Universal gave me great service on rewiring my kitchen. They arrived when they said they would. Work was neat and they cleaned up afterwards. They gave me a reasonable bid and didnt charge a penny over. Electricians were friendly and explained any questions that I had.

It can be difficult to find an electrician who will do low-voltage wire (CAT6, ethernet, etc) in a residential home in Omaha. Trying to fish through walls, etcetera. My project was a whole-house ethernet install, and Ultimately, I went with Rick and the group. Rick came out to give a look, and quoted high and low ranges (I hadnt quite decided how much to go for). But ultimately, went with the whole house, plus an extra socket install. Fair price, professional group. A scheduling hiccup was the worst bit, and that was quickly resolved. They managed to do the entire thing in roughly half a day. Would recommend if youre searching for this type of job. Did I mention, they clean up after themselves, and are more than willing to explain any part of the process?

Your electricians were a lifesaver for my wife and me. Our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were going off a second time. I could not find the problem. I contacted your office and they had someone out very quickly. They were very helpful and gracious. They were able to find a lose wire, as well as a faulty fire alarm. You were very reasonable. The electrician even asked if they could put the ladder away in the garage. Im 69, so Ihave to be careful. Thanks, you were very friendly as well!!

After realizing, I was in over my head wiring from a sub panel 2 - 50 amp breakers to a swim spa I had just bought. I called my usual electrician Dave from CK electrical to see if he could hook up into My wiring from the sub Panel to my swim spa/hot tub motors. He said, based on my timeline he couldnt but gave me a strong recommendation to call Rick from Universal. They did not disappoint. Rick sent over two of his electricians who tightened up my electrical wiring and added a grounding rod. Made the electrical connections to my Spa motors. They gave me some pointers and did the best not to offend what little wiring I did do.. Lol. These guys are well versed in Spa electrical hookups and not a lot of electrical companies are; Believe me!

Universal installed a 240 V outlet in the garage for an EV charger. They were fast to give an estimate, schedule, and perform the install. I especially appreciated that they fished above the basement ceiling instead of cutting a huge trench to run wire. Would recommend to anyone!

Eddie was absolutely awesome! He did a great job, and did everything he could to make sure we had power. We lost all power in our house, one of us pregnant, small children, and animals, as well as extended family. One of us works from home and we depend on that income to keep our house, so going without power is a HUGE hit to us. Eddie went above and beyond the usual service. I honestly dont know what we would have done without his help.

Small job, no particular urgency. Merely fixing my light switches that I screwed up. Called the company, they recognized that I did not require an after-hour call, but fortunately a technician (turned out to be Joe) was available. Joe arrived within maybe 30 minutes, after a call indicating he was on his way. The job was small, but nonetheless Joe was courteous, conversant, and most importantly, thorough. He made a couple recommendations, fixed everything within about 30 minutes, and left everything better than he found it. Joe speaks highly of the company, likes what he does, and showed complete empathy with this bumbling homeowner. This is the only electrician Ill call moving forward (we live near 120th/Pacific), and I would recommend you consider them, as well. My experience was a 5 - hands down.

Did great work, efficiently and professionally, when they were here. They had to leave the job 3/4 done because it was Friday and 4:30 p.m. They came back the next week to finish but left after a half hour and didnt finish the job, still had a small room to finish.
