    Our furnace stopped working on Christmas Eve, and we were pleasantly surprised that a technician was willing to come out early Christmas morning. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. He got the furnace going but didn’t have the part needed to completely resolve the issue, so he came back again early the following day to complete the repair. The service was exceptional and much appreciated!

    The Whipple service agent was very prompt professional, communicative, and respectful. It was raining a bit and he put on covers over his shoes before entering the house and was very patient and careful to talk to me and give advice etc. was very useful. I appreciated his diagnosis and help very much. I decided to do the repair myself, and he help me to know which part and where to receive it or to order it.

    Sony came out to look at a gap from an install done last year. There was quite a bit of air escaping in places it shouldnt from last years install. Maybe if they came to check it in the spring like I scheduled a few times it would have been noticed sooner. I noticed a piece of tape had blown off and there was a big gap in the install. I appreciate Sony agreeing it could have been done better and really taking the time to make sure it was sealed properly. He also heard me when explaining I am a member and how I have had a few no shows in the past to have it looked at to make sure it is running properly. He did a tune-up while he was here even though in a text they said I didnt need one. Sony disagreed and did it while he was here too. I am glad that as a member he took care of me. I havent felt that way in other circumstances and appreciated his great customer service.

    We have had nothing but amazing experiences with Whipple. We purchased a new HVAC system from them last year and they made everything absolutely painless. We had Josh come out to check something and he was very thorough and put our minds at ease. We cannot recommend them enough!

    Jordan Tanner was very thorough and communicated with me better than any other service tech I’ve worked with. He wanted to do it right and have us feel good about his work. The job was complex and not cheap. Jordan worked hard all day and even past 6:30. Thanks to you Whipple for training Jordan and all your other techs.

    The office sent a text to advise who would be our tech and when hed be on his way, then Robert called to let me know a better ETA. Robert was absolutely phenomenal he explained everything about how the electrical and wiring is or needs to be and made sure I was following what he was explaining. He is super knowledgeable and doesnt beat around the bush, lets you know exactly what it is. Very personable as well. Will definitely be hiring him/them again for sure. Thanks for all your explaining to the layman 😉

    I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service provided by Stewart Davenport from Whipple today. He completed the work exactly as requested, and I am very pleased with the results. Stewart took the time to explain everything clearly and also ensured everything was cleaned up afterward. We will request for him again for future work to complete my basement. I highly recommend his services.

    Jordan did a great job cleaning the water heater and inspecting the Drains in the bathrooms and the toilets. He made his recommendations and even showed me where things could be a potential problem. He didn’t try to force or push anything on me, which I thought was great when I told him after everything was over with, and he showed me the prices of things I told him that was a little pricey for some of the Drain fixtures. He said that he would talk to his boss and see what he could do to lower things down a little bit, which I also appreciated. Which they were able to do. And the little things like putting on booties also I thought was a a plus trying to keep a place clean especially after Christmas. That’s what I like about Whipple. They take care of the details

    Ro came to our home today to perform the annual maintenance on our furnace that we purchased from Whipple about a year ago. He was personable and professional in all that he did. Besides the maintenance, he re-educated me on how to program our thermostat to the desired settings as well as re-lighting the pilot light to our fireplace.Recommend you ask for Ro when you have need for repairs or maintenance.

    Austin, the electrician, came to perform our electrical inspection and a bit of work we wanted done. He was awesome. He provided a lot of good information and he did the work quickly and professionally.

    The service was good. The tech did a fine jobHowever, scheduling is horrible and the customer service is bad. I was given a five hour window to expect the technician. I had to rearrange my day to wait. At the end of five hours still no technician. I got a call from dispatch saying he was on his way 90 minutes later still no technician. Got a second call will be there in an hour still no technician. Finally got a call saying he would arrive at 8 pm. Do you want a service technician at your home at 8 pm? Rescheduled for another day. Was given a call saying my technician would be there in fifteen minutes. He finally arrive 90 minutes laterYou would think they would be more considerate of my time and be able to schedule better. F rating on scheduling and customer care

    Our water softener recently failed and flooded our plumbing system with resin beads. We had a plumber flush our system, but suspected that there were many beads still stuck in our water heater. We called Whipple to have them flush the water heater. Jordan did the best he could, but it was impossible to clear all of the beads without completely disassembling the unit. Jordan was very helpful in explaining the various options we could pursue ranging from maintenance to replacement. Since the heater was near the end of the service life and had started to corrode, we opted to replace it. Jordan said he had an appointment the next morning, but could come in the afternoon and get us up and running again. He stuck to his word and fit us in the next day. He stayed quite late to finish the job and even went above and beyond to help us clear the plumbing of remaining beads. We are very happy with the service and would recommend Jordan for similar work.

    As a new home owner its always daunting finding out if an appliance needs service or replacement. In my case I needed my furnace serviced and Eric made sure be thorough while being incredibly kind, informative, professional and practical. After discussing all of my options getting a new furnace was the safest and most cost effective one and Eric made sure I was fully informed about this big decision. Im very pleased with the inspection and service provided by Whipple and Eric and look forward to using them in the future.

    Austin and Bob came to give me an estimate to put in a new 20 amp circuit. They were courteous and totally professional. They were observant and thorough in determining what needed to be done. I had already scheduled an estimate from another company, so I will wait to get that estimate before making a decision. I had no doubt that the gentlemen from Whipple would do an excellent job and I would be happy to have them in my home again.

    I have been a Whipple customer for years. Our technician was nice and knowledgeable. However, this time we ended up with an unpleasant experience and feel totally ripped off by the Whipple approach.In order to diagnose our electrical problem we were asked to sign in advance for a level 1 examination which cost $482. So basically I was being charged $482 without even knowing what the problem was. The inspection took less than 10 minutes and turned out to be a very simple problem which took another 2 minutes to fix. Rather than adjust the price of the level 1 exam to reflect the exam and work actually done, I had to pay the entire $482.The technician then suggested that we replace a junction box, which I agreed to. This cost another $121 for a box that costs $8 at Home Depot and took 5 minutes to replace. So, I ended up paying over $600 for a very very simple task that only took a few minutes to fix. I do not feel this was anywhere close to value for the service provided.Contrast this experience with another contractor I had just today. The contractor came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and then suggested a very reasonable price to fix it and I was happy with the experience from this company and that I received good value for the service provided.UPDATED DEC 17, 2024Jeff from Whipple Client Services contacted me to discuss our Whipple experience. He understood our concerns and the reason for not being happy with this latest experience with Whipple. He wanted to make things right for us and we agreed on an amount that I think was fair and reflective of the job. We really appreciate Jeff reaching out to us, wanting to understand our concerns, and most importantly take the steps to rectify the situation. I would give Whipple 5 stars for its effort to make this situation right with the customer.

    Only complaint: Our technician arrived 2 1/2 hours later than we were told to plan on. Maybe because these guys are so popular that demand is high?That being said, Gene was great. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, thorough and fixed the issue quickly. He determined that the issue was because of *two* problems with our heater and fixed them both (instead of fixing one, calling it good and leaving us with a still-broken appliance). We will absolutely think of Whipple the next time we need help!

    My new system runs more quiet and efficient than any system I have ever had. I have nothing but good things to say about the people at Whipple. We got 4 quotes and appreciated that Jacob Shelley was down to earth, didnt use sales tactics, and was very knowledgeable. He took the time to help us understand since this is our first home and first time ever having to replace our AC and furnace.The install crew were amazing. Kevin Cappello was very thoughtful and mindful of us. He left everything cleaner than when he found it and took the time to keep us updated. Kevin was very sincere and hard working. I also appreciated that he took the time to show me everything and teach me. I felt like he went above and beyond, and I would recommend both of these gentlemen to anyone.Thank you, thank you, thank you. :)

    Service and person I worked with were good, but there was a lot of misinformation upon my purchase. I was told initially that trim was included with the initial purchase, but once the trimming was done, they billed me $1200. They have me discount because of the miscommunication, but the fact I do had to pay for something when initially promised it was included, and only being told AFTER the work was done is very scummy.

    Donavon came to service my water heater. ( It is included in your annual service contract ) It takes over an hour to empty the tank. When Donavon was finished, he let me know the condition of the water heater. Donavon asked me if we had any plumbing concerns and let me know that Whipple also services HVAC and electrical. I appreciate that Donavon was very friendly and polite. One of the things that i like about Whipple is that when a technician is on there way to your house, the company messages you to let you the name of the technician and sends a picture of the technician along with a way to track the technician’s location on his way to your house.

    Ro from Whipple Service Champions was great and came out in the evening, at no extra charge. He was able to fully diagnose the problem with our heater even though another company had come and only partially diagnosed the issue. Ro came back the next day and took the time to make sure everything was working properly, he also took the time to explain what was going on and how he had fixed each issue. He also looked at ways to save us money as we made our decisions. It is great to have heat on our main floor again, thanks Ro and Whipple!
