We couldnt be more impressed with South Star- what a great team and overall experience!We had a good bit of electrical work done in our house including a new sub panel, many new outlets, and a generac installation. Their teams were all so friendly and professional, and the pricing was extremely reasonable (in line or lower than other competitors we got quotes from).They also found a major issue with the way our home electricity was initially installed and fixed it with minimal additional charge.We will definitely use and recommend South Star going forward.Shout out to Nerissa, Zach, Ryan, and Cameron! This is the second time weve used South Star for ceiling light installation. They arrived when they said they would; they were very neat and professional and their work was perfect. Recessed lights installed and no need to repair or touch up the ceilings. Also reasonable price.We will use them again and highly recommend them to everyone

These guys know there craft. They installed a new 200 amp service in my home to replace an old 100 amp panel. Also put in smoke detectors. They were quick to answer my calls. All my considerations were met. Zack and Chance were able to do the job in the time they told me. Dominion Power was the only glitch, they were late to turn off the Power but South Star handeled the late start well. Great guys to work with. Oh yeah , they wore mask , which was cool with my wife. Had three other companies give estimates; two of them wouldn’t call me back to talk about the job. The other was way to expensive But good for me South Stars estimate was the most reasonable and lowest. I highly recommend this electric company.

Highly recommended! Called this morning and talked to Zack. Even though he was booked up he offered to try and fit me into his schedule. Sure enough Zack followed up and sent two of his guys by my house this afternoon and they did a great job solving my problem. Will definitely use South Star Electrical again!

I needed an electrician for a small job and searched on Google Maps. Found South Star Electrical and called them this morning and boy Im glad I did! The owner Zack was very responsive and said he would try to fit me in even though his calendar was booked up today. Sure enough he called back a few hours later and let me know that his guys would be coming by this afternoon. Brett and Cameron called to let me know they were on the way and showed up exactly when promised. They were able to quickly fixing my electrical problem and could not have been more polite. I would highly recommend South Star Electrical!

Zack and his team responded to our inquiry right away and completed the job so efficiently! They even went and purchased the materials at Lowes and Home Depot! They were hired by Palmetto Environmental Solutions to add electricity to our crawl space, hook up the humidifier panel. The owner, Zach communicated several times. He wanted to make sure his guys were coming at a convenient time. The guys really seemed to enjoy their job. They had a great attitude, they explained what they were going to do, how long it should take and answered all of my questions. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure we approved their work before they left our house, They explained the new panel. Super Happy! Can’t wait to get them started in the rest of the house.

I had an interlock switch and outlet installed in my house for a generator. Zack came out the day after I called to give an estimate, and the work was completed within a few business day despite an upcoming tropical storm/hurricane. Zack was great with communication, all staff showed up when expected and were professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to show me how to use the interlock switch as well. Pricing as also better than the other quote I got. Would recommend!
