FANTASTIC job. We have found our new plumbers! Southern Plumbing Works have reasonable prices and won’t up charge you. The boys that came to the house today did a wonderful job putting in a water line, spigot and fixed a small leak. They were informative, polite, on time and just plain great. I’ve had great experiences with Southern Plumbing and would highly recommend Michael Kelley as a technician. They’ve helped me bring my 1945 home into the present. New sump, new water heater, moved my whole house cutoff and fixed a leak I didn’t even know I had because it was in the dark depths of the creepy crawlspace. Changed out all my fixtures, bath and kitchen. Michael is very personable and very competent. The sump work was over a year ago and it’s still chugging like a champ and he checked it today without me even asking him to check it, he just wanted to make sure his prior work was still up to par. I found their rates to be reasonable.And a side note, during the arctic freeze in December, my pipes froze on the very last day (very little insulation in crawl space, surprised they made it that long). They hadn’t burst yet that I could see but I called Southern to see if they could come out. Since I was a current customer they promised they would come by end of day even though they were slammed with people with issues. They called on the way 90 minutes later. In the meantime my pipes unfroze and I had no issues so let them know to help others. Their service is top notch.ETA: just had a whole home water purifier installed as the arctic weather faucet dripping showed me how chlorinated my water is, it bleached out a washcloth within an hour of being dripped on (to muffle the sound). Install went great. Michael and Zack did a great job and water already tastes better. Looking forward to the skin impacts.

FANTASTIC!!! What a great company to find (and believe you me I take my time to find a good company over a get it done now solution). Jeff/Crew came out within a day of me calling, on time and stayed until the job was done. IDthink any of us thought this job would be as extensive as it was! We also had a broken faucet and they repaired that faster than it took me to pick out a replacement faucet! Overall a great company that I will definitely use again!

I contacted Southern Plumbing Works after reading some online reviews from the area. Jeff responded to my email within 20 minutes and we set up an appointment for the next day. He contacted me a few hours later and was able to fit me immediately. Michael was the technician, he was courteous, professional and efficient. The area was clean and he disposed of all the old plumbing for me. I would definitely contact Southern Plumbing Works again in the future.

I chose Southern Plumbing based on one recommendation and was very pleased with how quickly they were able to install my new drop-in sink. Technician Michael was professional and thorough. He put up with my incessant questions regarding the process. (Plus he was kind to my dog!). He gave me reasonable information regarding a third plumbing problem area in my 1930s house and quoted me a good price for that fix; Southern Plumbing will get that job as well.

We needed a quick installation of a new kitchen faucet after our existing faucet started leaking. I called several other companies but couldnt get anyone to come for 2-3 days. I happened to pass one of Southern Plumbings trucks in my neighborhood and gave them a call. Jeff answered and was so nice and helpful! He was able to send someone out to me between 11-1 that same day. Michael showed up promptly at 11 and was incredibly professional. He wore booties to protect his shoes, was prepared with all the right equipment and gave me a fair and accurate estimate for the work. Though our sink gave him a little trouble, he had replaced the faucet, cleaned up the sink and disposed of all the trash within 45 minutes. He was so friendly, personable and professional. We will definitely be using SPW again for future needs. Thanks so much for the great service!

Based on my experience, I highly recommend using Southern Plumbing Works. I had several issues to be addressed and did not have a plumber in mind. I had used a couple of plumbers in the past but found them to be less than responsive and professional. My service technician was Michael. Companys are only as good as their employees. And Michael was outstanding. He diagnosed the issues, gave me alternative options, as well as pricing for each. He was on time and called before coming. He was polite, respectful, professional, and explained my issues on laymans terms. I will continue to use Southern Plumbing Works. Great job Michael!

I had sent an email asking for a quote on a thermal expansion tank installation on a Tuesday right around 8:30am. By 9:00am Jeff responded with a phone call to get some more details about what was needed. He said a tech was in my area and could stop by that morning, which was great! Within 30 minutes Michael (the tech) arrived to assess the job and provide a quote! Not only that but he was able to do the job right then and there. Michael answered all my questions and concerns about some of the plumbing (had just purchased the house), he was super professional and did great work.This was the first time using Southern Plumbing Works but it will not be the last! From initial email to job completion all before 12:00pm! There were some other issues going on as a result of not having the expansion tank which were also resolved with this install.Very happy and cant wait to work with them again on the next project.

They even resolved some issues with the flapper left by the original install of the previous toilet. There’s a reason Jeff and crew have 5 star reviews. I’ve been burned by two different plumbing companies in the past two years so I did my homework. SPW just installed my new tankless water heater and removed my old electric one. They were reasonably priced and did great work. I used them previously to unclog pipes that another plumber charged a fortune for and then blamed me for stopping up sink again (4 days later) although I was out of town. I called Jeff and his guys found source and fixed in 30 minutes at 1/4 cost. Be careful. There’s some really bad plumbing companies out there. I was very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. I noticed a leak in my water heater on Sunday night. I called Southern plumbing works on Monday morning and spoke to Jeff with questions and concerns about my water heater, he was able to answer all my questions and Michael arrived at my house within an hour. They were able to get me taken care of that day with a new water heater ! They took the stress out of an unexpected stressful situation!

I had a leaking water heater, and within a few hours, there was a technician to evaluate the situation and provide a reasonable replacement for our 15-year-plus water heater. I had a new water heater and hot water within a few hours. Also, when you receive a recommendation from a master plumber in the area for Jeff and his team, you know you are in good hands.

Southern Plumbing came over to my house yesterday to complete some repairs. After installing a new, deep sink, I needed them to redo the plumbing under the kitchen sink and install the new faucet (tight squeeze behind the new sink). They also installed a new vanity and faucet which required removing the old first. They installed new bathtub fixtures, which included replacing the inside plumbing to match the brand I bought. They also replaced the insides of a toilet, which were worn out. Finally, they moved a showerhead pipe to the right to the center and up. Jeff and his assistant arrived at about 8:30 a.m. and were finished by 12:00 p.m. I definitely recommend them because they have a great team and provide excellent service.

Jeff and his crew came onsite first thing. I had all old sewer pipes replaced from under my house (50-60 years old, crawlspace) with new pipes, replaced all galvanized water pipes, turn-off valves under sinks and toilets, replaced three outside faucets with frost proof faucets and replaced two old toilets with new. Probably some other stuff, I forget. The crew was organized, cleaned up the worksite, in fact took away some old pipes left in the crawl space, and were done in one long day. They are a small local company, which I like to support, but very professional. The cost was competitive with other quotes I got. I will certainly use them again.
