Great experience.Started horribly wrong with my day after seeing this breaking apart in my bathroom. Called Active simply because they happened to be nearby. Told them what happened, they came same day and provided me feedback on how their order of operations goes.They started with repairing the pipes that caused this heavy leak to break through my bathroom. Added plaster, and finished with a paint job.I can tell they were professional from the start. Its been a few days and everything seems to be better than when I moved in!

Positioning of a TV to be mounted is not easy. I was delighted that tom took the time to with me to figure out where to position it in order provide optimum visibility. There were also so many things in the way of spots that would have provided the “easiest” mounting. He ended up choosing the spot that was a much trickier job for him, but which was the perfect spot for our TV. This perfect spot was not close to a power socket, so we will so grateful that he neatly secured our extension cable and made it as concealed as possible. I really loved all the added considerations this handyman took. Thank you!

Wouldve been calling you guys if I found out sooner that the leak repair service wouldve been your expertise! After many other handyman to come in and try to fix this leak, Active was the only company to actually fix the problem. Great help!

With a massive turnover in our commercial kitchen our old extractor fan got clogged up fast. Active Handyman was great at suggesting an extractor fan that would cope with the toll it would take on a daily basis. Also got the planning permission for us to get it installed. We moved where the oven was as it didn’t make sense to the flow of the kitchen. Him and his team helped as rearrange everything and just made the process much smoother.

Tom and his crew installed an attic staircase in my house after I broke the one we had. The old one wasnt installed properly, and was far too small to handle any kind of load. They removed the old ladder, built a new frame, installed a new ladder, finished, and painted. It looks great, and I have all the confidence in the world that I wont be taking a tumble because my ladder broke under a small amount of weight. I will definitely use active handyman again, and I recommend them without hesitation.

Im so happy with the work tom and his team did! Tom came to our home on a Sunday to give us a quote. He was very prompt and courteous. We asked for several quotes for various projects. Tom got us our quote very quickly and had each project quoted separately. His prices were fair.We selected the two most pressing projects and Tom scheduled for the work to start a week later. Samuel and another person came out to complete our project. They were fast and efficient. He had great communication with us the entire time. I plan on using Tom for any other projects

His guys are always on time, work hard, and are very professional. They pay great attention to the detailed parts of the my historic house. They are also highly trustworthy, I left them the keys to my home for a week while I was on vacation so that they could repaint it.

Replaced our dingy mouldy shower with a big concrete-floored shower. Pulled out all the old doors. Repainted everything. Made it much bigger, installed a new window above to prevent repeat mould. Looks wonderful and is wonderful to shower in.

I’m so happy I got my door handle and lock replaced. The fixer did not damage the door whatsoever and it now works like a door is meant to! No sticking points whatsoever and the key slides in and out easily. This lock works so well and think we are going to do the rest if the doors with them as well! We will definitely get Tom to do the other replacements as well.

Been having continual problems with our plug circuits tripping. They eventually narrowed down the problem to our circuit breaker. They had a great electrician on dial to replace our circuit breaker and we have not had a similar problem since.
