The scheduling was easy and reasonable, the men who came to our home were knowledgeable, professionals who explained what needed to be done and were easy to have in our home while doing their work. We recently had a burner issue that took three visits to resolve, but they got it fixed and did not charge us for the extra visits. Its always nice to do business with a local company that is an integral part of the community.

Were very happy with our new boiler after a month without a heat in February it is so nice to come home to a warm house with hot water ! Special thanks to the lead installer Dan. He was great! Also the electricians did a great job . It wasnt the best customer service in the the office/billing department with the exemption of Harrison he did follow through in the end.

SNOWS service....ALWAYS GOOD ..BUT: Saturday, January 20, 2024 was probably the coldest night this winter. We had been away but that evening returned to the Cape with friends to find that our house at 46 Thayer Lane was uninhabitably cold. The cause was simple: our furnace was dead. Like so many others we were in process of replacing our old oil tank with a new double walled unit. This was to be installed on Tuesday, January 23. However, when the oil tank required a refill some days before this, Snows poured in just 50 Gallons. This was soon used up... but not before some thirty-years worth of tank-bottom sludge seeped into the furnace and plugged it up. We called Snows. After a while a harried, tired, over-worked and not very happy technician showed up. He emphasized how many calls had had received. But he cleaned the furnace and rigged up a temporary fuel system. This quickly failed so he advised us to go to a hotel. Thus, with our house guests, we decamped to the Sheraton on Rt.6. ($170 per night for each room!).I spoke to Harrison and he was very helpful. Next day Carl, your Chief Technician arrived and set up another temporary system with a sixty-gallon barrel. Carl was wonderful and we are very grateful. By Sunday we did have some heat (but our guests went home!). On Tuesday January 23 you installed the new tank as planned and now everything is going well.My suggestion is that when a new tank is scheduled the old tank should not be left so empty that such problems occur. Indeed, it might be best if tank replacements were postponed until the warm weather.Thank you for your service and help. I had been using another fuel company and felt they were not doing a good job so I called Snow’s. My furnace was running very poorly so I got Snow’s to come out (the other company didn’t return my calls), and the technician advised that I would have to take out some paneling to do the job properly. I was shocked and checked out the paneling and removed a few screws and he went to work. I’ve owned the home for nine years and that’s the first time the furnace was cleaned properly! He was friendly and really knew his stuff!Recently we needed a little tweaking on the hot water and it was handled immediately!

We have used Snows for our propane service for 15+ years and have never had an issue with them. They are always pleasant and easy to deal with Most recently, we called because the lid on our tank had rusted so it was difficult to get it off to check the fuel level. Someone came out that week to inspect it, replace the lid, and repaint the tank so it looks almost as good as new. We are very happy with Snows!

The service Snows has provided us lately and for 20 years, is wonderful. I cant say it is better than all the rest in that line of work, but they are tops with us. We had a number of heating troubles, and Snows guys were here in a jiffy to take care of the business. We get our heating oil and propane from them and the delivery is timely and reasonable.Couldnt say a bad thing about them.

Last week I went to my cottage and every time I turned on the propane heater, it would work for 5 minutes and turn off! I called Snows and they sent a serviceman out. He was on time, friendly and found out the problem immediately. He explained what the problem was and after fixing it, he cleaned up the area where he was working and was on his way. It is great knowing that Snows stands by their products and their servicemen are knowledgeable and respectful. So glad we have been using them for 25 years!

I live in Brewster. A couple years ago I hired Snows to install a new A/C system... I think its called a mini split system. In any case, weve been happy with the installation and operation of the system in summer and winter (heat pump mode). Sure has made our home more comfortable. Ive signed up for the annual system maintenance and thats gone well for us, too. This past week, Dan arrive on time and answered every question I could think of while servicing the system. Nothing to complain about, and Id hire them again if I needed something similar.

We have had Snows propane service since building our house more than 20 years ago, and have always had excellent service. Automatic scheduling and billing have always been accurate, and never having run out of propane; even in the coldest months. We also just had to replace our propane tanks, which was taken care immediately. The delivery and new hookup was done in a few hours, including removing the old tanks, and clean up. Couldnt recommend Snows Fuel Company more. They have been great.

We are always pleased with the speed that Snows responds to our service calls. We had an error message on our system and the tech was there within 45 minutes. They worked on the system and we were back up in an hour. The techs are always professional, well informed about our system, and very nice. We are pleased with the service and have recommended them in the past. We did have one problem, and that was that we were billed for the service which should have been covered by our service contract. This required a couple of phone calls, and the billing dept always is confusing. That error kind of takes the bloom off the rose.

Im in North Truro, which is one of those places people fly over or drive through on their way somewhere else. Im seriously fine with that. There are at least two other propane suppliers in this market. Snows is the one used by the man who built our house here in 2008. Being a thorough and frugal sort, I naturally decided to investigate the others, as ordinary due diligence. Being also a lazy SOB, I never got around to it.Recently, the heat went out in the house and I called Snows. The next day, they sent a technician who discovered a damaged circuit board in the furnace. They flew in a part from Texas, which fixed the problem. All this within a week. About the same time, family visited from the Mainland who slept in the guest room upstairs; they complained the rooms there were cold. I called Snows. They sent a [different] tech who found burnt-out ignition points in the heater upstairs - he showed them to me - which heater I didnt know existed. That was also fixed within four days. It also required parts they did not have on hand in Orleans.Everyone I spoke with, from office staff to on-call repair people, has been polite, patient, and EFFECTIVE. No one ever suggested a whiff of a hint that somehow it was all my fault.I have found, over the years, that service is the most important component of any long-term relationship. I will always confidently rely on Snows.

Richard in Service is outstanding. I have been with Snows for 40 years. Would never go anywhere else. Just had service call last week and work was done top notch by Mr. Cummings! Very satisfied.

Woke up one morning with heat in only half the house. Paul came out (this was on a weekend) very promptly, diagnosed the problem, and had us up and running in no time. Throughout the visit he was pleasant and friendly, and explained everything he was doing. Top notch!
