I contacted Valdel Plumbing to have someone come to check my sewer drain pipes as I had a leak. A technician came out in under an hour. After checking the leak and a price quote to fix it they proceeded to remove my old rusted cast iron pipes and replaced them with PVC pipes. I was very satisfied with the quick repair and the quality of work by Billy and Steve.

Steve was great. He came on time listened to what we said diagnosed and fixed the problem. He wasn’t here that long either. And no more leakage! As far as the company they were responsive and very nice on the phone. The only issue I had was the cost. But not knowing plumbing pricing these days I could be way off base. We did qualify for a senior discount which made it a little easier to swallow. Steve also recommended a mold remediation company which they use often. I gladly accepted because I was very happy with all of the service we received.

Had Valdel out to replace quite the mess left by a previous home owner. They did a great job filling me in on the different options I had and providing suggestions for the new system. Jerry was on time and very knowledgeable and when it came time for installation they did great work. They vented the new unit properly, installed the necessary bypasses and shutoffs and it’s been working great. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring them out again.

Great communication, qualified and professional plumbers.Our plumber Steve and his helper did an excellent job of installing new shutoff valves below our new utility sink. They showed up on time, got the job done in 15 minutes and left the work area clean.I installed the sink myself, did the connections and drain pipe, mounted the sink to the wall after Vadel installed the new shut-off valves.Highly recommended...a bit on the expensive side. We would use Valdel plumping again.

My hot water heater finally gave up on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago. ValDel sent out a plumber, Jason in about an hour after I called. Jason was very professional and courteous, explained everything that needed to be done and patiently answered all my questions. He also provided me with options and the costs for everything and I never felt pressured to purchase extras or upgrades. After a couple of hours, I had a new working water heater. This is the second time I’ve had ValDel do work on my house. They don’t disappoint.

Every part of the experience with with Valdel Plumbing to replace our water main was good. If I were to comment on anything I wasnt crazy about, it would have to be the backhoe used to punch through the concrete cutout of the pavement. This left the remaining concrete cracked and will need a little attention to prevent further damage. I was also surprised at the size of the hole made in the basement wall to feed the the new pipe through.Friendly, cooperative and I would probably go with Valdel Plumbing for future projects.

Wow, Steve Ault did a really great job!Im impressed. From the minute he and his colleague walked in the door they were professional, respectful and courteous. Great qualities for sure, but especially for a plumbing company.They wore face masks and put on boot covers, which my family appreciates inside our home.He took a look at the issue (water heater leaking) and gave his assessment of what could be done about it. Came up with a couple different options and laid out the pricing on the spot.Willing to work with you to figure out how to resolve problems and get the issues solved - all with a positive attitude.I didnt have high expectations but he made Valdel Plumbing shine.They finished the job in really good time but also did a professional job. It might sound odd to say this about plumbing work, but it really looks skillfully-done. It helped, too, that they have good senses of humor to calm my nerves as we assessed and addressed the problems.No emergency plumbing job is ever cheap, but the pricing was fair and defined up front. Tim Cullen did a great job moving our laundry hookups into the basement, running a gas line for a dryer, installing a laundry pump and laundry sink, and fixing the janky hookups left by the previous owner. Needing a new Sewer Line we researched more than a few contractors to complete this work. A guy a few miles from us charged us $400 to run a camera and said he would take it off the bill then decided we didn’t need a new line. I’ll post more about that dude on his page but let’s get to Valdel Plumbing.From the beginning they were professional and courteous. Valdel sent a polite and knowledgable technician to our home. He listened, wore shoe coverings, and explained the process of discovery. He diagnosed the issue, explained the process of installing a new Sewer Line, and then handed us a quote which we discussed. The office then contacted us a few days later after we notified them we needed a few days to make a decision. We then started the process by paying for part of the project.After having to reschedule a few times due to the weather the crew arrived. The 4 Technicians were friendly, approachable, confident, and knowledgeable; we knew we were in good hands. Within a day the project was complete to our and more importantly, their satisfaction. I did have a concern about the amount of dirt that was not able to be leveled back into the two holes they dug and I notified the office. I received a call from one of the Owners who listened to me and then asked for pictures of the project area. He was understanding and fair knowing the scope of the issue and we agreed to touch base in a few months to reassess the areas of our yard.The last call we received was a Satisfaction Survey call where they asked us what we thought, what they could have been done better, and offered us a yearly Maintenance Program. We’ve been in our home over 23 hrs and have dealt with many service industry professionals, and I can unequivocally testify that you should not hesitate to contact Valdel Plumbing for anything related to Plumbing!

A couple weeks ago, your technician Justin Gillette came to our house to install a new sink and vanity we had previously purchased. He was very friendly, professional and thorough. He also took a look at the toilet in our powder room, which is constantly running. He went above and beyond, since he had only come out to install the vanity. Today I had the good fortune of meeting Stephen B. as the sewer drain expert from ValDel, who came to my house to evaluate for much needed work. He was not only professional, kind-hearted, and friendly, but brilliant in his field of expertise. Its funny that as I get to meet different folks in their chosen fields, they are all dog/animal lovers. So its easy to leave a good review when the work went right, but in my case it didnt. My old water heater burst and the replacement I ordered from Lowes with a delivery date of the next day got changed to a month out. Do not go to Lowes for this stuff. Valdel had someone out within 2 hours and they took away the old heater and put a good quality heater in its place. Had everything hooked up and going in 1 1/2 hours. Well almost. One of the wire nut connections slipped out and the heater would not heat. I called them back late in the day and they had a tech out first thing the next (Sunday) morning who found and fixed the problem. Frankly we need something better than wire nuts to connect wires. Something like Sharkbite for wires. I am happy with the service and the response to the problem. You can feel confident using Valdel

Valdel responded very quickly to my request for an appointment (while I received no response at all from some other companies which I contacted!) and followed up with confirmation as well as providing an update regarding initial visit in which a photo and introduction of the technician were provided. Steve arrived at the scheduled appointment time and quickly and efficiently identified the required equipment and labor for the replacement of power-vented gas water heater and pump switch that were damaged from basement flooding during recent storm. He also identified and remedied the issue that caused the sump pump failure that contributed to the basement flooding by making simple adjustments to existing equipment. The proper replacement equipment was identified and quickly ordered once he reviewed in detail the recommended work and pricing and authorization was given by me. All of the work was completed within a few hours -- including some additional corrections needed to surrounding elements (pipes, sump pump, venting, etc.). Throughout the scheduling and repair process Jennifer provided helpful support by phone, and everyone at Valdel was friendly, efficient and professional. One additional note: I live in a quirky 200+ year old house on a steep hillside lot, and Steve was extremely accommodating in responding to the special circumstances impacting on the work required. He was pleasant throughout the process and completed the necessary work (and more!) within the expected time-frame and to my satisfaction. I plan to call Valdel for additional future plumbing projects and recommend them very highly!

However, the initial price that the technician said to replace the disposal was extremely high. They were close to $1000 or a little over $700. I wish they were more reasonable with the price. Because of the price, I dont think we would use them again in the future.

I contacted Valdel for an estimate on replacing my hot water heater, and they came out right away and did not charge me a visit fee for the assessment. I called a few plumbing companies, and some wanted to charge almost $100 (!) just to come out, and the fee was not rolled into the job if accepted. I recall it was typical for the fee to be absorbed, but I guess thats not the case these days.In any case, they gave a fair price (they were not the cheapest but I also wanted a vendor who has a good reputation and does quality work), and they didnt try to upsell products like some other vendors. They were able to fit me in within a week of the initial visit, and the technicians came out and did the job in a short amount of time. They arrive when they said they would, and they were in and out of the house in about 2.5 hours.I would definitely recommend them for a new hot water heater installation.

Even I wasnt THAT ready, so I scheduled it for the following morning (this morning).The technician showed up at the beginning of the time slot and was professional, friendly, and clean. He was willing to humour my attempts at comedy and even (pity) laughed a few times! :) I gave him the rundown, and he was RIGHT AWAY ready to clear the blockage. He gave me the prices BEFORE anything was done, quoted what would be needed if his snaking operation didnt work, and began work. After clearing the line, he was willing to wait around and ensure that the standpipe actually drained.All in all, his work seemed to do the trick! BUT Valdel Plumbing was willing to offer a WARRANTY that the pipe will drain properly within 30 days or theyd credit the next needed operation for the price that I paid! Prices are always high for plumbing needs, but its nothing that I wasnt expecting, and it aligned with what other plumbing services had quoted me (Id much rather leave this work to the professionals and Im willing to pay whats needed)Ill certainly be calling Valdel again in the future for any (hopefully sparse) plumbing needs. You should too! :)

The technician listened and worked with me to create a custom solution (I had some pipe and fittings which he incorporated). He also contacted me that day to confirm that he was on his way. Billy Pearsall, the plumber they sent was prompt, respectful and very helpful - answering the many questions I had. The leak was identified quickly in a difficult area above a dry wall ceiling and air return ducts. He gave me several options and I decided to upgrade my water line to my fridge, which was the source of the leak. The work and cleanup was done quickly and professionally. Billy also gave me advice and estimates on my hot water tank, which was located near the leak. All in all I was very satisfied.

Had a Rheem water Heater for 3 years, it started leaking, warranty stinks. The Rheem replaced a 14 year old Bradford White we had and we needed to replace it in a hurry and went to our local Home Depot, they were good and the installation was good but obviously the quality of the Rheem was not even close to the Bradford White.Today I went online and shopped for Bradford White and the results pointed me to Ferguson, I called them and they were very nice and were able to give me a price for a BW but unfortunately they don’t install and could not recommend any.I searched again and and found many plumbing company’s near me, the first choice I went with was Valdel, I filled out an online form around 12:30 pm and within minutes I received a call from them, they were very pleasant to speak with! She told me they have an appointment available between 2-6 pm (same day), I said yes please send but can you have them call first, she said absolutely. I received a text at 3:23 telling me my technician Justin is on his way, a few minutes later I received a phone call too, nice! Within 15 minutes Justin along with Spiro showed up, I greeted them at the door and immediately they put on shoe booties. I took them to the water heater and explained my issue. They confirmed that a replacement was needed.They walked me through all my options but even though I needed to go with the lowest cost option I still felt comfortable that I was getting a quality product and after they completed the replacement a quality installation.I am impressed with the speed that this experience was done, from my initial inquiry 12:30 pm to final installation 6 pm. Well done Valdel!Finally Justin and Spiro were amazingly professional, so happy I selected Valdel!I know price and quality usually go hand and hand so here is to hoping that my return to BW will result in 15 (or more) years :)

Steven came out for a clogged sewer line. He installed a clean out in the crawl space since there was not one. We lost power before he was able to unclog the drain, but he came right back out the next morning when power was back to finish. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Valdel Plumbing as a whole is very responsive and able to get you on the schedule quickly. I have had Tim out a couple times before to fix other issues such as leaking pipes, installing a new shutoff valve, and replacing a pressure reducing valve. My experience was also exceptional which is why I continue to call with any issues that I have.

These guys were great. I had a slow draining bathtub, a garbage disposal that needed to be replaced and a kitchen faucet to replace as well. I was reluctant to use a new company, but Billy was professional and competent. And then I used my new faucet. It has spectacular water pressure (never have we ever had good water pressure. In the last five years living here we have had lackluster water, I didnt even know that this was possible living here).Having such a positive experience with Valdel for my kitchen faucet installation, I went back for the toilet installation. Tom was thoughtful and EXTREMELY competent. The new toilet works beautifully and it was quickly installed.Hopefully I will not have to have anything else installed, but if I do, I will go to Valdel!
