Came to fix pipes under new faucet which were leaking. Stated what the thought was problem and fixed. Cost $185 and pipes are still leaking again. Workers were friendly and we thought they had things in hand but we still have a problem and cant use our new faucet yet.UPDATE:I was contacted by Bluegrass Plumbers who came back right away to make further adjustments and, found what truly was creating the leak. He explained exactly what he felt was the problem and then showed us just what he was doing step by step. Since he left yesterday we have seen ni sign of the leak and all seems well. We were very impressed with their follow up and wanting to get everything right. And, at no additional cost! We woukd definitely recommend them highly after showing and proving their concern to get things right.

We had a very complex job after a pipe break over the winter, splintered most of the water piping for our bathroom. Difficult access into a restricted space for repairs. The team did an amazing job, and even though we were on an afternoon call, they stayed until the job was complete. Taking 2 days wouldve been completely acceptable. They provided a quote up front after inspection, with very reasonable pricing. They made high-quality repairs at a great value for the cost. Friendly and knowledgeable, professionals. I highly recommend them.

May 2, 2024: We are very happy customers!Our water heater went out yesterday morning and we called a couple of local bigger name places, just because they were the first to come to mind. Nobody would give us a rough estimate without a service call, and of course only one could come that day, but not until almost 8pm.Frustrated, I kept looking and found KYPD. I liked that their website was professional, and that they appeared to prioritize transparency in pricing.One phone call with Victor, we texted three photos, and I had an estimate within 30 minutes. He even pointed out we could get a larger volume water tank for the same price as the smaller one we have, which was very much appreciated by the two teenagers in our home. All Without a service call or charge!My husband called to ask a couple more questions and we approved the estimate we were sent by email. Within an hour we had a service appointment for early today. Wow! Quick service!There were text updates as to any changes in the schedule.At 0915 they called to ask if they could come early, instead of noon. Super impressed with the crew that arrived. They drove a professional service van, clearly have a system in place, and wasted no time.Sam and his assistant were both friendly, well prepared with their tools and supplies, very organized, and efficient. They even allowed my teenage son to watch and ask questions, all while leaving me with a neat, cleaned up area around the new water heater (did I mention its in a 6ft high crawl space under our house?), lots of lovely hot water, and a very good experience with their company!A few hours later I received an email invoice and paid promptly online. They have the easiest and most effective communication, scheduling, and payment system I have ever interacted with. There was clearly a lot of thought and effort put into the design and format of the entire system. Im impressed.Five stars! Highly recommend! Thank you KYPD!May 14, 2024Since Google wont let me initiate a separate review, Ill add on to my last one. We had such a great experience with our water heater replacement we called them to replace our utility room water connections for the washer. They installed a new box and valves for our washing machine. We again had an excellent experience with the service call. They were friendly, professional, and even took their shoes off when they entered our home. They arrived well within the time block they gave us during scheduling and were quick and efficient. They cleaned up the work area (much appreciated) and left us with a ready-to-use area. I wish every business worked as effectively as KYPD. Theyre fantastic!

Wow. Professionalism at its best. At least what I experienced so far. Yesterday they installed a new water. To start with, I love the Details of installation. They put pipe goop glue on the pipe threads to help seal and then screw the threaded pipe together. Only natural to see some pipe glue is exposed. They took the time to completely wipe of the exposed glue off that showed on the outside. This prevents the workmanship from looking sloppy. Then they used some shims to help level the water heater almost perfectly. Then they trim the extra exposed shims back to make it look perfect and not sloppy. This water heater is picture prefect. No sloppy work, attention to detail, efficient work, and answered any questions we had. I could go on further about the detail of workmanship and trust me, my wife is picky and she was so impressed. Do you know of many plumbing companies that truly pay attention to detail? If I could, I would give them a 10 star. Again, it has only been one day, but so far so good!

They bought the replacement and came back and fixed it the same day so I wouldn’t have to take off work again. They went above and beyond and fixed the dishwasher vent that a previous plumber installed improperly when the counters were replaced so my dishwasher wouldn’t leak even though that’s not why they were originally there. 10/10 recommend!

We were given Jake’s number by a neighbor as a recommendation. KYPD plumbing just finished up our final inspection on a 5300 square-foot remodel of 100-year-old home. The entire home was re-plumbed including water line and sewer line to the street.I would recommend Jake and his crew for any job! They showed up on time, did excellent work, and got the job done quickly. Jake personally came to make sure all of our fixtures were in correctly even though we had to troubleshoot the Ikea vanities I had ordered. I will also mention that in the chaos of remodeling a home with many kids, we had a vanity show up that was not fully put together and to help things keep moving, one of his guys built it and installed it, no questions asked. I also appreciated their attention to detail and setting vessel sinks.Jake, the owner, was patient and fair throughout the whole process—even in the midst of a pandemic! We are so thankful we found such great plumbers!
