After lots of research, I selected Generators for Sale to install our whole house Generac generator. I was extremely impressed with the prompt contact and ongoing communication from Gene on the site survey and sales process. Gene addressed every question I had. Dre and Scott were the installers and they did a wonderful job placing the unit where we discussed and connecting the unit just as Gene explained. I could not be happier with the whole project! I also selected the remote monitoring capability so they can monitor the system remotely and proactively address any problems before it even becomes a service interruption. I should also mention service after the sale. I did talk to other customers and everyone I contacted had nothing but praise for the ongoing support and quick response.

Technically, Generators for Sale did a great job. They know their stuff, and the install crews did a great job. My only concern had to do with scheduling. After a big storm, there was a significant backlog. During the sales cycle, there was no indication of how long it would be, and it was quite a while before they could tell us when it would be. We didn’t mind the delay, but communication could be better.

The Install team for a Generac 26Kw standby generator from Omaha Generators For Sale did an outstanding job. The work included installation of approx 120 feet of flexible natural gas pipeline from the outside meter thru the basement furnace and storage area and then above the drywall ceiling in the finished basement. They were able to do so and only had to extend an existing ceiling access site by a 9”x 9” cut. The electrical work was professional and neatly completed, including install of the transfer panel next to the existing electric meter. The power to our home was only off for about 3.5 hours during the install. They completed the entire job in about 5 hours including a total cleanup of the site and activation and demonstration of the generator. The installers (Angel, Shamus, Josh and Al,) were all very respectful and totally professional during the entire process. I Would recommend this company to anyone who is considering the purchase and installation of a residential generator.

We had a great experience with Gene and his team from Generators for Sale when purchasing our whole home generator. Gene was very thorough and kept us informed every step of the way. He was personable, knowledgeable about the product, and worked around our schedule to answer questions and keep us informed. Something I especially appreciated was the text I received on install day prior to the techs arrival. This text was complete with name, photo, arrival time, and the real time location of the technician as he was driving. The first thing on the agenda was a walk through together to make sure we were on the same page before they began working. All of the install team members were polite and kept me informed. They made sure things like pilot lights were lit and everything was in order before one last walk through at the end of the install. An overall fantastic experience.

They came prepared with everything they needed and were very neat. You would not have even known they were here when they wrapped up. As for the Generac system, its amazing to see how fast it goes to work when the power is off. My mistake!Adam greeted me at the door and I joked about the irony of a generator sales location that had no power (here all night, folks!).I was looking for a portable generator, something to get us by until power was restored. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but considering the side of beef I have in the freezer, this was a cheaper option. Right now I have the kitchen fridge, chest freezer, and portable AC unit going. And its been 15h since my last refueling with which I am impressed. I’ve had my whole house standby generator installed going on several years and thought I’d give my 2 cent opinion. I made the right call getting one since this neighborhood has lost power on different occasions. The only mistake I made is having the transfer switch put outside which meant anytime a breaker tripped going outside in the rain or tracking through the snow to reset it. Since then I’ve had it moved inside and highly recommend those planning on getting a standby generator to do the same.

I shopped around on the installation costs and when the estimates came in, not only did specify parts and labor needed that the others did not specify, they came in cheaper. Their work quality was outstanding as well. They had to replace my electrical panel to meet code and to upgrade it. When the city inspector came he passed their work with zero write ups. I was extremely pleased with the work done. The generator does a self test each Monday as scheduled and they hooked it up to my wifi so we can monitor it remotely. All in all, I’m very pleased.

We purchased a 22kw generator (propane powered) from Steve Baum a little over 2yrs ago. Primary reason was power lose regularly at least 2x yearly in rural Sarpy County. We also purchased the maintenance plan with the unit.This team was the most professional and open allowing for us to do as much or little preparation work as we wanted.The installation team was very professional even offering tips to insure longevity and optimal performance of the unit. The team is also very prompt in performing annual maintenance.We have only experienced one issue during the weekly test cycle when my unit would not start. I called and was provided detailed tips to check my propane level and regulator. The regulator was frozen due to freezing rain and cold weather. The simple thaw technique did the trick.As for use of the generator, we have had the generator take care of our needs at least four times since the unit was installed each time perfectly as expected. The longest period was approximately 5hrs this spring. There is nothing like peace of mind (especially at night) when your power goes out and the generator starts 15 second later!!!If you are thinking about installing a generator, look no further than Generators For Sale as you will be treated as family.

We are all seniors in our home and there are safety issues that arise when the power is out, not only with having heat and air conditioning, but with the safety of moving through the house with battery operated lighting.
