My furnace quit working on Sunday just before the cold snap. Cody came quickly to fix the problem. Unfortunately the 32 year old furnace needed an expensive part. Cody was very kind when he told me and offered options. I decided to go with a new furnace. Cody was great, he explained the different furnaces, told me about rebates and tax credits. The best part is that at no time did I feel pressured to make a choice.I was able to think about my purchase. Installation was scheduled for the next day. The crew was wonderful. They arrived on time, were friendly and efficient. They took the time to explain the new equipment, taught me how to use my new thermostat and said to call if I had questions or assistance.I highly recommend Deans. They made a frustrating experience pleasant.

They are a little spendy but that’s expected when they are coming to your house right away without waiting on an appt. We will be utilizing Deans again for emergency appointments in the future.

After assessing the problem they gave me a price and initially told me that they could replace the unit the next day. However, they called back in an hour and said they had a technician available and could replace it immediately.

I decided to get a second opinion and quote on what was supposed to be an expesive repair. It turned out to not be at all an issue at all and would be a much easier and cheaper repair. I had an 18 year old Furnace an AC that went out and was in need of replacement. I contacted multiple companies, and Casey at Deans was able to get me what seemed to be the best system for our family. He listened to what our priorities were and fit the quote to exactly what we were looking for. Their pricing and quality of equipment was extremely competitive and made it an easy choice for our family. The technicians that installed the system, Andy and David, were both awesome to work with and were extremely efficient installing the system. Once the system was installed, Andy took the time to run through the new controls, and maintenance I needed to be aware of. Casey followed up regularly throughout the process to make sure my family was being taken care of. I would highly recommend Deans to anyone in need of home services.

Great experience all around. Was able to easily contact Deans via their website. They followed up incredibly quickly to confirm the ASAP appointment. Their tech Colin M was able to get out to us promptly with ~30 min notice to be sure we were ready. He arrived and was professional and friendly from the get go. He took a look at our clogged drain and quickly put together some cost estimates for the various options, walking us patiently through what each option included. Once we had chosen, he got to work and dealt with the stubborn clog, putting everything back together neatly, even going so far as to wipe out the sink (which I totally took credit for when my wife noticed it had been done, so thanks for that Colin).Couldnt be happier with the service. Went so far as to sign up for their yearly membership to get %10 off on services and get the estimate travel fees waived.Would give seven stars if possible.

I had a wonderful experience with Dean’s Home Service for a drain repair. Communication was fast and easy—I was able to set up my appointment through text while at work. They asked simple, straightforward questions, so I didnt need to search for details or take photos.They sent Collin the very next day to inspect my leaking cleanout. He provided exceptional service, was incredibly kind, and quickly identified the problem. A previous company had installed an ill-fitting cleanout cover that caused minor damage, but Collin had the correct part on hand and fixed it within an hour. Yesterday morning I had a plumbing/drain issue and needed immediate help. Deans responded the same day. Ed and Lex came and worked on it but ran into some issues. They came back this morning with Eric who was going to use a camera if necessary. They got everything back in order. They all kept me fully apprised, were diligent in getting it resolved and made sure I was satisfied. I cannot recommend Deans enough and was so impressed with these employees!!!!!

You never want to have to buy a new air-conditioning unit but I cant recommend Deans, and specifically Casey, more. I actually actively avoid sales people in every facet of my life, but Casey approached the whole transaction with professionalism, expertise and compassion. He clearly cared about what our family needed and listened to what our financial situation was to help us make good decision. He was responsive to all our questions and things moved really quickly.Our install also went perfectly, shout out to Nolan who did it.Overall it was a great experience. God, I hope that I dont need to get an AC or a Furnace anytime soon, but I know Ill be in good hands with Deans.

I had deans out to install my new furnace and air conditioner. I unfortunately had to work but my wife met them and explained everything to her so she can understand. Now she is not tech savvy so I really appreciate when companies do that for their customers. Anyway I came home to a brand new furniture and ac unit . Which it looked like no one was even here they did great cleaning up and also did great installing them . I do know tech and furnaces and ac units I actually wire them . So when I say they did great I mean that whole hearted . I was also pleasantly surprised to see a new thermostat that was an added bonus for being a member. You can tell they take great pride in taking care of there customers. Would I recommend them absolutely I would. They even sent out a plumber at no extra charge. I had alot going on since I had a small fire in my home and was greatful they could make it out quickly and provide a 5 star service. Thanks deans and to the techs dale T for the great bid and service. Thanks to Dan P for installing my equipment and explaining everything to my wife . And thanks to Jake B the plumber for walking me through all my plumbing needs.

If we weren’t proactive this newer unit most likely would have issues in the near future. It’s like changing the oil in your car. Pay now or pay up later for major maintenance. Casey answered all my questions about the manufacturer, warranty, and efficiency. Also helped us navigate financing options so we could replace the unit now instead of waiting until next spring and hoping for the best. Casey was always prompt and courteous and incredibly patient.

5 stars doesnt do the level of service I received justice! I would leave 10 stars if possible! I have had to use Deans services a few times in the past year and I cannot be more pleased with the service I receive every time. We recently had a technician by the name of Ray, come out and help with AC and he is the man! Extremely knowledgeable but they all usually are. The one thing that stands out was Rays ability to explain and assure me that what they were offering was the best solution. Even when recommending things that may not be necessary now but just something to be thinking about. No pressure, no bad feeling like when you are being sold things that you dont know too much about. We are still trying to work out a solution for our AC but once we make the choice, it will be with Deans. Thank you Ray for your awesome visit! See you soon!

Fantastic service again from Dean‘s. I found a plumbing leak this morning and Dean’s made it happened to get out same day to fix the issue. Brian Brown did an amazing job of walking me through my options and helping me understand next steps. He was kind, courteous and very professional. He quickly gave me an estimate of work that needed to be completed, once I approved it, he was on the job. Extremely fast and the job was done with amazingly high-quality. Bryan was fantastic and I highly recommend working with him and Dean’s. We were very pleased with the service man who visited our home when our water heater appeared to fail. He quickly determined that the water heater was functioning correctly and had stopped heating due to a tripped GFCI outlet, probably caused by a recent power outage. He thoroughly explained that our water heater may be reaching the end of its life but was not pushy bout trying to sell us a new one. He didn’t charge for the visit. We will definitely call Dean’s when it is time to replace our water heater. We strongly recommend them for service.

Had a bad furnace and needed it replaced. Called up Dean’s Home Service and they sent someone out right away to take a look at my furnace that day. Dale was helpful and very professional and helped me buy a new furnace along with a new A/C Unit (my old furnace and A/C unit were both 17 years old).The technicians came the next day and installed the new furnace and A/C unit. Luke and Andrew were phenomenal. Both were on time and started working. I find it hard to coordinate estimates and even scheduling work via phone or even email. The first thing that drew me to Dean’s was their texting option. The communication was clear and fluid, quick responses. I honestly coordinated everything via text. I had everything scheduled and completed within 2 weeks of reaching out. Their techs, both HVAC and electrical were super knowledgeable and patient. Explained what we were looking at/ how it should look and were familiar with our local codes etc. dog friendly is an understatement! We have three husky Akita mixes and they were conscious to not let them out/ leave anything harmful on the floor (and gave lots of pets). We now have two new fixtures, wiring, outlets and panel! Financing was also quick and easy, all done in person. Couldn’t be happier! Can’t wait to utilize their annual service pa late as well! Learned a lot!

I was lucky enough to have electrician Grant and plumber Bennett come by the same afternoon. Both were courteous and clearly explained what projects were critical, quality-of-life improvements, and nice-to-haves. No bait-and-switch sales tactics or surprise charges with Deans, you get one upfront price for the entire project. Both Grant and Bennett were happy to assist with other smaller tasks and naive questions from this new homeowner that were above and beyond the initial reason for their respective calls. Ive heard of Deans impeccable reputation, and now Im sold (literally and figuratively). Thanks to Deans, Grant, Bennett, and the dispatchers on the phone for the reassuringly professional experience!

Edited: On 9/21/23 I noticed a leak from our main water line that was suppose to be fixed on 9/14/23, which is what we paid between $1,000 - $1,100 to have resolved. Something, I thought I noticed the day after it was fixed was that it was leaking, but got so busy with work and life I forgot about it. I called customer service today, 9/21/23 and they said yes this is serious … but apparently not serious enough to come a fix a leak on the main water line. I asked if the have a 24 hour plumber on call and she responded that all the plumbers were home for the day; it was only 4:00 pm. Wow, great way to show you honor the work you do that wasn’t done correctly the first time. Not happy with the plumbing work and terrible and uncaring response of taking care of a leaking main water line.We will be finding a new plumbing service after this experience. NOT IMPRESSED on how they warrantee their work, the urgency to fix something that they say is serious because it’s a main water line and definitely not impressed with their lack of urgency, and ignoring the fact that I asked if there was a plumber that was on call 24 hours.6/14/23: Both Plumbers were friendly and professional. They did a great job replacing the main water shut off valve and piping.We will continue to go with Dean’s Plumbing!

Josh was an excellent help! Friendly prompt service and helped us discover a plethora of fun goodies that kids and adults had dropped down our tub/shower drain for lord knows how long. He helped us understand our old plumbing system just a bit more, how it could impact future events, and what to look out for forward looking. We very much enjoyed his company, humor, and professionalism in digging out the treasures from these old pipes! Deans is an excellent service and was recommended to us by family. When we started having issues with part of it a couple weeks later, I called in, arranged an appointment for two days later and had the good fortune of having Bryan sent back out. He found their error (an honest mistake made while working outside in the rain!), fixed it without issue and charged us nothing.Weve used Deans a lot for various plumbing, electric and HVAC service and are so grateful to have found such an easy to work with company who stands behind their work. Id recommend this place to anyone-especially if you have the good fortune of getting Bryan to come out. The whole company is filled with nice, friendly people but hes been the best so far by far!

We had knob and tube throughout our home, as well as some code violations and an old panel (house was built in 1919). They explained everything to us, and notably they presented us with options as this was an expensive endeavor. On that note, we never felt pressured financially. Back in January my main drain was clogged and I hired the cheapest plumber to come auger it out. They sent over a different plumbing company the next day to do a video inspection and determined there were roots growing in my pipes. They quoted me a price for the trenchless sewer repair plus I got two more quotes and though none of them were cheap, I liked the friendliness of Tony Slagle and his description of how the process was slightly better than the other two similarly priced options. Plus Deans gave me the video they took of my sewer line for free where as the others only would if I paid them money. That went far in my book.Fast forward 6 months and my drain backed up again at the beginning of a party I was hosting. Trevor Epps came out the next day and was very personable and did a great job of cleaning out my main drain. Im having the trenchless sewer repair done in a week and barring any issues I hope to not come back and edit my review.

I contacted Dean’s on a Friday to request a maintenance check on my air conditioner. They called and set up an inspection for Saturday. Deans called on Saturday and asked if we would be home in about 30 minutes. Eric arrived in about 30 minutes. We discussed what we wanted, and he outlined what he would do. He did a thorough inspection and stated that the air conditioner was functioning properly for being 12 years old. He said there was nothing that was required now. He gave us a summary of what he had done and an invoice with no charge. Eric was friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We have used Deans for electrical, plumbing and hvac work. All of their employees have been very competent and professional. I highly recommend Dean’s.

I was very pleased with how professional my entire experience was, from initial outreach to service completion. Their communication at every step of the process was top-notch, service options were clearly explained and prices were evaluated prior to any work being done, and best of all, Edward S. was an amazing tech to work with. He water jetted our laundry drain and as a newer homeowner, Ive never seen it drain the way it does after Edward S. worked his magic on it!

Matt was my electrician he was awesome, he explained everything in depth, he went over my options with me he was honest about my choices. There was no pressure on which option I chose. He was stopped by my husband outside while leaving and stayed to explain the whole situation and went over each option with him all over again. He gets a 10/10 from us he was great.

Joe and were very candid and honest, and that goes such a long way in the services they provide. Peter gave me a lot of information to make a good decision about electrical work I wanted done. He also set me up with an associate, Bennett to address a water tank purchase. And last but not at all least Peter set me up with Ray for our HVAC system. He was so thorough with assessing our old furnace with pictures and its inefficient working condition. It’s a lot to have 3 different service people out but it was a pleasure and I trust the quality of work to be done. He explained how he was going to fix it and gave me different price options. He was fast and did an amazing job. I had a backed up basement floor drain in my house. I left messages for three different plumbers yesterday. None of them returned my calls. This morning around 8 AM, I called Dean’s. By 9:15 AM, Dean’s sent their technician Ralph to my home. Ralph inspected everything, and described all options. I selected the waterjet snake treatment for my drain. It was more expensive than a standard snake treatment, but I wanted the best because I don’t want my basement flooding. Ralph had the drain completely cleared out within an hour. Ralph is super polite, put on plastic covers over his shoes and was careful carrying his tools into my basement. Thanks so much Dean and Ralph!

4/8/24Kenny did a great job with HVAC repairs and explained the issue to me.ThanksThe second time Deans maintenance crew came too my house it was discovered my furnace heat exchanger had a crack in it. Deans sent out an estimating crew. The crew did an excellent job explaining to me all of the possibilities of what I could have done and told me about all the rebates that I can get back from the power companies and credits from the government. They were very professional and took the time making sure I understood all my options. I was very pleased with their attention to details.They came early in the morning as scheduled. I upgraded my service to 200amp and added a switch for running on an alternate power supply. Finished product looks clean and safe. They made sure I was trained on how to use a generator to supply my house with power. They removed all the old refuse.Very Pleased with the work.

A basement project unexpectedly led to a major rewire of our 100-year old home with the permit clock ticking. Had several Twin Cities firms come out and Matt bidded the project for Deans. This was a big job and not only was Deans bid competitive, but Matt took the time to explain every detail, identify where they would trouble-shoot, answer questions, and put it all down on paper. We went with Deans and Jerekiah and his team executed the plan just fine where it was easy but also where it turned out to be hard. We knew there were going to be some challenges but Jerekiah walked us through the options and executed the job. Over 7 days they worked a part of the house, cleaned up along the way, and then moved on. We would give 6 stars if that were an option. You wont go wrong with Deans for a home rewire project in an older home. Happy Customers in Robbinsdale.

He listened to my concerns, gave me a fair quote and fixed our broken switch, and the box for a light fixture that hasnt worked for sometime. He cleaned up even though I told him it was no problem. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We always trust the service we get from Deans.Adam was awesome! He walked me through everything from start to finish, looked at the system told me exactly what to expect. He knows what hes doing and was very kind and pleasant. We experienced a pinhole leak in the copper tubing near to the city meter. Aaron D. Arrived quickly and explained several options for the repair. Aaron had to get the city utility department involved to turn the water supply off/ on in order to complete the repair. Aaron was knowledgeable and very well mannered.
