My wife and i are very happy we found Southern Skye Plumbing (formally known as What the Plumb). At first we had them come by for a relative small job. We were so pleased with the crew for the professional approach and Great job we called them back for more work on our home. This time for a complete replacement of 60 year old drain pipes throughout the entire house. We must say we are very very Happy with them, they even clean up work area when finished and haul away the old. We plan to use them for all future projects. We used Southern Skye Plumbing for a complete remodel of kitchen and 3 bathrooms. They did all the plumbing which included 7 new faucets and 2 bath showers and a tub. It was a big job and I have to say they did great work! They were on time, and very professional. We were very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend Jonathan and his crew.

We had a leak in our water line. They came out the next day and fixed it. They reset our yard and seeded the soil. The price was well below other big companies and they were responsive and timely. No surprises. Then, when our toilet ring broke, a service person came that same day. I can’t say how impressed we were with this company.

Friday before Christmas (Monday) Drains wouldnt drain so called. Turned out to be on Metro Nashville side. Stayed late to meet with Metro who didnt have the right equipment. Came back on Sat morning and stayed most of day. Cleaned entire yard and put down straw so that it wasnt a muddy mess. Told me he wasnt going to leave me without plumbing for the holidays. Was EXTREMELY REASONABLE PRICE. Highly recommended.

Very highly recommend Southern Skye! We had an issue in our home with a Saniflo upflush toilet after the winter storm. We got quotes from two larger plumbing companies...after a very quick look both confidently told us that the issue required a pump replacement and each quoted us over $2500 for parts/labor. After those unbelievably high quotes, I called Southern Skye to get a third opinion. The employees who stopped by were very friendly and very thorough - they did a real inspection and realized the part didnt need to be replaced at all, there was just a piece of construction debris that needed to be removed. This commitment to thoroughness saved my family well over $2000 - and they had the job done in thirty minutes! The entire experience was great and everyone was very friendly - from scheduling the appointment to the inspection and work, all the way to invoicing. This is a local, family-run business that is committed to their customers. I learned my lesson on going to the big companies - if you want thoroughness and getting the job done right, go with Southern Skye!

My hot water heater went out while I was out of town. What the Plumb was able to get to me quickly and replace my worn out gas water heater with a new one. The cost was very reasonable, they were prompt and professional. I hope I don’t need them again any time soon but if I do I’ll be calling What the Plumb.
