    I hired Capital City Electrical Services via Qmerit to install a level 2 charger in my garage for an EV. Ill give them kudos for speed of service and the courteousness of the electrician they sent from Norcross. They arrived same day from my early morning request to install at my residence.Professional install done by John Schaefer and most impressed with his level of customer service and commitment to make the job perfect.I did have some initial hiccups with the install and communication, but all were cleared up perfectly with John and I highly recommend them for installing a EV charger with hardwiring to an electrical panel. In addition, he repaired and covered the space below my electrical panel where a previous electrician removed a damaged surge protector.John even offered to paint the area around the PVC pipe, electrical box, and wood used to level the connection. He also explained the permitting process and the inspection that will be needed to complete the installation. Top notch service!Pictures includes to show the quality of work.

    Today this company installed a Tesla wall charger in our garage. Very glad I went with them. I received quotes from 3 companies and theirs was the most competitive while also providing impressive service. From John, who came out to provide the free estimate and Jason R. who did the work. Both were friendly and professional. They are a quality company with a lot of years experience with commercial and government work and are now looking to grow their residential business. Will definitely look them up again for any electrical work needed in our home in the future. Highly recommend.

    My husband and I got our dream car, a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq! Our car buying experience for our first electric vehicle wasn’t complete until we gotOur charging station installed at our home. Our experience with Capital City Electrical Services was nothing short of amazing! I was able to submit all of my information online, get a quote, and get serviced all in the SAME day! Our technician a Jason R was incredible. He was communicative, pleasant, and my goodness he knew his stuff! He was able to get our station installed exactly how my husband wanted it and our cat is currently charging in our garage right now. That man needs a raise, he was amazing!

    Capital City Electrical installed my EV home charger through Qmerit. This is my first foray into the world of EVs and unbeknownst to me, my home couldnt accomodate any more amperage for my charger install. John (residential project manger) came up with an awesome plan for my house that balanced safety and cost. They were able to come out and do the install within a week. It may have been even quicker but I had to wait for the delivery of my charging station from a third party company. Zach showed up right on time, got right to work, and finished the job in 3 hours, including the courtesy of changing a non-related broken outlet for me. The job was very neat and there was no trash or remnants of installation left on premisies. Zach helped me install the ChargePoint app, sign in, and showed me how to charge my new EV. I am very happy with my service from Capital City Electrical!

    Ok, purchased a new Chevy Bolt EUV and General Motors paid for the installation and permit for my charger. GM uses Qmerit to facilitate getting an Electric service company and the choice was Capital City. They were onsite Wednesday to get me their quote and the electrician was out Thursday to install. The electrician was Jason Rapnoltz. I was exhausted watching him and all the work going into the installation. He worked with us setting up the phone app and getting the Bolt setup with the home location based charging. Everything went great. The Bolt was at full charge at 5 pm. If you need a charger installation give them a call and ask for Jason.

    John Shaefer and Zack were amazing. I’m going to start at the beginning with John. From the moment he arrived, he explained everything in detail and walked us step by step through the whole ev charger installation process. First we’re going to do this, then that, because this, because that, we’ll be using this and that because of this and that, etc. We love details and we loved that he explained everything and answered all of our questions. He was able to fit us in the very next day, and I specifically asked if John could be there during the process because when you find someone who knows what they’re doing, you don’t want anyone else. We had other estimates, we didn’t get the same amount of detail and attention that we got with John. He told us another gentleman named Zack will come tomorrow and John will join him and lend a hand if need be. The next day, we met Zack. He clearly knew what he was doing, it was obvious. We found out that Zack had been doing it for years on the commercial side. The professionalism was undeniable. The best feeling you can get when dealing with someone is honesty, and that’s the feeling we got with Zack. He did the whole job with John assisting him here and there and when we asked them questions or had any concerns, you could tell their answers were honest and they made sure to address our concerns. I can’t tell you how important that kind of thing is to us. I want to thank both John and Zack for making this a pleasant experience.

Requested a quote online, Brianne responded to my email and was very patient with my questions and gathering information. John, who is a pleasure to talk to, very straightforward and honest guy, came the next day to do a quote for installing the Wall Connector and adding 2 outlets in the garage. 2 days later, Jason showed up the first thing in the morning and jump right in to start the job. He communicated with me along the way throughout the day. And finished the job on time, cleaned up and tested everything.Overall, as I was referred by my friend, I will not hesitated to recommend them to all my friends. They are probably not the cheapest one, but you get the professionalism and piece of mind.

    Jason Kapholtz came out after a lightning strike to install a whole home surge protector. We had gotten an estimate from a competing company that was outrageous and was going to involve adding a lot of things to our house that I don’t think we needed. Jason is punctual, communicates when he’s on the way, and is a great problem solver. We ended up having him come back out to do a circuit panel rejuvenation because a lot of our circuits are out of code now, and I’m really happy with the work and appreciate that he takes the time to explain how things work. He was even able to fix our doorbell without having to replace it. I really appreciate that. He doesn’t deride the previous electrical work that we’ve had done (which I’ve found to be typical but unhelpful), but is objective about what would be difficult about a job and what he’s able to do.

    I couldnt be more pleased with the intstallation of my Emporia EV charger at my home. The estimators came out when they said they would, poked around and were out within 20 minutes, and they told me it was a routine job and would be covered completely by Qmerit / Chevrolet. So I bought the charger and Jason from Capital City came out and installed it a couple of monrings later. I think it was five days from initial phone call until I was charging my new Bolt EUV in my driveway. Jason was courteous, friendly and professional and had the job wrapped up quickly enough for me to make my afternoon appointments. He knows a great deal about EV charges, and was helpful in getting the charger on my WiFi network, and even filled me in on some of the vagaries of the app. Great experience all around.

    I contacted Capital City to have my original-to-the-house fire hazard of a breaker panel replaced. John came out for an assessment, and he was completely transparent and honest about what was needed to replace the panel plus wire the house for smoke alarms, in order to bring the house up to code and meet inspection.     Brandon Yusko climbed several baseball field light poles to replace lamps and make repairs at Lassiter High School and Harrison High School. He was the only climber and he did all the climbing without any complaints. Also, Brandon completed repairs on the football field lights and baseball field lights at Kennesaw Mountain High School with the help of a 125 foot boom lift. He must be a valuable asset at and for Capital City Electrical Services. Brandon is very professional, courteous, and hard working. I would hope that his employer and supervisor are attentive to their employees and reward him with the proper compensation. Due to the dangerous situation, extreme height, safety responsibility, electrical knowledge required, and hazardous work condition Brandon should be provided with a substantial, adequate, and additional increase in salary for this kind of dangerous work. Electrical work can be dangerous alone, but when you add the extreme height of 70 feet to 100 feet of climbing a light pole additional compensation is warranted! He should be recognized and rewarded. I have a saying that I firmly believe, “ AWARDS ARE NICE BUT MONEY PAYS THE BILLS”. I am very pleased with the results of Brandon Yusko’s baseball fields and football field lighting repairs.
