I had erosion on my gas pipe and there was a gas leak. Boris came to replace all my gas pipes. They are very professional. They finished their work very promptly. Boris helped file the required documents including the asbestos report to get clearance from the DOB. The DOB conducted their inspection and gave us the gas authorization to have the gas turned back on.

Before taking the job and any payment he came out to our location to be positive he could do the work (we are dealing with DOB and ConEd) with no complications. I had a great experience with Boris Mechanical. I arrived at work on Sunday morning (February, 2015) to find an inch of water covering our floor. I called and a live person answered the phone. They were able to send a technician over in about an hour (pretty good for a Sunday!). The technician was very nice and efficient. The water had already covered a large area of our basement and was seeping out from underneath walls in multiple places. He diagnosed our problem very quickly (a busted and leaking water heater), but still completed a thorough inspection of the building to confirm. He was extremely patient with me, even when I was not exactly sure where the shut off for the main water line was. (He found it!) The technician removed the water, picked up and installed the new water heater and tested it to make sure it was working all within the same day. The building I work in is a Landmark building, so we were extremely grateful for Boris Mechanicals professionalism and efficiency. If the problem had not been resolved so quickly, we could have had a lot of structural issues and water damage. I definitely recommend this company.
