I recently decided to replace a 14-year old water heater with a Navien Demand Heater. John Lockwood Plumbing sent James to do the estimate and later, the installation. We needed a new water heater last minute. I did my research and the one I found made a suggestion for John Lockwood as an installer. Well we lucked out. The installer came on time and did a wonderful job installing. He made sure to make suggestions of problems that he saw and was able to get them fixed quickly at the same time. We emailed John Lockwood on Sunday evening explaining that our kitchen garbage disposal was leaking badly. The office called us on Monday just before 8 am and scheduled someone to be at our home between 10-2 pm. We received a call from them saying they could come by 11:30 am. Jacob arrived at that time and spotted our problem immediately. He installed a new garbage disposal in about an hour. He left under the sink and the kitchen floor spotless. I called John Lockwood plumbing regarding my kitchen sink faucet not working. It really is inconvenient when you cannot get water out of your sink in your kitchen. I called John Lockwood Plumbing first thing in the morning and the receptionist was amazing and set up a technician to come to my home within 2 hours. Sure enough, within 2 hours the technician arrived. I opened the front door and there was the Lockwood technician standing there with a big friendly smile on his face. The technicians name was Jacob. HE WAS PLEASANT FROM GREETING TO GOODBYE. He was extremely professional and his knowledge base was very impressive. Within a short time period Jacob had my issue corrected. I was so pleased! AND I was surprised when Jacob gave me the bill... It was actually very reasonable. I would recommend John Lockwood Plumbing and Jacob to anyone in the future.

I called John Lockwood plumbing early last week after I woke up and found a puddle around my hot water heater. The individual (I dont recall her name) who took my call was very polite and kindly answered all the questions I had about my replacement options. She gave me an estimate and told me a tech would be there within 45 minutes. Jacob, the service tech, arrived right on-time and could not have been nicer. He explained to me what he was going to do and then went right to work. After finishing the tank replacement, he walked me through the new unit and explained the differences between the new and old units. A fantastic experience overall and now I know why I see a lot of John Lockwood trucks around.

Update May 2019. I once again called Lockwood Plumbing and they came through. The plumber spoke plainly, clearly and honestly about my options, with cost in mind, gave me the pros and cons of each. I decided to spend a bit more to upgrade the two spigots that have been a constant nuisance - and he got right on it! Also, super sweet to my dog. Ill always call Lockwood. Always.I have called Lockwood Plumbing 3 times over the last 9 years as a renter and as a homeowner. 2 small jobs and 1 that could have been huge! I got fast, reasonably priced service and helpful advice about how to mitigate ongoing issues. Most recently, Dean put my mind at ease and rest assured, if I need the job I thought I needed done in the future, they will get the gig.

Every 5 years our water heater decides to break and flood our basement. Instead of allowing that to happen again, we consulted with John Lockwood Plumbing on the tank less water heater option. They promptly sent their technician out to take a look at our current set up. Within 24 hours we had an estimate that was very reasonable. Just another 2 short days until the unit was installed. He was very professional, courteous, and considerate of our newly remodeled basement as he removed and installed the new water heater. We thought the handling of the water heater would have been a 2 person job yet Jacob maneuvered it up and down our basement stairway with its 90 degree angle well. We would definitely ask for Jacob if we ever had a plumbing issue again.

Late one evening we found a leak in our expansion tank in the basement and called John Lockwood Plumbing the next morning. We got an appointment for that afternoon.Dean came a few minutes early and replaced the expansion tank (which is a safety item for the water heater, even though theyre several feet apart). We had assumed its breakdown was a sign the water heater was also going, but he was honest and said that we didnt need a new one yet. But we decided to preemptively replace the 16-year-old water heater before it decided to break down or leak at some inopportune time, so Dean went to pick up a replacement and installed that, too, the same day.I believe John Lockwood is the plumbing company our contractor used to build our house, and we had called them once before for a plumbing concern. They have always given quick, reliable, honest service.

It still took some effort along with some adapters he had to make it work out. Jacob was extremely polite and professional (and he put up with my questions). We contacted John Lockwood Plumbing concerning a possible defective pressure reducing control valve, which was making loud noises when the water was turned on. Our appointment window was scheduled between 9:00-10:00 am. James arrived at 9:00 am and was able to confirm a defective control valve in about two minutes. He took the time to explain the function of a pressure reducing control valve and why it is important to a homes overall plumbing. After presenting me with all of the information necessary to make an informed decision, I decided to have the defective pressure reducing control valve replaced. James had the new valve installed and pressure-tested for any possible leaks in about fifteen minutes. James was very courteous, professional, and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of plumbing. He was an absolute pleasure to meet and his workmanship is top-notch. James is simply THE BEST OF THE BEST! The price that we paid for the service call and installation of the new control valve was less than half of a written quote from another local plumbing company!
