    Last week I called Chad (CK Electric) to schedule an appointment to change a three-way switch to a timer, and today David came. He did an outstanding job. He arrived earlier than expected, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout the entire process. Remarkably, he completed the entire job within 30 minutes, giving me peace of mind with my outside lighting.David was also incredibly helpful in recommending a better switch than the one I had purchased from a local hardware store. The price difference was minimal, but the new switchs brand and functionality were far superior. I was grateful that he had a better switch available in his truck.Thank you, David, for your excellent service and for going above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the job!

    CK Electric is incredibly accommodating – I had to reschedule twice, once due to my schedule conflicts and another because of a Nebraska winter storm. Justin and Chad were both not only friendly but also highly professional. Their communication system is top-notch; as soon as I schedule or reschedule, I receive a prompt text and email confirmation. Its a remarkably efficient system!Today, David and Dan, came to address my sellers’ electrical issues. They helped address issues found during the house pre-inspection. They were both friendly, courteous, and professional. They completed the entire job in just a few hours. Before starting, they patiently walked me through their process, explaining the pros and cons of the concerns. This educated my seller, enabling him to an informed decision on the best approach to fix the problem.     Dereck and his Team did a fantastic job. He came out initially to do a quick assessment and got me on the schedule right away.     We had Derek from CK Electric install a 50 amp inlet on the exterior of our house and an interlock kit on the panel inside. Now, well be able to safely run multiple items with our portable generator during the next power outage. Very reasonably priced and extremely professional.     Derick and Adam arrived promptly within the stated time. They first listened to what we were wanting to achieve connecting a new Ecobee doorbell camera to our Ecobee thermostat. Then they went to work and achieved this goal. They also attached an additional chime that we had previously purchased. CK Electric is also giving us additional information and quotes for installing a back door camera. Derrick is excellent in looking at possible solutions. I completely trusted both of these Electricians. I felt the costs were fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to others who need electrical work.

    They were going to repair my electrical service that was damaged when a heavy limb fell on my powerline. My meter was ripped from the wall and the power mast was bent.Then ended up replacing all of the parts for the same price that they bid for repairs. Their initial bid was less than 1/3 the next lowest bid and they did twice the job that they agreed to for this same price.I chose them on the basis of their very high rating on Google reviews. I was expecting excellent and they provided at least double what I expected.

    This company answered the phone right away. They gave me a rough estimate over the phone. They were able to schedule my project within a week of my phone call even though there was a holiday weekend in between. The gentlemen who came out were courteous.     I called 10 electricians in total for estimates and the guys at CK Electric were the best experience out of them all. They answer all of my questions and gave me a great price. The other companies tried to sell me stuff I didnt need for $1500 +/- more than what I paid CK.In the end, they didnt even need to use a component, which means they delivered for less than the estimate quoted to us. How often can you say that?We went with this plug to hook up our generator to our house, because it has dual use.     I had a complicated electrical swim spa install to have done requiring two 50 amp hookups for a dual swim spa/hot tub in Oct 2022. I had called some of the better reviewed companies in the Omaha/Bellevue area. What I liked about CK compared to the rest is they acted like they really wanted my business and were very personable. Dave from CK was extremely knowledgeable. Even gave me a detailed breakdown of what the costs would be while doing the estimate. I had had Hoffman come out and told me estimate would take about a week. Thats not going to win you the job. Dave and his apprentice came out and ran a dedicated line from my main and hung a sub panel. Great work at a fair price. Dave is an Awesome electrician Highly recommend this company

We are finishing our basement and were able to get an estimate from Justin without them even coming to the house, which saved a lot of time.     1/10/24 - It has been since last Spring since having electrical problems, but my furnace quit during the night again last night and Furnace Co. came and said I needed to have electrical company come as problem may be a breaker that kept tripping in my breaker box. I called CK Electric and they came within an hour of my call. Replaced a different problem breaker than last time with a new and stronger breaker and checked board. Again, CK Electric handled this emergency need quickly to help get my furnace running. There quick service and sincere kindness was so appreciated. Dave from CK contacted me that night to check and be sure furnace was working alright and that I was not experiencing additional breaker problems from the furnace. A caring company for sure.     Ive used CK Electric three times for various projects (outlet installs, light installation, panel troubleshooting) and the technicians are always very polite.My first piece of feedback is that two of the three times, I have had to clean up pieces of wiring and insulation that have been left behind on the floor. Its not a huge deal, just one of those little things I notice.My other feedback is that I had a wireless outlet installed to control a new outdoor fixture. The technician screwed the plate directly into the drywall and it immediately started to wiggle loose. Thankfully there wasnt enough drywall damage at that point that I was able to successfully install drywall anchors and secure the plate to the wall properly. I feel it is common knowledge to not screw directly into drywall without an anchor.

    Dave from CK Electric came to my house today on an emergency call. He was in between jobs and made the time to make it to my house and help with my bathroom outlets. I talked to him on the phone on his way here and he explained to me that either a breaker was tripped or the button needs to be pushed in on the outlet. He was here within 15 minutes… come to find out… I didn’t fully reset the breaker like he asked me to. He was here for 5 minutes, and double checked to make sure that everything worked after resetting the breaker since I didn’t push it in all the way and he told me “Merry Christmas!” and didn’t charge me ANYTHING!!!! I will recommend Dave, the service manager at CK Electric to all my friends and family! These guys are AWESOME!!

We needed an electric heater installed in the garage and it was a little more involved due to the electrical box being in the basement clear on the other side of the house.     I called them out to take a look at my current consumption to ensure there was enough capacity for a new A/C unit addition.     We contacted three electrical companies to get estimates for some electrical work we wanted to have done. Our estimate from CK Electric wasnt the highest or the lowest but it was the most detailed with the work that we requested and the work they were going to perform.They showed up with a five man crew the first day and went right to work. They were very cautious to cover up our hardwood floors and and anything they thought might get dusty during their work. They were sure to keep us informed as they went about their work.When they got into our finished garage to install additional outlets, 220V and a sub panel everything was surface mounted and all the wiring was in conduit that was perfectly bent and leveled prior to mounting it on the walls.Dave was the supervisor for the crew and did a very good job as they all worked together.They worked in a very professional manner and were sure to clean up after they were done with their work.We would definitely recommend them for your electrical work and we would use them again if needed.

    CK Electric is fantastic. I called asking to have a couple of what I thought were uncovered outlet boxes in the garage hooked up and our breaker panel inspected since the move in. They were able to come out and help within a couple days of calling. Dave cleared up that the garage outlets were actually removed light fixtures that I can cover up myself for just a couple dollars without worry, and helped me make sense of our breaker after ensuring everything was hooked up correctly. We received an estimate for updating our breaker at some point, as its an old and somewhat unsafe model, and we will most definitely be going through CK when we do.     I love to give reviews for great service, because its hard to find. Dave just came to my home and installed can lights in my kitchen. He came out and looked at the job and gave me a price and explained what they would need to do and gave me a price. He explained it would change if they didnt need to install as many as I wanted or vice versa. He came today to do the work and did exactly what he said he would do. We didnt do as many lights as I thought and he took that off my bill. He took down the box light that was there he even swept up the mess from the drilling!!     A fantastic experience with this company! Dave and Dan showed up on-time and were super personable. I had a basement circuit breaker that kept tripping immediately when I would try to reset it. It was like that for several days. When they came out it was no longer doing it. :-) But they checked things out and did find one GFI in a back unfinished room that had been tripped at some point and reset it. Also, they said because there really was no problem at this point that they could determine that they were not going to charge me. I believe that is an awesome way to handle this situation and I will definitely be using them in the future.

I was charged the quoted price even though they had to return. It looks great. I’d recommend. This was over a 12 foot entry way 2 story and there’s no way I could have done it.

    CK Electric installed recessed can lights throughout the main areas of our home, and we are unbelievably happy with the job they did and the result! It feels like we have a whole new house!     I would highly recommend this company! We put on a new addition and called them after 2 other companies never showed up. I called the office and spoke with Justin about what we wanted done. Chad came out a few days later to give us a bid. Within a week Chad and 2 others came and installed everything and had it up and running by midday. Chad even suggested a few things we never thought about. Very professional, affordable and dependable! They will be the first person we call for any future projects!

    Highly recommend CK Electric!! We had a not great experience with a prior electrician, leaving us with a non-functioning front entry light.     Ive waited a year to post this review. CK Electric came out about a year ago to inspect the wires in my attic to determine if I could add more insulation over the wires. Despite all the scary stories I read online, the electrician from CK Electric said the risk was relatively low, so I did it. Good news—its been a year later and Ive had no issues!Thanks CK Electric for giving me a real-world answer so I could move forward with my project.

    Chad and his team mounted our TV for us above our fire place and did a great job! We live in a house built in 1924 so we needed an outlet installed on the wall above the fireplace. They made sure we were completely happy with the install and even came back when we wanted the TV raised a little. I appreciate Chads responsiveness and willingness to work on a smaller job, as most electricians wouldnt even return my call. They showed up when they said they were going to and cleaned up their mess before leaving. Great service and I highly recommend CK Electric!

    Called at 1:35pm on a Friday afternoon and they had someone out to me within a 15-20 minutes! Justin and Dave were both so nice and willing to do whatever they could to help! Our AC has been out for going on three days and Dave knew what was wrong and fixed it within a half an hour. I’m posting this at 2:30 and Dave’s been gone for about 10-15 minutes! He even offered to put together the AC which the Standard technician left apart. All in all a great experience!!

    Chad and his team did an outstanding job for us. We wanted an additional outside entertainment area. Put up ceiling fan and TV and mount under our deck. Cant even tell it is a add on. Also had them divide our deck and porch speakers and also got our TVs hooked up to ceiling speakers that were in the house. Price was right, work was done professionally and they cleaned up great!
