    I was doing a DIY bathroom remodel. I got in over my head with the plumbing. Called in the pros. Great customer service. They called and asked if they could come earlier - yes :). They explained the repair clearly. They were quick, did a couple of minor extras and I was happy with the price. You can’t get better than that. I highly recommend Reed & Sons.

    Had a leak into my utility room, with the old trusty bucket underneath. I was referred by a coworker to Reed and Sons and very glad for it.KC and Matt came by right at the scheduled time window and quickly discovered the source of my leak, my pressure switch. They were able to give an estimate and fix it on the spot. They also checked my water quality/filters and worked up some estimates for other things that will need to be replaced soon.They were professional, personable, and highly knowledgeable in their craft. Great at explaining things well, so it was easy for me to understand. I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into anything I didn’t need, but given options to fit my house/lifestyle/needs.I would 100% recommend them to anyone I know and will be using them again in the future.     Initial: November 2023The crew (KC, Matt) arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, worked hard to correct it, and charged a reasonable rate. What more can one ask? R&S is at the top of my list for any future plumbing projects!Update: April 2023The crew (KC, Vince, Matt, Mike) did an outstanding job of clearing, descaling, and lining the network of old cast iron septic pipes in my 1973 residence. Their non-invasive, cured-in-place approach completely avoided the mess and inconvenience of slab excavation or pipe bursting and is a game changer for sure. Their cutting-edge equipment employs the latest technology and worked beautifully. All challenges encountered with the job (typical for my older house!) were overcome with wisdom and expertise. Everyone was friendly and professional, all areas of the house and property involved were left clean, and I am relieved that root penetration and collapse are no longer concerns. Also, Im quite impressed with how the company is managed. The crew worked effectively as a team, the owner (Patrick) visited several times to check in with us, and considering the increase in scope as other problems were discovered, the final cost was reasonable and fair. Highly recommended!

    I called about getting an estimate to install a utility sink and they were able to send someone out the same day. Shad and Dallas did a thorough review of options (drain line wasn’t going to be easy) and explained pros and cons of each to us. We thought about it overnight and got the work scheduled within a week, around a holiday. They showed up on time, asked questions to make sure I got the installation I wanted, and walked me through things to watch out for before they left. Very happy with my new plumbers!

    Woke up this morning to a kitchen sink that was not draining at all. Attempted to take care of it myself to no avail. So I called Reed and Son Services at around 8am. They said they could make it out the next day at 10am, but would try to get out today if anything fell through with other bookings on their end.At 9:30 I received a call that said they could be there at 10am, same day. Chad and Shad were on time and spent about hours clearing out God only knows what kind of grease mess from the previous owners of our home. It was nasty work, but they were extremely professional and took great care. They provided a free estimate, explained two different options (one to just clear the line and the other to Hydro Jet). I went with the more expensive Hydro Jet option, but they were able to provide me with a military discount.Overall, a good experience for a crappy, but necessary and urgent plumbing fix. I would definitely recommend Reed and Son and would like to thank Chad and Shad for their hard work.UPDATED Review from a major repair that Reed and Sons did for us.Within less than 72 hours of our water main breaking, Reed and Sons had our house back on potable water with a new main re-routed across the property and installed. They did everything they could to make this awful repair go by as quickly as possible. They even jury-rigged a temporary water supply off our neighbors hose bib (with their permission of course) in order to get us limited water as the repairs were going down. They also cleaned up some piping and valves around my water heater, making it a more sturdy, professional installation.Good aint cheap and cheap aint good. Reed and Sons did right by us and were lifelong customers from this point on.

    Alex and crew from Reed and sons did a great job getting us up and running with a new pump, cold water holding tank with a whole house sediment filter. We went from no water to up and running really fast. They did a great job, very professional and feel comfortable with all the work that was done. Have used Reed &sons for many years. Don’t like to have to call them, but when I do I’m very happy with their work!

    I can not say enough about Vince and Nicholas! They are great, very professional, clean up after themshelves, explain everything they are doing or done. They fixed an issue at the house I was moving from in two days and have been to where I moved 2 times. Yesterday they replaced the sink, faucets, and everything under the sink as well. Great job! I dont have anything else now but will have them again when I need something! Great guys!!

    Yesterday I called Reed and Son Plumbing for an estimate to install 3 toilets in my home. They came to my home and gave us estimates on purchasing 3 toilets and installing upon our approval. After our ok within the hour Nick returned with the toilets and started the install. Nick was joined with John and they installed the toilets. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and both Nick and John were very knowledgeable and explained in detail what they had done. They both have great customer service and we will not hesitate to to call Reed and Son Plumbing for any of our future plumbing needs.

    Reed and Son is my go-to company for all plumbing needs! I recently had a water softener system installed by them, which helped me discover a water leak in the main line that runs from the county meter to the underground of my backyard. They came out quickly to replace the line and they upgraded my old system in the basement bringing me up to code. Fair pricing despite complications during this major job and great customer service. I highly recommend this company!

    Our technician John came in and saved the day! We were having issues with our toilet for several days, and we gave Reed a call and within 1 day they came out.     Reed and Son Services LLC is by far the best experience we have had with a plumbing service since moving to our home. Previous plumbers have left us with shoddy work and not been nearly as accessible as Reed and Son. KC and Matt were our most recent plumbers to come to service our home, and were nothing but quick and professional. With a busted water heater we were back up and running in no time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Wonderful experience and they are our exclusive plumbing service moving forward.

    We had a leak from our main water pipes which required cutting into our walls and fixing a pretty good length of pipe. Shad and Dallas explained everything to us before working and kept everything as conservative and clean as possible. We were VERY pleased as always with the work. Its much appreciated when most situations that require a pro can be pretty extensive. I will never use another plumbing service!

    Excellent service. The plumbers were respectful of my property and my cats. They explained everything and answered all our questions. They did a fantastic job and the room was cleaner than when they started.     We had our well water pressure tank tank replaced in 2022 by Reed & Son and they did a fantastic job. So when our well casing started leaking we called them again. They were out the next day, dug up and replaced the pitless adapter and replaced our 23 year old well pump. They also installed a new whole house filter. All this was completed within several hours and it was done with care and professionalism. The picture shows what a neat job Vince & Gary did installing the filter! Kudos to Patrick, Vince, Nick, and Gary for excellent service.

    We discovered a leak in our ceiling at 7pm, we spoke to somebody at Reed& son shortly there after, and she was able to send someone the following morning. (We were ok waiting since it wasn’t an active leak) The team that showed up first thing in the morning were very friendly and professional.     Had a clogged lavatory sink drain that ran under a concrete slab. I thought the worst for a 50 year old cast iron pipe. Joe and his assistant arrived on time and remedied the problem in a very efficient and economical manner. I would use them again and highly recommend Reed and son for any of your plumbing needs.

    Shad & Dallas were everything you could ask for in a pair of technicians: Prompt, respectful, knowledgeable, and kind. When they tell you theyre not there to sell you anything you dont need, you can believe them. Our water heater was broken. The company that originally installed it essentially told us that they didnt have time for us unless it was an emergency (if its an emergency, they can charge an additional fee). We called another company who said theyd do a free estimate. They came to the house, told us the heater was broken (which we obviously already knew), and called that the estimate. If we wanted a DIAGNOSTIC, that would be extra. To be fair, this is industry standard (in my experience). Finally we called Reed & Son. They came to the house, opened up the panel, fixed the issue, and told us wed have hot water in 1 hour. They said they couldnt possibly charge us for what was essentially a 2-minute fix. They then spent an extra 30 minutes teaching us about the problem while preparing us for upcoming changes in the industry that could affect us. This is how you earn a customer for life. I will be shamelessly recommending this company to anyone and everyone who is experiencing plumbing issues, whether they asked for my recommendation or not.P.S. Its been an hour and the hot water is back. They know exactly what theyre doing!

    I have used Reed & Son Services twice now and am very pleased with their service. The first time was to have our well pump replaced proactively. A few months later our septic started backing up into the house. Another Co came out and cleared the line right before Thanksgiving and we thought that was the end of it. It reared it’s ugly head again right before Christmas. The other Co came out and cleared the line again only this time the snake came up with mud on it indicating a break in the line between the house and our septic tank. The other Co was talking about digging everything up between the septic and the house whereas Patrick Reed said they were able to pull a new line through with minimal digging and only a little concrete removal inside. True to his word, he was there at 8am sharp on the day planned with a crew of 5. We were able to use the toilets by noon and they were done by 1pm. They came back 3 days later to reinstall the laundry tub that they had to remove for access to the plumbing. They all worked efficiently and there was no standing around. Reed & Son Services is now my go to Plumbers when it’s anything beyond my skill!

    Professional, responsive, honest. Vince came to evaluate some issues we were having with our tankless water heater and water softener system. He took his time explaining how the systems work and why we were having such issues with them. His knowledge in the trade and care for excellent customer service were evident.     Our water heater stopped heating and we called the number on it to schedule an appointment early Friday morning. Chris was very courteous and said they will be out the same day between 11-1. At 10 I got a phone call that they can come in a half hour. After diagnosing the problem Vince and Nick gave me an estimate which I agreed to and so they fixed the problem within an hour. Since we have well water I also asked about a filtration system. They tested the water and gave me an estimate for that as well. I am very satisfied with the whole experience and stoked that I can now go and take a shower!!!! Thank you very much!

    I called and explain my situation and two gentlemen stop by within an hour and replace few water pipes and valves via their “invasive surgery”. They use the current small 10x10 inch opening to do the work. Waited about 20 min for glue to dry and then tested my whole constant and high pressure system to make sure no leaks. Even took his time to educate me to my other ph balance and constant pressure systems. Will use again for sure. (Pictures are prior the work)

    We contacted Patrick yesterday morning regarding a leak we had in our basement office. We expressed our concerns about having to turn the water off in our house with 3 young children, and he immediately offered to have someone out the same day. Since we couldn’t make that work, he was able to send Joe out the next day who found, and fixed the issue in just under 1 1/2 hours. Joe was very thorough, and an absolute professional. We appreciate Reed and Sons interest in helping us right away, and would recommend them to anyone!

    Our house had no sump pump installed and after a night of heavy rain we needed help asap. We called Reed and Son first thing in the morning and they were there that afternoon to assess the situation. Scheduled within 2 days to install a sump pump.     We are very happy with the service we received. I called during Christmas week and they were able to send someone out the next morning! Shad and Mike were awesome. They quickly identified several issues with our water heater that two other companies couldn’t adequately repair. They had everything fixed within a couple of hours and explained everything to us.     I called Reed and Son due to a water stain appearing in my kitchen below the master shower. They came out with in a couple of days as it was an urgent issue. Alex and Matt assessed the situation including the shower and advised that the best course was to watch it for a few days as it is currently dry. Although the shower pan and tile appear sealed sufficiently they advised to monitor the shower pan door over the next few showers to see if any cracks appear as nothing was evident with their evaluation. Although no service was performed I am rating 5 stars as they were professional and honest.     I highly recommend Reed & Son Services. Shad came out promptly to survey the work and give an estimate -- no charge unlike some others in area. Shad understood what I wanted and was able to describe and discuss materials and job nuances clearly.     As always, any water/plumbing issues always seem to happen on a weekend or holiday. Reed and Sons, have always served me well in the past and once again they did not disappoint. I called Saturday afternoon. They were at my home early Sunday morning (I could not be available the late afternoon/evening on Saturday or they would have come then) ahead of the 2 hour window I was given. Shad, Chad and Nick arrived in 2 vehicles and got right to work.     Reed and Son did a great job fixing my plumbing issues well, promptly, and at a good price! My house was built in the 1970s and is on a well and septic system, but they had plenty of experience to deal with the issues connected with that. When my own attempts at unclogging a basement shower drain failed, they worked around the flaws in my houses poorly designed gray water system and succeed in solving the problem. Their skill avoided any expensive excavation and pipe replacement! As a bonus they also helped me with some water softener problems.

    I had a toilet in an older home that has never been right. It wobbled and moved and was generally unstable. Turns out it was installed incorrectly largely because the cast iron waste pipe was too far below the floor surface. Vince was able to architect a solution using a special order extended cast iron flange and attach it the old fashioned way using melted lead and oakum. Read & Son, specifically Vince and his assistant, have helped me on numerous occasions solve less than straightforward issues. They are the best!

    Once again Reed and Son saves the day! We are in the process of selling our home and needed some minor plumbing work performed.     On 7/26 I experienced low water pressure due to a clogged well tank pressure switch. Vince ad Gary easily diagnosed the problem and clearly explained what caused the problem to me. I had 9 family members visiting for several days and they were very happy to take their missed showers.On 7/30 I rose up to take my shower and had no water pressure. I placed a request for service on their hot line. 15 minutes later Patrick called and said he would come by to check out my problem. Late Friday, 7/28, we had a 14 hr power outage. Apparently that caused the well tank pressure switch not work properly and needed to be reset. Patrick clearly explained the problem and how to reset the switch if it should happen again.Needless to say I am very happy with the results of Reed & Sons services on my behalf.

    Reed and Son Services is absolutely the best. When we didnt have any water Vince and Matt came out the same day we called and replaced the pressure tank and associated piping. Then 3 days later when we didnt have water again late Friday, and I stuck both my feet in my mouth because I assumed they did something wrong with the previous repair, they graciously sent KC and a helper first thing the next morning (Saturday) to replace the well pump and we had water by 10 a.m. From the young lady who answers the phone to the friendly yet professional men who did the repairs, you cant find any better than that.     The primary complaint required diagnostic service (diagnosed as leak present, but not plumbing related). All diagnostic work and associated charges were explained upfront - absolutely no surprises when it came time to settle up. Prompt arrival, courteous technicians who were willing to listen to my description of the problem (and several other unrelated problems!). The team was respectful of our personal property, wore footies in the home without being asked to do so, used drop cloths, and took trash away with them. Also, the team took the time to discuss unrelated issues and provided estimates for consideration shortly after departing the property.     We had what we thought was just a basic faucet installation job for them, but it turned out to be much more. It ended up that our water pressure coming into our home was over twice the legal limit and posed a danger to the pipes! The main shut off valve was leaking as well. In addition to that, the kitchen plumbing was a total mess with numerous items needing to be fixed/replaced. They were up front with their quote and promised that the with could be completed in one day.After a rescheduling due to no fault of their own, they arrived early and prepared. The work was done quickly and correctly in a much shorter time period than we expected and we were up and running in a few short hours.The work done looks clean and they left no mess whatever. There were also no extra charges and we were charged exactly what we were quoted which doesnt always happen nowadays.Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be using Reed and Sons in the future for all of our plumbing needs

    My service call was originally for a leaking outdoor faucet. Shortly before they arrived, I found water leaking from a toilet.     The technician today replaced the broken flange in the floor which is what needed to be done. I was satisfied/happy with his work. The problem is that 1- 1/2 years ago a younger technician came for the same problem because I pulled the toilet myself to replace the wax ring and found the broken flange - thats why I called Reed and Son - But he just put caulk on the broken flange and screwed a spacer/adaptor to it and put a wax ring on and put the toilet back and that was it - it cost me $180 - I trusted the plumber to fix it correctly not rig it up so it would leak again . So it cost me more money and more hassle since it wasnt fixed correctly the first time .

    Prompt response, on-site very quickly to assess the issue and were able to get a new well, pressure tank, and controller within a week. First controller did not work, but Reed & Sons were prepared with an interim pressure switch and came back next day with a replacement controller.
