    We are very happy with this company - from the owner to the office staff to the technicians. They are very professional. They care about us as a customer. They care about providing excellent service. We became their customer after purchasing a whole house generator. Recently, our very personable technician, Chris, came out to assess an issue. He quickly identified a faulty part, ordered it and soon after installed it so that our generator was operational in short order. We trust this company and they are very responsive.

    They responded super fast, came when they said they would, rep was in a uniform, was professional in every way. Offered three options for the repair. I cant say how the prices were compared to other companies, because I didnt call anyone else, but the price seemed fair to me. Had my heat back up and running within an hour. There was a small issue, and they came back the same day and took care of it. Easy 5 stars.

    INTEGRITY KEEPERS:This is a professional company with honest, prices. I called and the next morning they were at our gym at the correct time as they said they would be. I spoke with Emily who is excellent and ALWAYS answers the phone. Jason came out right on time, and assessed the problem. He explained the problem and was courteous. I LOVE companies who are honest, have integrity and are on time, the customer service is supreme. Hutton sets high, fine standards. I hope everyone calls them.To be honest, I didnt make the appointment on time, and they still showed up and completed the work. How can anyone beat that? Highly recommend!

    Chris did an amazing job. He was very professional, he answered all of my questions and they were timely with everything. I had an emergency I called that evening and he came out that evening to look at the job and gave me an estimate and the next morning they were at the house. Job was completed by 12pm.     Chris arrived on time and thoroughly assessed the work needed. He not only explained the process clearly, addressing all my questions and concerns but took the time to provide examples of the current household standards. In addition to my quote he assured a rear security camera was wired correctly free of charge.He looked at external electrical side projects and made sure everything was up to code to. Chris went above and beyond to ensure that all fixtures and outlets were aligned and explained they could upgrade the fixtures as well.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Hutton Electric Heating and Air. I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work.

He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He identified the problem of which 2 previous companies were unable to do and he explained the issue in terms that I could understand .     Joe’s team at Hutton Heating, Electric & Air are 10/10 professionals. Everything from the estimate to the install is fantastic, including Emily who answers the phone and runs the scheduling. All the employees treat me with with courtesy and a positive attitude.I appreciate that their work is such high quality with a straight forward honest approach. Whenever I deal with Hutton techs I never feel as though they are trying to “get one over” on me with bad business techniques. At the end of the day, I always leave a happy customer.     We needed our panel replaced so that we could install a level 2 charger for our PHEV, and potentially add a mini-split to our FROG. My wife got three different companies out for estimates. Hutton came out to do the estimate, and it was the only company who opened both the panel and the meter, so we felt that they truly had an understanding of what the job entailed. Even though they werent the cheapest (and they werent the most expensive), we decided to go with them, and were glad we did!Jason came out to do the work - and much to our surprise, the electrician that did the estimate was the electrician that did the work! Everything was done quickly, and super neat. Our old panel was labeled lights/receptacles for a ton of circuits. I had gone through over the years, and updated the ones I had figured out with what it actually was (i.e. - den/server/wx station), and Jason copied those down on the label instead of the original. Not only that - I told him of my plans to do the mini-split myself, and he walked me through the type of wire/romex to buy, how to wire it in accordance with code, and even told me where to mount the 30 amp disconnect to stay within code, since it would be close to my natural gas. Most other companies would probably pitch their own services, but since he did that - it sold me on the company even more, especially since my wife eventually wants a standby generator.Again, they werent the cheapest - but you WONT be disappointed!

He clearly explained the cause and provided detailed instructions on how to properly fix it.Chris was not only knowledgeable and professional but also very courteous throughout his visit.     If I could give a 10, I would. This is a customer service based company. I had an old oil burner, which they replaced with a new HVAC heat pump. From the initial call for estimate to the install; this company is top notch. Everything and everyone was great.They keep you informed every step of the way. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Everyone in this company puts you the customer, first.I have never done a review for anything prior to this.I highly recommend this company for any of your needs.They are just the best.

    My HVAC needed some serious TLC. I was not an existing customer and called in need of emergency support. Emily got me scheduled same day! !I had a great experience with Joe and Mike. The situation required multiple visits and they rose to the occasion. Mike explained everything thoroughly and backed the explanation with pictures to show his assessments and work. They are honest and fair in their pricing. Completely respectful and kind. I am happy to say I am signed on as a continuing customer with Hutton!

    My mom was having a problem with her HVAC unit. We anticipated a huge bill forthcoming. Kris (technician) was AWESOME! He addressed our concerns and fears and solved the problem.     Had issues with upstairs lights. Called Dominion first and they came within a half hour and noted a neutral issue with the feed. They addressed but I still had issues so I called Hutton. Emily was able to schedule a tech visit within a couple of hours and he showed up on time, checked the system, replaced a bathroom multi-switch and everything seems to be in working order. Very satisfied with Dominion, Emily and Jason (the tech).

    We bought a new microwave from Home Depot and were all set to have them install it. However, the wiring set up from the previous owner of our home was not up to code and it was wired incorrectly. The installers couldn’t install it so I needed an electrician to fix the electrical issues plus install the microwave. Luckily I called Hutton. They responded quickly and got a technician out to our home lightning quick. Thomas Schafer was our tech and he was awesome!! Great service and he was friendly. Thank you Hutton!!

    The electrical in my house is out-dated and needs a lot of rewiring; a breaker tripped and we had exposed wires. Hutton responded quickly and I love that they send a pic and intro text of the technician. Kris was great at assessing our needs and issues, as well as being empathetic. He had a lot to do in a relatively short amount of time and even returned when I had concerns about a few items I felt were overlooked. I will ask for Kris on the next electrical projects we have to tackle. Prices are high but they offer different levels of service and I chose a higher one for added security and safety.

    I don’t even know where to begin. This business isn’t just a business. They are FAMILY. From the minute you call you are greeted with compassionate and caring service. They truly care about what’s going on. They have always been expeditious and ON TIME every time we have called. We have had everything from outlet replacements to a full panel replacement performed and every time the service is top notch. They are very upfront about pricing, offering multiple levels of options without compromising safety. They don’t cut corners and even when they find an obstacle, they are upfront on the cost without forcing unneeded services. We’ve had both Kris and Chris out and they are absolutely amazing technicians. Everyone that has shown up has been neat and tidy in appearance and their love for their profession shows in their work. After the work is done they always call to make sure everything is to our expectation and answer any extra questions we have since the tech left. Talking with Emily over the phone has been awesome as she always looks out for the customer and they definately go the extra mile. We even joined their monthly membership plan to ensure we remain up and running without concern. If you’ve gotten this far all I can say is you don’t need to look anywhere else. Call them. You will not be disappointed.

Their yearly pricing plan is competitive and the maintenance was completed in about an hour. Weve tried several companies over the years and are very happy with our decision to have Hutton take care of our generator.

    We bought our house a few years ago. It came with a generator. We have never had it serviced. Chris came out and got us fixed up in one day. Tuned up, programmed, oil and filters changed, and replaced the battery in a couple hours. I will come back for service next year.

The technician arrived early, was very polite, and did a great job replacing the components that have aged inside of the box. He also wore the appropriate PPE while he was doing the work. He was able to resolve the issues quickly, was great at explaining what happened & what needed to be done. He was even able to come out same day both times! We have found Hutton to be one of the most professional companies we have worked with and they always have great customer service. This is why we continue to use their services!Updating to add that we had Thomas complete a pretty hefty job (replacing circuit feeds and junction boxes) today and he was great!     Hutton did an excellent job with questions about a new Electrical Panel. Jason explained my panel was in good condition and they still can get parts for it.     Kris came to take a look at our house after we experienced some circuit breaker issues causing rooms to lose power. He was very professional and thorough, and took his time creating different prices and package options for us to decide on. Not only that, but he spent time explaining exactly what seemed to be our problems, and never made us feel pressured into any decision. We appreciated his honest thoughts on what may happen if we fixed or didn’t fix x, y, and z.     Hutton came to give me a price to replace my electrical panel or update. The technician did a thorough inspection of panel and box outside. The bottom line was the box was in good shape even though it was 30 years old. I had an another company come in and I was told you need a new box because of the age. I appreciated the tech being honest and would definitely use Hutton Electrical again. By the way, I am going to have them install a whole house surge protection and ground wire to the electrical box. Thank you Hutton, it is refreshing to find a honest tech and company.

And the quality of the work was outstanding — they installed a chandelier and replaced a number of cam lights. I beyond thrilled with how everything turned out!     We had an electrical emergency in our home and I was afraid to leave until it had been cleared by a bonafide electrician. We were so blessed to get Chris from Hutton Electric Heating and Air. HE WAS WONDERFUL!! Very knowledgeable in his craft and so patient in answering all of the questions that we had. He did not make me feel rushed to decide on the path of resolution for us but readily assured me that my problems would be resolved by the end of his visit. We were probably his last call for the day but he did not make us feel that he was in a hurry to go home. Chris was personable but not overbearing. It was easy to see that he enjoyed his job which was evident in the way he approached each task. He explained everything that he was doing and how it would make my home safer.     Daniel came out today and did a winter seasonal service on my unit. He went over all of my options (I ended up signing up for a monthly plan) and then covered a few optional things that could better my unit. He wasn’t pushy or aggressive with trying to get me to sign up for anything other than exactly what I needed today. I definitely appreciate it when service technicians listen to the customer and don’t try to upsell you just to make money. I will continue to be a customer of Hutton.

    Nothing but professional from the moment I called to schedule an appointment. Able to schedule a time that worked best for me. Chris was able to get here 45 minutes earlier than originally expected. Chris was very polite and professional. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in about 1 hour.     I got exceptional service from Hutton Electric Heating & Air! I called today at 11am to see if they could come out to troubleshoot a GFI outlet continuously tripping. I was expecting to have to wait at least a week before they would be able to get to us, but instead, they were able to get me on the schedule TODAY with a window from 12-5 and was told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival! I immediately got a text confirming the appointment. By 1pm I received the promised call and also a text, including the technicians name and a photo to know exactly who to expect. Kris arrived exactly when expected, he was clean, profesional, and friendly. He quickly figured out the issue and thoroughly walked me through some different options. He was very informative and knowledgeable.He completed the job in about 30 minutes. From my call at 11am, the job was completed 3 hours later!!     Today was the first time I’ve used this company. so far, impressed. I purchased this home in 2020 and have already had to call a technician for my heat/AC 3-4 times. No one could tell me what the problem was, much less suggest how to fix it. Until today! Joe actually sat down with me and explained everything. Some things I needed to hear more than once to understand. He was very patient. He wrote up six repair options for me to choose from. After I chose, he didn’t feel like I was ‘happy’ so he kept talking to me until he (and me too really) understood what I wanted, then we came to a new agreement.     Electric meter box replacement - Our electric meter box had corroded and needed a higher quality replacement. Our technician Kris Evans came out and reviewed the existing box and our grounding. He provided two estimates: one for the box and installation, and one for potential grounding repairs. We proceeded to schedule the work on both items.     It was difficult to find an electricians service that would work on a pool lighting system but Hutton Power and Light was able to complete the work I needed. The feature on their website with which you can supposedly reserve an appointment within a two-hour window is a little deceiving: I tried to schedule a next-day appointment online for first thing in the morning (although I would have been truly amazed if they could have made that appointment: I was putting this service to the test.) I received a call from Hutton P&L the next morning and was able to schedule an appointment one week out within a four-hour window. When that day arrived, they were not able to make that appointment. However, I received a couple phone calls along the way with updates regarding the delay. Their previous job that day took longer than predicted so they rescheduled me for the next day. They arrived that day within the agreed-upon four hour window to troubleshoot the job. I appreciated how the chief electrician, Joseph, communicated with me about the issues he found. I especially admired how he taught his assistant Tony what he was doing and explaining why. Joseph and Tony were unable to complete the job with the supplies that they had available and they could propose a potential remedy for the problem. He could not promise that the proposed remedy would solve the problem because the fault probably stemmed from underground wiring. Hutton P&L got me back on the schedule within two days to complete the job. A different electrician came out to do the repairs that day. Tommy was professional and efficient, as well. He completed the job in accordance with Josephs recommended course of action and the repairs worked perfectly.

    Hutton sent Tyler out to take a look at my dryer outlet. He quickly figured out I had a faulty outlet and that it needed to be replaced.     The best service ever! They are very curious to my concerns and with military level of attention to detail to the work that explaining and performing. Extremely fast too. I had paid for a a/c on monday, Wednesday morning it was blowing ice cold!     The entire experience with this company was fantastic and why I gave them 5 stars! We had a delay in service because of a traffic accident the technicians were behind delaying their arrival, and the office manager went out of her way to communicate with me about the delay and new arrival time. The two master electricians David & Joe walked through my home fixing all of the issues one by one that I had on my list like an amazing team. Very impressed as they determined how to repair my GFCI issues and explain the NFPA Code and how it applied. Not all of my self developed list required an electrician so the cost was also reduced and very reasonable. Appreciate the honesty and integrity applied.     Joe H. came out to my Virginia Beach rental property today (Sunday) to check out why the A/C wasn’t cooling the house, per my Tenants complaint. Turns out that there’s nothing wrong with the A/C unit at all...the issue is that it’s just so hot outside! Joe didn’t try to sell me on anything...he was fair and honest, in my opinion. He could have told me anything just to make a buck but he didn’t and I am so appreciative that there are still people like Joe out there! I told him about an issue that I’m currently experiencing with an A/C unit at another rental that I have here in Las Vegas and he was so nice to listen and give me some tips!     Hutton Power & Light is an excellent company! I have used this company twice, and with great satisfaction each time. The first job was fairly minor, in that I had an exterior light installed from scratch (powered to a new switch). The second job that I had the experts at Hutton accomplish was more complex. I wanted piece of mind in the event of an extended power outage (storm related most probable cause). To this extent, I had the Hutton team install a system that allows me to connect a portable gas generator directly to my electrical distribution panel through an inlet box. Essentially all I have to do is wheel the generator out of the garage, connect cable to a power box (plug it in), start generator, and then hit a switch on the newly installed (auxiliary) power panel. The switch and new panel allow me to power 2/3s of my house. A higher rated generator would power the entire house. Essentially, in the event of a power outage, within minutes, and with very little effort, the majority of my house will have electricity. The team at Hutton are professional and experienced. I will continue to use them for future electrical needs.

    Dave, and his brother Joe, just came out and gave me a MAJOR illumination upgrade in my living room and I can not believe how much different this room is now just from some lights! I can not recommend them more. They are so nice and professional they were a pleasure to have in the house.
