Bryan was professional and courteous as he entered my home. He diagnosed and repaired a circuit breaker which took out my lights in the living room, kitchen and porch. He also informed and showed me water leakage, rusting and corrosion into the main circuitry box. He showed me other electrical issues that could be fire hazardous located inside and outside the house and in need of attention. Thank you Bryan for your professionalism.Update:Bryan came back to my home for work needed. Some of the circuit breakers were corroded and rusted. The wiring inside the circuit box looked like spagetti. The outside wiring attached to the house was frayed and the some of the piping which housed some of the wiring was misaligned probably causing some dampness to the wiring. The box holding the meter was no longer attached to the home which I believe happened when my new siding was put up and electrical was not put back correctly including the piping. Bryan put in a new circuit box and breakers, neatly attached wiring, relabeled the wiring to each room, his partner rewired frayed wires outside the house and placed wires inside a PVC piping to prevent corrosion. He replaced grounding pole outside my house with a copper pole which originally was not copper. Very happy with Bryan and his partner’s work. Bryan and his partner were very organized and neat and did not rush through the job. I recommend Mister Sparky to anyone looking for great work to their electrical system. Keep your home safe. Paul from mister sparky and brandon were true gentlemen through and through. Had an electrical service done on my house and paul did a thorough job making the panel look neat and organized! To exceed expectations and show artistry with his work! While paul was outside installing the exterior meter pan and mast style conduit.He went above and beyond to make sure that i had the instalation that was desired and to code for both NEC, AHJ, and the extras i desired to go above and beyond! They both worked neat and clean through the entire duration of the job and made sure everthing was left cleaner than it was before! As an electrician myself (homeowners not allowed to do the electrical in my town) I would highly recommend mister sparky to do any electrical work you desire to have done! With their neat, professional, and gentlemanly demeanors i would say they excelled above an beyond to make sure i was truly satisfied 5 stars all day long!

After doing some research and having to use an electrician for the first time I chose to call Mister Sparky. McKayla at the main office was professional and friendly in answering my questions before booking an appointment 5/13/2024. I needed a 3 gang bathroom switch rewired to operate properly. Tom McGovern was sent to do the job. He was professional, social and polite. He didnt mind me watching the work he was doing as I am always curious how things work. Tom found out (that I already suspected) the owner did not wire it properly in the first place. Tom proceeded to diagnose and repair the improper wiring. He was able to complete the job during his visit and didnt take much time to do it. This was a great first time experience and I am sure I now have a company I can rely on for future work. I highly recommend Mister Sparky and will also request Tom McGovern to be my service electrician for the job.

He assessed the other outlets and informed me they were out of code. I asked him to do the repairs, he checked his work and found a fuse blown and repaired that quickly. Overall, Bryan was professional with strong communication skills and was more than a pleasure to work with. I have found my go to electrician for the future.

Update #2I just realized, that because of something I read on the next door app, that I had not updated this review again.Ive been so disgusted with this business, I did not want to even aggravate myself or my family any more.Turns out nothing whatsoever was wrong with the fixture!Cost a fortune to take it down and take it to the lamp repair Mike recommended.Lamp only needed bulbs!2 halogen bulbs were out, out of 3. No one from Mr Sparky (Murdy Electric) bothered to even check that before taking it off my ceiling at great expense.The lamp repair owner ordered bulbs for me, he unscrewed the halogens and put in LED at my request.No rewiring needed per Mr. Sparkys electrician!We were without decent light in our dining area (where we eat every day) because they took down a perfectly good fixture!I called a different electrician to reinstall the fixture at additional expense. We used a very fine electrician from Point Lookout who reinstalled it for us.So after spending over $800 to remove a perfectly good fixture and then put it back, and being without proper light to eat and read, all we needed was bulbs!Incompetence at its best.Lets just say, we finally saw the light, and it was certainly not Mr. Sparky.UPDATE:Before I even wrote the original review below, Renee from the local Oceanside Mr. Sparky office bent over backwards to make sure we got a great technician and person to make up for the rude experience with Bryan. She said MIke would come and we would be so happy, and she was absolutely correct.Mike was easy going, accommodating, extremely competent and very pleasant. He was not on time, he was actually a few minutes Early! He took down the problem fixture for us in a jiffy. When I told Mike how much I loved the fixture, he made some calls to his contacts to find a place that fixes the type of fixture we have and then called the that place that was referred to him to double check that they do make the kind of repairs needed! How nice of Mike was that? Again, the office staff was simply terrific, Renee and Wayne both. So the review of how well the company treated us and what a great job Mike the electrician did definitely earned 5+ stars.Hopefully Mr. Sparky will send Mike to reinstall the fixture when it is repaired. Pleasure to have him in our home.Here is the shortened (shortened - ha ha) prior review :The people in the office were great, Renee and Wayne, as well as their answering service. Unfortunately, the particular electrician who came to our home, Bryan, was arrogant and unprofessional. Thats the short version and the end of the story is that he did not do the work. I have read many reviews of this electrical business, and theyve all been good, so I had high expectations and was really surprised.I spoke with the office manager and she apologized profusely and tried hard to accommodate us, and offered to send another electrician on another day, who it was promised would be wonderful. She was very kind and listened to the details of the entire visit. Definitely good customer relations.I also note that after making the appointment with their service, a member of the office staff called to confirm all the details They also called me before the appointment to remind me, as well as on the day the appointment to say that they were on the way. Very classy operation, old school, the way service should be. The only wrench in the works was the snarky electrician that came. So in the end the work we needed was not done, We hope that a follow-up appointment is more fruitful.The electrician gets no stars and the office staff gets kudos and 5 stars. So ergo the 3 stars - to balance out the service received.Stay tuned. If the follow-up appointment is kept, we will certainly make a point to review it if it is a good experience - because it would be unfair to the vendor because of one bad apple employee among a staff of many.

Bryan was courteous and efficient. He did a great job installing 2 new ceiling fans where there were previously no overhead fixtures. One was a particularly tricky installation and he got the job done! Great work overall!

I was referred to Me. Sparky by another electrician business that did not service my area. An appointment was set up within 2 days. I received a phone call that morning re-confirming the appointment. In addition, alerts were sent to my phone when the electrician was coming as well as a picture of the electrician. He was on time and was finished within the hour. I was also offered a service contract for approximately $200 a year for electrical maintenance. I have a older home with old wiring and I found the contract useful. The contract also gives you 15% off major work so if I need to do any renovations in the future the discount would be useful. I had an overall satisfying experience.

Mister Sparky was wonderful! It was the first time they were here and I plan to call them every time. They came over same day in the rain to work at my front entrance which has an overhang within 3 hours in the time span they gave me. The receptionist was extremely understanding and helpful about my schedule and the electrician was informative, patient, professional and knew exactly what to do about the issue. He educated me about GFIs and the new covers, how to keep them dry and prevent problems in the future. The price was reasonable and comparable to others so the reasonable $59 service call being separate did not cost any more than it would have cost combined because the job fee was lower then others quoted so the combination was the same. All in all a very pleasant experience for an annoying problem that could have been dangerous so Im glad I called a professional instead of testing or trying to change it ourselves. Highly recommend Mister Sparky and Jim. Thank you Asia, you are very sweet!

The electrician, James Baldwin, was very knowledgeable and professional. You can tell from the moment I described my issue he knew what the problem was and how to fix it. Not only did he do that but he also identified areas of concern that may cause issues at a later so I could get a jump on it. He was able to complete the work regardless of the commotion around him from my kids and dogs, and did it all with the most positive attitude. Would definitely recommend again.

Repair for high tech doorbell that abruptly stopped working. Not getting power, it took quite a while to find the transformer, but the Sparky electrician did find it. Turned out that previous air conditioning repairs had cut the power wire probably unaware. Got the doorbell up and running again. Good and persistent job, up to Mr. Sparkys usual high standards.
