I recently had Aboveboard Electric estimate and then hook-up power from our home to our pole barn in the back...over 100 feet away. The barn had no power and now has outlets and lights. Also connected was our potting shed near the barn. It also now has a light and outlets. Wonderful! Not only were all the members of the electric company friendly but experienced, capable and hard working. They persevered through constant rain and muck to run power lines and set up outlet boxes and finished in just a few days. I could not be happier with the job they did and service they supplied. We paid a fair price for exemplary workmanship...with smiles. Well done and happy to recommend their talents to anyone in need of electrical services. We are happy customers.

Very responsive company! I could arrange an appt right away, and the work was scheduled quickly. They did a thorough job. The only downside was I think they were a tad more expensive than the other companies I contacted, but the other companies were backed up for months. It was well worth a few more dollars to get such great service.

The office staff was trying so hard for us. Being shorthanded and coming up on the weekend was a double whammy. They handled my phone calls so well and never did I think I was a bother like I have felt from other companies in the past. They came out as soon as they could and got us up and going. They explained what happened in terms that I could understand without making me feel like they were talking down to me. They were very professional. Given how many times we have needed them, I would recommend them any and everytime.

The electrician was honest about his findings (cause of problem not definitely identifiable) and did a good job (fix what is probably the cause). Price was reasonable. This is the second time I’ve used Aboveboard and I will call them again when the inevitable next problem arises (weird old house).

It was as simple as updating the current recessed lights, and it proved to be a less expensive solution. The outcome was that it turned out much better results than I expected.

We’ve had two electricians out for bids to install a special outlet for my EV (220?) they were scheduled weeks out and then never sent us a bid. We were about to call someone in the valley when a friend recommended Aboveboard Electric. I wish I had called them first! Now in addition to the outlet in our garage we needed a 110 installed in our kitchen as we are converting to a gas range. When Tom & Anthony arrived they explained that once the 220 in the kitchen was switched to a 110 I wouldn’t be able to use my stove until the new range was delivered and installed. Which was scheduled more than a week later. They arranged to come out first thing on the morning of the delivery so I wouldn’t be without a way to cook for my family. I’ll admit I was worried that they might not come back based on my previous experience. But true to their word, they called the night before to make sure I still needed them & arrived first thing in the morning on the day of delivery. Talk about service! They did a wonderful job, were quick and my new outlets are perfect. I will be using them in the future and will recommend them to anyone needing a great local company to work with.

Randy was great when he came out to do the estimate. And his guys were great when they came to do the work. The power company had to cancel because of a wind storm. Part of the work to be done was to disconnect an outlet inside so we can do a remodel of our kitchen. They came out on a separate date and took care of the outlet.I have no complaints about the quality of work. However the communication was horrible. I would have to call to find out what the quote was, when I was going to be scheduled. The gal in the office would say she had to call me right back and after days would pass I would have to call her again. When I pointed it out to her she said she was waiting on a text from the power company. I told here it happened every time I called. She said she would call me right back and she didnt. I had to call her two days later.

Courteous and professional. Used plumbing and electrical on office remodel. Only complaint is that they did not clean up after themselves very well. They also collaborated well with the other contractors. I would use them again.

Very professional electrician and apprentice. They first came out to replace a toe kick heater which ended up having the wrong size front panel. Had to wait a couple of months before the right panel arrived. But they followed through and installed the heater shortly after. Very happy with their service.

Lilli in the office was essential in booking this repair and was a pleasure to deal with*Randy and the crew are, simply put, masters of their craft. Its almost like Jesus Christ himself blessed this company to carry out their duties with reverent passion. Randy fixed the lights at the ballpark so we can continue to play at night. The last thing I need in my life is not be able to see and take a line drive to the face. I made an excellent running catch last night all because I could see. I had them come out a 2nd time since they did such a great job on my shop. Again....great job. There was a small wiring issue with my hot tub which was part of the 2nd job. Yaknow they came back out the next day after I called them and stuck with it until the tub worked. They could have tossed up their hands and said call the hot tub people.....but they didnt, they got on the phone with the hot tub techs and worked the problem to resolution. Plus with all the new lights they installed on the 2nd job, my shop looks like a POW camp at night.....puuurrrrfect. I will be delighted to pay my invoice. Good guys, Tom is the man, Randy was patient and diligent on the service delivery level. I didnt catch the two fellas names who came out and did the tub for me....they were both top notch as well.
