to anyone.

    Aug 31, 2024. TJK to the rescue. This is THE company to call. Easy to contact. Quick to respond. Great arrival time communication. Great communication generally. The latest:I love my home. Been in it 20 years. Nicely constructed generally. Very nicely done. But … for some (cost???) reason the builder used ABS under the kitchen sink. Not previously in the know, I discovered the issue when replacing the disposal which was irreplaceable without properly plumbed PVC. And the sewer takeaway was clogged. As it turns out the clog was over 50’ in.Saturday service on a holiday weekend. That’s amazing. And back in service with minimal disruption. Amazing.Adam, the technician, was professional, thorough, and delightful. Many thanks TJK and Adam.Different story / service … 09-06-24: it is said poor luck happens in 3s. Time 2: I happened to find a pinhole leak in the copper tubing between the main waterline and the water softener. TJ dispatched Josh to our home who arrived about 45 minutes after my call. His recommendation: replace most of the inbound, unsoftened, 20-year old pipe w a combination of new copper (where required) and corrosion-proof tubing. Josh was likewise professional, thorough, and communicative. I was again completely delighted.Thank you again!

    We’ve had Sid, Brad and Adam out to our house recently for a few projects, and all three did a stellar job. I don’t know anything about plumbing, but was comfortable asking questions, and felt like I was getting honest answers in return. At this point I really wouldn’t consider calling a different company for plumbing.

    Josh did a fantastic job disconnecting and old gas line and rerouting new gas line to get it out of the way of putting up our basement ceiling and solving my mystery of why my kitchen stove wouldn’t light reliably. I’m very satisfied with the results!

    TJK Plumbing was able to provide quick service two weeks in a row to repair a sump pump issue and pinhole leak in a pipe. Plumber Trent was on both visits and quickly accessed the problems and went to work to repair. The second repair was more involved as we decided to replace as much corroded copper piping as possible to fend off future leaks. Trent arranged for the city to come out and turn off our water from the street. He did a nice job installing new pex pipe and fittings. We were very happy with the results.

    Benson is the best! I just had TJK out for a leaking toilet shutoff valve. After inspecting the valve and explaining the repair, Benson asked if I had any other plumbing/valve concerns in the house, which ended up being beneficial for me.     We requested a quote for a vanity to be installed which required an onsite inspection to quote be scheduled out a week. $400/hr for labor is what we received and extremely high for what we needed done. We spent $60 (travel fee) to receive a ridiculously high quote, wish someone could have told us their rates, even ballpark, before we got a quote.Updated after initial review: TJK reached out and reimbursed us for the $60 travel fee!

They did quality work and I appreciate the different repair options that Josh presented. They were also careful around my sprinkler vacuum valve to not damage the plants.     We had a pipe leak emergency on Saturday morning. We had a call back within 30min-1hr, with a tech coming out within a 4 hr window. technician Josh was here within the first hour of that window and gave us quotes for both fixing the one leaking spot and for fixing the entire line from the main to our softener. It was excellent work, service all around. Peace of mind! Although adulting and spending that much $$ is never fun, it was a great experience. (I am told by family that is a master plumber in San Diego that what we paid is very reasonable, maybe less than what many others would charge). Great work TJK Plumbing!

Kyle has come out several times to our elderly tenant and is always courteous and thorough. He also goes above and beyond in relaying between me and the tenant, understanding the situation, and creating a plan for some larger issues. He has always left the place cleaner than he found it, and fully fixed the issues.Ive had a few calls large and small over the past few years and they always do a great job of describing the issue and working with my timeline and budget to fix and improve them.     TJK Plumbing is our go-to, and has been for years. In January, Brad from TJK Plumbing came out to repair a shower faucet valve, update the water pipes in our laundry room running to the basin sink, and replace the water softener. He was fantastic! Great sense of humor and incredibly helpful. We only had asked for the shower valve, but have had the other items on our list. He made time that same day and completed our list while making sure our questions were answered and we knew how to use the new softener. Last week our garbage disposal reached its end of life, and our first call was to TJK. Dan came right out the next day and got the job done. Dan has been out to our home before and is always friendly, patient, informative, and professional - youd have hardly known he was here; he was so quiet and efficient! TJK has great people and we trust them. Not that we want to see them all the time (Ha!) but goodness, when we have a plumbing need in our home, we are so thankful to have TJK nearby.

    I called on the Saturday before Easter Sunday and they had a plumber out to me on Sunday afternoon. On Easter! We had an inspection on our home that we are selling on that coming Monday, so it was very important this issue be taken care of immediately.     We cannot say enough good things about TJK plumbing. Dan and his crew have been AMAZING to work with from the start. The first week we moved into our new home, we had a flood incident with our dishwasher. Dan came in and told us exactly what needed to be done, gave us same day quotes for other things he recommended, and was able to get a few projects done all in a day!     I’ve worked exclusively with TJK plumbing for years now with both of the houses I’ve lived in. They have always been quick to come out for service, given me good options to choose from for my home repair projects, and have been professional and friendly. I recently had Josh and Kyle out for an extensive repair project and they were wonderful! Josh put in a very long day replacing the majority of the plumbing in my home.     Had a cast iron leak going on that caused a laundry tub to need replaced. Trent came out and did super clean work; even noticed a potential issue that I would have never noticed with the glue on a joint on another pipe but it turned out that was a vent pipe and not drain so not as big a concern.     I called TJK on a Friday due to clogged kitchen sink. They came out that day! Our technicians Devin N. was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained all possible remedies and the cost for each one. He explained he would start with the least expensive solution, and it worked! Yay Devin! We then talked about why our drain has continually been a problem and I asked about getting an estimate to fix the situation for good. ( We have a very long run to get to the main stack) This is something we knew needed to be done eventually. Devin had someone out to discuss this with me before he even left. When we decide to get this fixed we will definitely go with TJK Plumbing! Very good service and I did not feel pressured in any way from either person I dealt with. Great company!

    We have used TJK three times in the past two months. First job was replacing a leaking water heater in a hard to access utility room. Second job was capping and moving a gas line when we switched from a gas to induction range. Third job was rerouting the water supply and installing a dishwasher in our kitchen.Josh and the other plumbers have done great work, communicate what they are doing and why and leave the work area clean.Hopefully we dont need a plumber for a while but if we do we will call TJK.

    I was in dire trouble with my toilet no longer functioning as it should. At a loss who to call, my neighbor suggested TJK as they had used them with good results. I called them Monday morning and they told me that theyd get back to me with info. 20 minutes later they called and had a plumber that would come out to give me an estimate and repair if desired. I answered You most certainly can!.10 minutes later Benson was at my door. This is outstanding and an experience Ive never had with any other plumbers service.The work done was exceptional. Benson was very clean and paid close attention to any spills or detritus created. Benson also cleaned the drain that was causing slow draining. On top of that he was friendly and answered any questions I could come up with.I will continue to call TJK for any plumbing service in the future.

    TL;DR: A great experience getting a new water heater. Well be using TJK for all our plumbing needs going forward.When our water heater developed a significant leak, it was time for a new one. I filled out the contact form on the website, and I had an email response within an hour!The email response was clear that there was a minimum $55 travel charge, and then the plumber would go over our options once they had seen the situation. They were able to get someone to us the next day, with an 8 am -2 pm window. We were told we would get 30 minutes notice when the plumber was due to arrive.We only got 20 minutes notice, but he arrived by 8:45 am! I appreciated his care in wearing a mask properly and removing his shoes. Fortunately, it was pretty straight forward. He did some math and showed us the price for the new water heater. We decided to upgrade to an 8 year warranty. Quick, clear, simple.I was very impressed to learn that the new water heater would arrive in less than an hour! By the time I was free of my meetings at 11 am, we had a new water heater, the space was spotless, and we had an email receipt. I was working in my home office 10 feet from the water heater, and my calls were never disrupted.As the cherry on top, Kurt even made sure to properly close the yard gate, including using the snap lock we use to keep the dogs from opening the gate.My standards for a plumber are high, as we used my uncle until he retired.     I called for an appointment, which was available the next day, but was told they could possibly fit me in same day. Tim ended up coming out a few hours later and replaced the shutoff valve in the bathroom as well as installed the toilet fill valve and flapper I had already purchased. He then replaced the valve to the humidifier and found a leak in our HVAC that he fixed (condensation had been dripping for some time). Great work! Highly recommend!

But when he checked some more found out that yes there was a problem and he fixed and put in a new one for me. The black rubber washers had broke apart and were blocking the flow. He’s very knowledgeable and always does his job with a smile and great service.     While traveling we had a hot water heater fail (nightmare). I emailed TGK and with in 10 minutes had a response. They were able to send out a technician in 2 hours. Brad did a great job not only with the installation, removal and clean up but he took care of the warranty exchange for a unit they did not even install!     TJK Plumbing is a great company if you need emergency service! We had a leaking water meter under our stairs in our split level home and the who downstairs area under the stairs and bottom of the steps was full of water. I called the typical big names first (the rooters) and they either didnt answer or I was told it would be a 3 day wait! I explained I couldnt get the water shut off and then just hung up. I called TJK and they said they could get someone out the same night and 10 minutes later I get a call from their guy saying hed be over in like 15 minutes. He came when he said he would, looked at what was going on and then wrote up a quick estimate and when I looked it over and approved it, he got right to work. He had all the parts he needed in his truck and got it done in no time. He took the time to show me the busted pipe and explained what happened and what likely caused it. Hint: Minnesota = hard water. We paid via our bank card with his portable card reader and gave us a receipt and he was on his way. Super nice, friendly guy who clearly knew his stuff. Their magnet is on the side of our fridge for future reference!

    TJK was recommended by a friend because she felt they were fair and honest - a not so common characteristic now-a-days. I needed to find someone right away since we had a major pipe leak from our kitchen into our basement. Turns out when the home was built, the builders installed inexpensive, plastic push/pull water valves on all of the sinks and toilets.After looking at all of them, they recommended replacing them to avoid future leaks.     Were brand new homeowners and needed a plumbing company that seemed trustworthy and affordable. There were two issues that needed addressing: one was our kitchen sink would drain slowly when washing dishes for a few minutes. The other was our basement bathrooms faucet had a slow drip when turning on the hot water. Two technicians were sent over to fix the separate issues. Larry worked on the draining issue and Dan worked on the bathroom faucet. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and hard working.I was especially pleased with how the drain problem was solved: At first Larry tried jetting, but it didnt solve the problem. He then used a 100 drain snake machine that successfully cleared the pipes. Even though the jetting was at a higher price point, we were only charged the lower price for the snaking. As for the faucet, solving that issue would require replacing the unit, so we declined the fix for another time, even though Dan could have made the replacement on the spot. There was no pressure to make the fix, which was greatly appreciated. So the only cost for Dan was the combined $60 travel fee for both technicians. Not bad! Well likely use TJK again for our plumbing needs.

    We had just replaced our furnace. The company tied into the main water line for the humidifier using a Shark Bite valve. This valve failed and the pipes separated when we were not home. A phone call quickly had Brad to our rescue. He promptly repaired the faulty part and notified us we may have issues with the water heater because of this.The next day the furnace company came back and agreed with Brads assessment that I needed a new water heater. However, the furnace company would not be able to do the replacement until the next day at the earliest. They were not able to get anyone on short notice in the late afternoon. I suggested in seeing if TJK could do it and they agreed.After a phone call Brad was back to replace the water heater as well. We had hot water by dinner time. Daniel M was at my home on March 26 to unclog a floor drain in my basement utility room. On March 27 Josh was here to replace an old toilet that kept running.     My husband and I had a floor drain back up in our basement. We called TJK because we saw they had great reviews and they definitely delivered on that. The individual they sent to help us (I believe his name is Ruben, I cant read it too well on the receipt) discovered that we had roots blocking the main line out of our house. He wasnt able to fix it because of the way our pipes are arranged in our 1970s house, but he was able to recommend somebody that could help. That person came out the next day and blew out that line. But, after that, we found that the floor drain was still backed up! So we called TJK again, and Ruben was sent back to our house within an hour. The layout of our pipes was confusing and it was difficult to find the blockage, but he kept trying, found it, and cleared it out. We can use our shower, toilet, sinks, and dishwasher again!     After waiting hours for a no show plumber, called TJK, and had Dan within an hour to repair a faulty drain. Dan was efficient, explained each issue and resolution, patiently answered all my questions. The service was extraordinary in all regards.     This was my first time using TJK, and they will be my #1 go to for plumbing repairs in the future.I had a weekend plumbing repair pop up, and they were easy to get ahold of, asked detailed questions about my plumbing problem, and had a tech out to my house within 2 hours of my call.Kyle was my repair tech. He called ahead to let me know he was 20 minutes away. Kyle was professional and explained the possible causes of the problem, which services/repairs to try first (and follow up services/trouble shooting if it was needed) and the cost of each service. He was able to quickly repair my problem, double checked to make sure everything was working, and left the area clean when he left.Calling, scheduling and receiving the service call were all top notch. I would definitely recommend this company to others!

    This was a pretty simple faucet repair so far (Im not ready to say goodbye to 9 year old equipment yet!) and Josh was good at answering my many questions about how the faucet hardware worked. My husband & I found TJs business years ago (near the beginning, I think) and they have been very helpful in replacing a water heater, faucet valves and other parts. They do a great job and I will continue to call them!

    Kurt was very professional and on time! He gave me fair prices and alternatives for all the work. And most Importantly he wore a well covered mask throughout his time in our home. We have had good results with everything that was installed. I would definitely recommend TJK. And they came recommended to me by a friend as well.

    AMAZING JOB!!!! TJK and the plumber Brad helped me in record time! I was attempting to replace my bath faucet and developed a leak. TJK was able to schedule the SAME DAY, and Brad made it to my house in an hour and a half! The job was done within 1 1/2 hours . I will be calling TJK for all my plumbing needs in the future and wholeheartedly recommend them to friends, family, and anyone in need of their services!!!!!

    Calling a plumber to my home is usually a traumatic experience ie; last company flooded my basement! So, after a new washing machine couldnt be installed due to a corroded a hose connection I hesitantly called TJK Plumbing due to the great reviews. Im thrilled to report that Kurt and his apprentice came on time after calling to say theyre on the way. Kurt was was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He fixed the problem quickly and left the area clean. Checked and double checked that the repair would not leak. Plumbing repairs are never inexpensive, but I didnt feel he was trying to gouge me like previous companies have done. Did I say I was thrilled to find a competent and reliable plumber? Well I am very happy with my experience with this company and definitely recommend them! Believe the great reviews theyre legit!

    We have used TJK Plumbing a number of times and they have provided exceptional service. Most recently, they replaced one of our exterior spigots which we later learned created an issue with our water shutoff. Upon learning this, TJK was extremely responsive and immediately went above and beyond to remedy the issue in a timely manner. Our technician, Kurt, was very professional and knowledgeable. We will absolutely be using TJK for any future plumbing needs.

    Kyle was on time and started working right away. He explained what he was doing and the cost involved. He could not fix the issue at first and then went above and beyond to go ahead and continue to work on it until it was fixed. He cleaned up great and was very professional. I appreciated that I could also get a next day appointment.
