We love working with Dennis Electric! Their admin, Kellie, will work with you via text, which makes things super easy for scheduling if youre at work and cant pick up the phone. Their pricing is competitive, lower than quotes from competitors (they quoted me $700 when a competitor quoted me $950). Most importantly, their work is quality and timely. I have old electrical at my house (house was built in 1950), and theyve replaced several fixtures (both outside and inside) with no issues. Most recently, we were originally scheduled for 9/27, but Kellie texted us and let us know they had an opening ahead of schedule on 9/9, which allowed us to get the work done before our new tenants move in! Super happy with the service!

Ive been using Dennis Electric for a few years now. In our old house Dennis came out and was super pleasant and friendly to us but definitely cussed out the last person that did the wiring in our 100+ year old house for about 2 hours. He instantly became beloved by me.When we moved we called a friend of a friend to finish our basement with can lighting, outlets and switches. He left us high and dry when he texted us that he was leaving for a 2 week vacation to Japan mid-job. We called Dennis Electric to come finish the work.Not only did they get everything done in one afternoon that the other electrician said would take 3-4 more days to finish, but they also did it at about HALF of the quoted cost of the remaining work from other guy. Lesson learned on my part. I wont be using anyone else but Dennis in the future.I dont think Dennis actually makes house calls anymore. Maybe hes retired. His son is usually who comes now who is no less pleasant or hard working. I just miss Denniss cussing every now and then.

Dennis was fabulous! I was getting the run around from the HVAC company on my air conditioner. They came out twice and couldnt figure out what was going on. They told me to get an electrician. I found Dennis- he is very highly rated, and there is a reason for that.Dennis figured out and resolved our issue very quickly. He also found that the HVAC company installed a whip that wasnt rated properly, so he installed the proper one ($200 less, too!). I waited to post this to see if the HVAC company would agree. They did, and they refunded me.So, Dennis = Aces! Prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable and reasonable prices.

I want to thank Dennis Electric for all his crew did. I made a lot of calls after the storm most calls went unanswered or didn’t call back until days later. Dennis’s group picked up right away and had Dennis out not more than a few hours later. He also had his team show up right after the job they were on which was only an hour later. They had everything up and running within an hour and a half which for all they did was awesome. I had to have everything redone from the roof to the panel box for the storm burned it all up. Quick efficient and was a great price oh nice and friendly from the office staff to the guys that did the job. Would have them back in a heartbeat and will only recommend them

I chose Dennis Electric for the remodel project of my new home - installation of recessed lights for every room of the first floor (27 lights in total), and could not have hoped for a better experience. For the project I was particular about the type of lights I used, something that is not common or easily accommodated by other electricians Ive had bids from. Dennis took the time to make sure the lights I wanted to use was compatible with the cans, Kelly was very prompt, thorough and communicative with scheduling. Matthew and Dylon were both very professional, courteous and considerate, not only did they overcome challenge with positioning lights around plumbing in the ceiling, they also made the repositioning and installation of a new light fixture streamlined and easy. The whole project was done well within the estimated time with room to spare, and many considerations were made for minimal amount of mess in the home. All in all Im very happy with my first experience with Dennis Electric, and Id not hesitate to use them again for any future jobs.

I am so happy to give Dennis Electric a 5-Star rating. Yesterday was the first time I used this company. I called on a Monday morning a 8:28 a.m. with two relatively small jobs for an electrician. I did not have to leave a message and wait a day for them to get back to me--they actually answer their business line!! Dennis was at my door a few minutes before noon!!! Same day service?? YES, ITS TRUE! Both jobs were completed and I was charged a reasonable rate. Dennis was great to work with and I will definitely be calling Dennis Electric next time I need an electrician!

Dennis came to install my EV charger he was very professional and efficient, great experience working with him and his partner. Cost was 1500$ to run line from box at back of the house along the side of the house and into the garage. Not sure if that’s a fair price but just throwing it out there for others to compare. Dennis came out to take a look at a very loud bathroom vent fan. I had already done most of the work to remove the housing and most of the internals. He tested the motor and everything was working well and he suggested that I just tighten everything down and see if that helped reduce the noise. I put everything back together and made sure to tighten all the mounting hardware. This fixed my problem and I was able to avoid replacing the unit or any other more expensive fixes. I certainly recommend Dennis Electric and will certainly be using his services for some other electrical/lighting projects that I have planned for the future.

I found Dennis Electric by searching the Omaha discussion board on Reddit for electrician recommendations, where Dennis Electric was the most highly recommended company. Dennis diagnosed a recurrent problem with my power cutting out and determined it was a problem at the electric pole and not in my house, despite some very ambiguous symptoms. He told me he wouldnt charge me at all despite getting to my house within two hours the day of a school-closing snowstorm. I of course was still very happy insist on paying him something to at least acknowledge his expertise and lightning-fast response, and I have to say Dennis is the real deal and for sure is not going to take advantage like some others might. Highly recommend -- exceedingly competent, quickly responsive, and totally honest. Cant miss with Dennis Electric.

He said they could probably work with me to get things handled. They were able to come out on Wednesday and knock out the 12 item list I had in 1.5 hrs. Matt and his assistant provided quality work and explained the different options to me thoroughly so that I could make informed decisions. A great experience overall and will be using them in the future!

I became a lifelong fan of Dennis Electric several years ago when the owner and his son restored power to our house after a neighbor’s tree fell over and knocked down our power line. Not only did they come out and reconnect the line right away, they also sawed up and hauled away the fallen tree! In 2021 Dennis Electric hooked up power to our refurbished garage, and we are thrilled with the results. They are our go-to company for all electrical repairs.

I selected Dennis electric based on their Google reviews. When I looked, every review was 5 stars and I can see why. I called for an appointment, left a message and received a callback in less than 10 minutes. That was the first pleasant surprise. Next surprise was that they got me in for a diagnostic appointment within a couple days and started work a couple days later (based on my schedule and convenience). Loved this as other vendors estimated a 2-3 week wait time.Once they were on site, the job was completed quickly, efficiently, WAY under the time estimated by other vendors and at a lower cost.Replaced my breaker panel, fixed several dead outlets and traced wiring in the ceiling that had become disconnected (become builder of the home didnt put wire nuts on anything)...I have some other electrical projects for later and will definitely use again..I usually rule out the top/bottom 5% of internet reviews. But I saw a lot of the positive comments in action when Dennis arrived. Great company.

We had lost power in two important rooms, one being my office where I work from home. Loss of power meant no internet or access to work. We called early on Saturday and they gave us some ideas for do it yourself fixes while they were enroute. We didn’t get it figured out but when the electrician arrived, he had the issue resolved in less than ten minutes. The service, responsiveness and cost for the fix was excellent. ***Update*** I will ALWAYS use these guys! It’s like doing business with family. They care and take care of you. I had been hearing a humming noise in my house for about a week. I called the day after Christmas and Dennis was out the next day to take a look. He wasn’t able to hear the humming noise but trusted that I could. He started tinkering with things and we were able to identify the issue. To my relief, it was a simple fix and he was able to do it himself.These guys over deliver!!! I’m more than delighted with this company! Matt and Dillon came to install a new circuit for my treadmill. They were so easy to talk to and showed me what they were going to do. They even added an outlet next to the new box to connect my water softener. Something I hadnt even considered but they did it because it made sense. Nice touch. - So overall, they communicated well, there were no surprises, they advised me well (Im handy, but Im not an electrician; I needed advice), and they did a great job. When I needed recessed lighting in my new home, Dennis Electric transformed three rooms from Bat Caves to ballrooms. Dennis first came over to assess my needs, offer solutions, and develop an estimate, explaining all the work to be performed. He made sure I understood what to expect, as far as time required and the rooms likely needing drywall patching after installation, so there were no surprises. The installation was performed primarily by Matthew, who put lights in two closets and three rooms (one with a very high ceiling), all in a single day. Several times during the installation Matthew stopped to make sure he was installing switches or insets exactly where I wanted them. Work was done expeditiously and skillfully, and they cleaned up nicely before leaving. I used Dennis Electric for work on my entire top floor. They installed LED lighting in all the rooms, ceiling fans, added additional switches to the wall for the fans, lighting in the hallways, closets and bathroom to include dimmers for most of the lights. Great crew. On time, courteous, careful not to damage the walls. They even made sure to lay down drop clothes and vacuumed up when they left. Will definitely use them again.

I am an elderly woman with an invalid husband. I lost power at midnight in our bedroom. I tried to do the breaker switch but couldn’t do it. I unplugged everything as I was afraid of fire. I called Dennis Electric and told them my problem. They worked me into their schedule immediately. He came out, took a look in the bedroom, went downstairs and reset the breaker. The power was back on. He then had me do it so I would know how. He told me what caused the outage. I asked how much I owed him and he said, “no charge.” I’ve never been treated this kindly by any service person. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
