Lost the power to half the lights in my house and couldnt find the issue after a full day of crawling in the attic and crawlspace to find the problem. Gave them a call and asked if they did emergency service calls. They had a technician out less than an hour later who found the problem and offered to correct it. He showed me how he found it and taught me a few tricks should something like it happen again. Definitely my first go to if I have any other problems

We asked these wonderful folks about installing a car charger and a 50 amp hookup for our camper. The initial virtual appointment was setup quickly, the survey was very thorough and the intricacies of what we needed to do (and why) with our current setup to make it work well. We received our quote very quickly and as soon as we paid our deposit they got the ball rolling for us. Once they were able to get to power company to do their part everything was smooth and easy. The install team was timely each day, communicated with us very well and did a wonderful job. We are very satisfied with their whole team, and the job that they did at our home and are super appreciative of their willingness to work at our place out in the boonies. Thank you very much, yall are fantastic.

I have since paid my slightly delinquent tax bill, which could have been more, had I been even later in paying. What a great experience.We had originally contacted another company to put a junction box and bracket in so we could put up a ceiling fan in our Living Room. The other company showed up unprepared. I contracted Go Green and we set a date and time. Holly arrived on time. She was polite, professional, and a all round good person. She is very detail oriented, answered all my questions in a way that made sense and was very understandable to me. Holly did a great job. We are highly impressed. The prices for Go Green are very reasonable. Also there set pricing system is great. You know how much the job is going to be before hand. The quality work was excellent.Why take chances with something as important as your house. GO Green is now our electrical go to. I trust them to do the job well. I would defiantly without reservation recommend Go Green.

Wow. What a fabulous experience. Our 83 year old house was in need of replacing all of our outlets and fixtures on the interior and exterior of the house. They also added a few outlets and updated our security doorbell. Ryan was professional and efficient. He took the time to work with us on the details - for example, in the middle of replacing our ceiling fan, he realized it wasnt quite on center so he moved it the 2 it needed to be perfect. He was direct and honest about what he was doing, how he was doing it, and made sure we 110% understood what was happening at all times.Additionally, Ryan had a younger apprentice with him on a few occasions - I overheard his supervisory style, which was awesome. Ryan took the time to explain everything to him - the reasoning behind his decisions, the way to remove an outlet cover, etc. It was awesome to see that GoGreen supports the growth of younger tradespeople.I look forward to recommending GoGreen to all of our friends and family. We are grateful to work with a local , homegrown company.

I had an amazing experience with Go green Electric , The manager Judson was very professional and proficient. The staff were also very warming to my situation, they offered me coffee and food and at a very convenient business location right at the corner of Jefferson Ave . I never knew getting my 200 meter base would be such a hart warming experience . My electrician Brandon did a great job he was very persistent in informing me on what actions he was taking and when . Out of all the services Ive ever had done to my house no one ever took the time to explain exactly what they they were doing as Brandon did. Recently had an issue with my house that started at 5pm where my power was rapidly turning on and off to only certain parts of my house. My appliances looked like they were receiving only a little power not enough to turn off and definitely not enough to operate. My living room lights were going off like a strobe light, and none of my outlets downstairs wouldn’t work. Everything on the second floor was working just fine. To top it all off none of my circuit breakers we’re switching off? Since it’s late it would now be an emergency to hire an electrician which is $250 just for them to show up. We looked for electricians near us and came across Go Green Electric. Even late at night one of their electricians answered my call. Instead of coming out and easily collecting over $250 he spoke with us over the phone to get some details of what’s happening to troubleshoot what the issue maybe. After we gave him the details he informed us it doesn’t sound like your house has a problem it might be an issue with Dominion. He told us to give them a call and if the issue isn’t resolve to give him a call back and he will come and take a look. After speaking with Dominion they were not aware of any issues in our area but will investigate. Sure enough Dominion found out some of their equipment was faulty and was causing the issue. Go Green Electric has definitely proven to my family that they are a honest company and their focus and interest is purely on make sure your home is electrically safe and operating the way things should rather than scamming and making a quick buck. Definitely will only be doing business with Go Green electric for all my electrician needs. Thank you Go Green Electric and to the electrician Judson for all your help!

I was linked to Go Green from Best Buy and the Mr. Electric network to survey and install a Level 2, 240V charger for my 2013 Ford Focus Electric. As this was the first Focus Electric delivered for central Virginia it was a new process for everyone. They discounted the quote for labor down from the amount recommended by Ford so it was more affordable than planned. The owner was involved and interested from the start and the electrician who did the install was knowledgeable and experienced enough to solve a couple of issues on the same trip with safe and sound practices. The workmanship was great and the Level 2 charger easily completes the charging of my Ford Focus Battery EV each night after 0100 at the off-off-peak rate of 5.5 cents per KWh. I now pay about $3-4 a week in electricity to commute to work instead of $30-35 in gasoline. Id recommend Go Green for any domestic electrical work you need.
