Doug and Ricky were thorough and careful in all their work, and I appreciate their integrity and knowledge.     It is uncommon in this day of greed and price gouging to find a company that is the epitome of customer service. I called Edge Electric this morning ( A Sunday morning) because I had an issue installing a smart light and ceiling fan switch in my bedroom. The issue was I had no power in my bedroom. After hours of reading YouTube videos, I decided to get professional assistance. I called and spoke with the owner ( I can only assume he was the owner)of the company and he helped me figure out my problem over the phone, and get this, HE DID NOT CHARGE ME! I even asked if he had a charge app and he told me not to worry about it! If I ever need any electrical work, Edge Electric will be the first I call.

    Edge Electric is my go-to when I need electrical work, and theyve never let me down. Today, Doug, not only troubleshot a long standing electrical outlet/circuit breaker box malfunction (caused by someone else) but restored power to two outlets and the dryer in record time and replaced a dangerous refrigerator outlet. Real pleasure to watch a pro at work. And on top of all that, Doug was a genuinely nice guy to chat with. Thanks! Larry

    Doug from Edge Electric came out to my house today. We had called in the morning and they were not only about to come out on the same day, but they even called to see if they could come out early!Doug took great care and attention to turn a challenging project into an easy job. I had three outlets changed from traditional switches to smart switches. It was worth it, and the switches work great now!Weve called Edge Electric before and they have been there for us for years. They are a dependable company and trustworthy for your next project! Give Edge a call, you wont regret it!

    Edge electric has done excellent work for me in the past, but this time I am leaving a review because the service provided was above and beyond. Needed emergency service when one of my bathroom outlets burst into flames this morning. When I called in a panic as soon as they opened, Angela kindly listened to my story and assured me someone would be to my home within a few hours. When my service window got pushed back by an hour or so because the job prior to mine was taking longer than anticipated, Angela called back to inform me which I very much appreciated. Doug got to work as soon as he arrived, and not only did he move and replace the outlet, he patched the drywall around the outlet! He cut and custom fitted by hand a uniquely shaped piece of drywall and he kept trimming until the odd piece fit perfectly, just so I wouldnt have to call and pay another contractor to do the work. As in times past, Doug was professional, personable, and did excellent work in a short period of time. He even insisted on making sure the area was all swept up and vacuumed! Like I said, above and beyond!

    Doug from Edge Electric showed up to add a 240v line to my house for a new stove. Showed up on the early side of the arrival window, called when he was en-route, and showed up when expected.He beat out his own estimate in time and cost and kept us in budget! Was kind enough to clean up his work space and make sure I got my stove in place.Will definitely use them in the future!

    Edge replaced my electrical service panel and upgraded to 200 amp service. The old panel failed and Edge responded promptly to complete the work. The price quoted was the price paid at end of job. All staff were polite and responsive. Justin’s work was very professional. The electrical inspector checked all the work and commented that it was a real clean install and it was all right. I appreciated the fact that the work passed the inspection the first time and didn’t have to take additional time off work. Thanks Edge and Justin for the great work.👍👍

    I would highly recommend Edge Electric! Doug came out to the house and did a complete new service replacing all of my electrical boxes. My house was an old house with lots of problems to over come. Doug knew how to correct all the mistakes from the past and install a new electrical system that was up to city codes. The new boxes and panels were installed professionally and the finished product looks really good. This new install of electrical boxes and new line running out to the pole and new electrical lines running up through my attic has increased my property value. I plan on selling my home in 1 to 2 years so know it is up to city code and ready to list for sale. Thank you Edge Electric ⚡️ Fantastic Job!

    We had a minor electrical fire late on a Saturday night. Our neighbor, a retired fire marshal, came over and did a safety check to make sure our home was safe to sleep in and correct breakers were off. He recommended Edge Electric and suggested calling them Sunday morning. We called first thing Sunday, and within an hour Doug was at our home.He was friendly, polite, and professional,. Doug assessed the issue, explained what happened, and offered to fix it for a very fair price for a Sunday call. Doug completed the work, cleaned the wall near the fire, and the switch, and was mindful about not touching anything else with the black smudge on his hands until he washed them.Doug took time to answer our questions, and was patient and mindful to explain how these things happen. In our case it was because someone did shoddy work while building the house. He checked our breaker box for other potential issues and found none. Doug made sure all the effected areas were operational and we were pleased with the work.Doug, and Edge Electric, took what was a very alarming and unsettling experience and resolved the issue in a prompt, professional manner. For these reasons I recommend Doug, and Edge Electric, without reservation.

    I had a circuit breaker failure that shut down power to half of my house. Edge electric was able to get a crew out to my house the same day, at a time that worked with my work schedule, and replace the faulty breakers in a very reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend edge electric and will be using them in the future as needed.

    Justin was very professional and knew what he was doing. The work I had done was pretty straightforward and called out on a home inspection, but they were able to make it happen the next day after I called. The prices were higher than what I would want to pay, but they are still competitive with other local electrician companies.

    We have used Edge Electric for all our in-home electric work for about 6 years. They have always done an outstanding job, and we have been perfectly satisfied with all the work they have done for us. Justin was our repairman today, and he and his helper did a great job as usual.As a follow on to this review--here it is 5 years later, and Edge Electric is still our choice for electrical repairs. Doug came out today and installed four new lights to replace some that were installed 12 years ago under their awesome warranty. Great company and great service.

    Edge Electric was my first encounter with any local businesses in Oklahoma. I am from Texas and recently bought and moved into an older home that needed SIGNIFICANT electrical updates. The entire electrical panel needed replacing, GFIs in my bathrooms and kitchens, security lights installed, a new ceiling fan installed, and several other things that required immediate attention. (The list is actually quite long) But Doug did an excellent job! He is very knowledgeable, and is very flexible! He went above and beyond my expectations. Because I had so much I needed fixed, they came very early in the morning to beat the heat and worked throughout the day. They ended up having to work over the course of two days because of all the repairs needed, but they were so wonderful and respectful of my time. They even went so far as to install my video doorbell for me and it took them less than 10 minutes to do! He also helped me figure out why my garage door opener wasnt working, and saved me from having to call and pay a repairman to come fix it! (It was as simple as flipping a switch, so that was greatly appreciated and saved me time and headaches.) They did such a great job and the quality of service is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, worth the price. 10/10 would recommend.

    When I gave them a call they were able to get me scheduled for a time within a few days. They arrived on time and walked me through multiple options based off what I actually needed. They were reasonably priced, worked quickly, and were very professional for the entire appointment. They also offer a free lifetime warranty on their work.     When some electrical issue occurs in your home the breaker does nothing, you MUST call someone. I called EDGE. First thing was the person that answered. She ran me through a process to make sure it wasn’t something I could fix. RARE! Scheduled for Monday morning. On time, announced fee, listened to me about what happened and went to work. Within minutes he said OH MY, come here. The 29 year old GFI in the bathroom was SMOKING. Explained if power was on, it could have caught fire. I saw the smoke. That replaced he checked the other bath plug ins, and was on to the next job. It’s so great to find honest, knowledgeable companies when something occurs you can’t fix. EDGE ELECTRIC will be our company from now on. Thanks again to the person that took my call. TRULY amazing.

    Fantastic customer service. I want to thank Doug for the high quality of work and incredible knowledge. He didnt just fix the problem of my plugs not working. He offered practical advice on the right kind of bulbs for a house and which stores you could find them if you chose to get it yourself. He managed to discern that our water softener was broken when we thought it was simply the electricity not working. He gave us advice on why our two remote-controlled ceiling fans didnt work. Hes very knowledge about which products are long-lasting versus short-term. Again and again I could sense this company is about quality and not just the quick-fix solution. Doug would explain why something didnt work. Hes very transparent, extremely knowledeable and more than willing to explain what we didnt know. Thats a sign of a person with plenty of expertise. I would most definitely recommend Edge Electric.

    Its five minutes after Doug left, and the service, information, work and repair done was absolutely top notch. My friends call me Daniel, and I put this in here so the folks at Edge Electric know who is leaving this well deserved 5 star review.I feared for a 1500 dollar or more repair. This fear was in place BEFORE I called Edge Electric. Once Doug arrived, the same day of the call I made for service, I might add, he told me up front how much it was to search for the trouble spot in order to repair it. I nodded with the high hopes that he was right on what was wrong, and bam, he was right. Instead of a 1500 dollar repair, it was less than 400 bucks.Better yet, they warranty their repairs for LIFE. Now thats service, quality, and Doug never, ever talked down to me. He was smart, smiling and willing to do the job right.I cannot stress enough how much Ill be calling them back in about 6 months to have another 220 line installed for a second stove. Just saying. These folks are the real deal.

    My wife and I will definitely recommend Edge Electric. We had an emergency electrical issue on a Saturday and were without power. We searched for a company that was certified and available on weekends. When we called Edge Electric, someone answered the phone immediately and got us in contact with one of their electricians. Doug was here from across town in less than 45 minutes.He gave us manageable options and educated us on the safest things we should do. He was informative and wasnt trying to upsell anything. We have a six-month old at home, so power was much needed. He was very personable, professional, and worked late into the night in order to restore our power. Even though it was late and a bad thunderstorm was rolling into town, he stayed to give us power and clean up. He didnt want our little guy getting in the dust...very considerate. He came back the next day to finish everything up and left the area in better condition than it was before. Doug went above and beyond what we could have expected. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. If you want a trustworthy, efficient, and reliable electrician, go with Edge Electric. If you are lucky, you get to work with Doug, as well.

    I called and spoke with Angela to set up an appointment. I really like speaking with a friendly person and not dealing with voice mail.     Doug went above and beyond for me today. He answered the phone every time I called. He was at my house exactly when he told me he would be. He fixed my issue within 20 minutes and charged a fair price. He even took me down to Locke Supply to make sure I bought the right parts for a different outlet that I was installing on my back porch (totally unrelated to the issue i called him about). Best of all, they perform outstanding quality services, and even clean up their work area prior to leaving. They make sure to explain everything they’ve done, including answering any questions the customer may have.     I needed to have a GFCI outlet replaced and also needed my garage outside lighting checked. I called Edge Electric after searching online and reading reviews from other customers. My technician Justin Noran did an excellent job of checking and explaining the issue. He informed exactly of what he had to do to correct the issues.I was impressed with his knowledge about my electrical issue. I was also impressed that when I called the office to make my appointment all questions were answered and they worked with my schedule.     Doug answered my call at 6am on a Saturday and was at my house by 8am and because my issue was severe he came back and worked all day Sunday to replace and upgrade my breaker instead of scheduling me later in the week.     Justin and Brady were AWESOME! They were on time for coming out to give us a quote and then early on the day of service. Very professional, cleaned up after themselves (which I cant say any other recent trades Ive had in my home), and affordable.     Doug responded to an electrical emergency @ our home after hours. He spent additional time inspecting out VERY outdated breaker box, and advised us about what type of box we should have for our power needs, and what type of lighting would be more efficient in our home. Needless to say, we had him come out and replace our 30+ year old breaker box, which was on its last legs, and will be having him over again when its time to upgrade our lighting!     Having had an outstanding customer experience in late 2018, I called Edge Electric due to problems with multiple electrical outlets in my garage. The electrician patiently assisted me over the phone to diagnose the scope of the problem, and his advice quickly enabled me to resolve the issue without having to establish a formal service call. He very kindly did not charge me anything for his assistance, and it saved me a service charge for a house call. The electricians at Edge Electric are VERY competent, courteous, and professional, not to mention exceedingly kind to assist me over the phone. Edge Electric has my highest level of recommendation! I wont hesitate to call them with any electrical problems or projects.

    I am very pleased with my experience with Edge Electric. The technician came out to my home to do repairs I thought were necessary. However instead of completing and charging me for what I thought I needed, he advised me of a more cost effective approach. He did this even though it made his service call to my home unnecessary. He then helped remove a broken lock on my door I was having difficulty with, even though it was unrelated to his visit. He only charged me a modest, basic fee for the trip. This was well worth it since removing the lock saved me from having to call a locksmith, which would have been more expensive. So I recommend Edge Electric. Based on my experience, I believe they are honest and forthright with their customers.

I felt they were very honest, I discussed a problem I was having in the garage, and instead of roping me in for additional repairs (which could of happened because I know very little about electrical issues) Doug told me it wasnt a electrical problem rather a problem with the appliance itself.     Edge Electric has completed two daunting electrical task for me and my wife. firstly, Justin rewired our mother-in-law suit (20 x 30) in the backyard that was completed decades ago and was out of code, not to mention faulty and dangerous. We had called edge electric, and they made us an appointment for the very next day to give us an estimate. Justin came out and assessed everything we would need to rewire the little house and get us up to code. Justin wrote the scope of work and details and sat down with us and walked us through everything that was either out of date, wrongly wired, or just plain dangerous. Next, he walked us around and physically pointed out to us everything he had discussed. They started the job the following week, staying right on schedule as laid out in the detailed scope of work. the price and tempo and quality of work delivered were just as promised. about 5 months later I called Justin to run a 50 Amp break box to our hot tub. he remembered my name and said he would come out the following day to give us an estimate. as per last time, his scope of work and tempo and quality were right on time. being able to have a go-to electrician that is a consummate professional such as Justin from edge electric is reassuring. just has built a relationship with me earned over trust and superior quality work. my wife and i will not use anyone but edge electric in the future for all our electrical needs.

    I called Edge Electric at about 7 AM concerning an alarming burning smell coming from the kitchen. Doug was at our house before 8:30 the same morning to check it out. He shared our concern regarding the potential of a dangerous situation and came over ASAP. We will be calling them as soon as were ready to address our other electrical issues.Update June 2019: called Edge Electric when our electric cooktop stopped working and our oven shortly after. After evaluating the situation, Justin informed me about (the 2nd level I think?) diagnostic that would be the next step. I agreed and right before he set to the next step he threw a hail Mary and found the problem. Saved me about 300 dollars. As soon as I can give another 5 stars I will!

    Prompt and helpful service. For late evening on a Saturday I had two other companies that stated they were 24/7 but couldn’t get any of their techs to work the over time. That’s ok. Angela from Edge called me right back, in less than an hour Doug was at my house working on my system. Rates were extremely reasonable, a service call fee + repairs was money well spent. Since the problem was electrical in conjunction with my AC unit, after the electric portion was done by Doug - he was able to refer out to an HVAC individual to come out and work with us on the rest of the fault detection and solution. Less than 2.5 hours later from my initial phone call I have all electric done, AC fault identitfied and part will be ready tomorrow to finish the job!Excellent service, I’ll be a recurring customer (hopefully not too often though!!)

    Do to VA Loan requirements I was required to get a statement from a licensed electrician that the wiring in the house I was buying was in good working order. The house has an old Georgia Pacific breaker panel. Edge Electric was the only contractor that would respond that day. They provided the statement for the VA and replaced the panel the following day. We updated the all the wiring and the lighting to LED throughout the house to include adding switches and ceiling fans. Edge listened to our concerns and addressed every electrical need in a professional manner. They were diligent to work around the family living areas and communicated with us every step of the way. The lighting they installed has a lifetime warranty. If they go out Edge comes and replaces them. They also offered and installed a whole house surge suppressor directly in the new breaker box. We are totally satisfied and will recommend Edge Electric to anyone needing electrical work done in their home.

    I hired Edge to come out and replace 2 standard outlets in my kitchen with GFCI outlets and to fix an outlet in my garage that was improperly mounted by the previous homeowner.When they arrived Doug and Justin took a look at the outlets and let me know the price to fix them up front. Once I agreed they made extremely quick work in the fixing of those. Since the two outlets in the kitchen were running off of the same circuit/load, they only needed to replace one of them with a GFCI outlet and they saved me the money of having to replace the other one. So they did not try to get more work out of me than was necessary.When they addressed the garage outlet to remount it, they discovered that it was actually not getting any power so they went to work trying to figure out why. They got into the electrical box, found the issue, and rewired it so that it now had power going to it.They didnt just do the minimum amount of work or try to get more money out of me. They addressed the problems and found solutions and they did it with speed, communication and with the minimal cost necessary.If I need an electrician again in the future, Im calling Edge Electric.

I learned an expensive lesson today about calling OG&E to check for a neighborhood outage before calling an electrician. Because of a previous electrical issue Edge helped me with, I assumed my outage was a problem with my house. So I called them first thing this morning. Edge is upfront about their rates, did the diagnostic (which I asked them to do by calling them), and then pointed me to OG&E. They even offered to contact OG&E for me. Just including the note to check with OG&E first for others it may help. This is a new home to me and it would have been helpful for me to have read and considered that and saved todays charges. Although, I am glad to pay for doing what I asked them to do. Just a lesson learned, and as a review-reader, that is a note that would have helped me.
