    Our entire experience with Jay’s has been fantastic. They are top notch professionals both in customer service and quality of work. We had issues with our AC in the summer and Noah came and got it up and running in now time. He even took my call afterwards and gave me extra pointers and short term fixes in case the same issue happened again. Maddox came last week after our heat pump wasn’t working and was super thorough explaining our issues and giving us the pros and cons for short term fixes and long term solutions. We eventually decided to have our system replaced and Jackson came within 48 hours to assess our current system, walk us through the issues and then quoted us 5 different pricing options - outlining the pros and cons of each option. Then Josh, Jake and James came within 48 hours of us ordering a new system. They gutted the old system, and had a brand new A+ system installed within 3 days. They walked me through all the work they did, showed me proper simple maintenance, instructed me when to call for more complex issues, and were an awesome, polite and efficient team.I can’t recommend Jay’s enough. I’m thrilled with the work they’ve done for us and I’m glad I can be comfortable in our home again.

    Maddox took great care of our commercial property! This company is communicative unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Hands down outstanding service!     We had a major issue with the air conditioner in our rental while we were spending the week. A quick phone call got us on the list for first available service call. Great notifications on progress and 30 minutes heads up before they arrived. Noah and Xavier were friendly, polite and professional. Very knowledgeable. They documented and then thoroughly explained what they found and what our options were. When they left, everything was cleaned up and back in place. Would recommend!!! Thanks guys 🙂

    Kobi did an excellent job with my familys one year service maintenance! Very friendly and helpful. He was very thorough and answered any questions we had about our system and how to maintain it. As well as telling us about things we could add on to help our system run smoothly and efficiently. Would certainly recommend him!

    I was reluctant to call Jay’s at first because of where they were located. My dad’s furnace had gone out the night before. It was Friday morning and I was trying to find someone that would/could come out that same day to fix it, so that my dad didn’t have to go the weekend without heat. He is elderly and has Alzheimer’s and I knew he would forget and wouldn’t understand why his heat wasn’t working. I figured that a company closer to where my dad lives, would be the best option. I called at least 10 other places and the soonest anyone could come out was the following week. I finally called Jay’s. They originally told me that they couldn’t come out until the following week, but within 5 minutes, someone called me back and said they could send someone later in the day or evening. I told them it didn’t matter how late it was. They kept in touch with me throughout the day, via text, to let me know the status of their arrival. Right as they were leaving their last stop to head to my dad’s house, they called to let me know they were on their way. They got to my dad’s house before I did but he had already let them in and they had already gotten started. The technician’s name was Noah and he had another gentleman with him as well. I absolutely can not say enough good things about these two. They were both so friendly and knowledgeable. It was Friday night (they didn’t get done until about 7:00), I’m sure they were hungry and I’m sure they wanted to get home. Instead, they worked late to get my dad’s furnace fixed and made sure the house was warming up before they left. But the best thing I can say about these two is that they were unbelievably patient with my dad. He no longer has any short term memory so he asked them a thousand times what they were doing and what was wrong with his furnace. They never got frustrated or irritated. They just kept answering the same questions for him over and over. I will be using Jay’s for my dad’s heat pump and gas furnace maintenance and repairs, from now on.

    After having 4 other companies out, Jays really did send us the best! Steve Cater has gone above and beyond in getting our system working. Has worked hours in cold temperatures so we wouldnt have to go another night in the cold. He has checked in on us and made us feel cared for. We highly recommend him to do the job no one else can!

    I could not have asked for a better experience. Caleb was the best technician to work with. He made sure all my questions were answered. His whole team was extremely polite and respectful in every way. From helping to move furniture to placing a drop cloth over my area rug. There wasnt anything left behind that I had to clean up.

    Koby came out to service our systems for their normal annual maintenance. This is our first experience with them since we just had them installed last year and even though we had a bumpy ride in the beginning with Jays, I’m happy to tell potential new Customers that their technical services are superb. Maybe this is just Kobe but yet he does represent the company, glad he was our technician. He was very professional and thorough. I appreciate that I am a finance Auditor.Kobe thank you for being awesome. I was provided with a detailed explanations and pictures. He provided recommendations for some issues that were noticed. We agreed to go with the options provided. It was a pleasant surprise that he had everything he needed to take care of the job right there and then. A detailed report was provided via email after the job, which is something I have never been provided. Definitely a place you want to call and consider for your next job.Bianca

Jackson Vaughn visited my home to perform an analysis of our home and HVAC system and provided estimates for three options for my home. Jackson was very courteous and professional and did a wonderful job ensuring I understood the options he presented. Additionally, he provided detailed information about the company, services, as well as the quality of their services, guarantees, and warranties. The whole team was very responsive and worked diligently in the estimate process to ensure I was satisfied with the service provided.

    Koby was great 👍 10/10 would recommendEdited to add: The hard sales tactics need to go from the office people. Dont contact people on holidays trying to make a sale. Id work with Koby 1000 times over but the office guy should really back off. Text, calls, and emails multiple times in a week is a real turn off.

    Wonderful, polite and knowledgeable. I barely knew they were even there. They left no trace of work being done, so i didnt have to clean up after them and they built a beautiful base for the hvac systems outside. It looks like part of the landscaping! I love it! They even played with my pups. They walked me through the new touch screen thermostats and explained as they showed me the new systems in the house. They are doing a plumbing job for me at another location. I highly recommend this company. They are now my only go too for all my future hvac and plumbing needs. I support small local businesses and give this one 10 thumbs up and better then 5 stars!

    The best honest sales rep you can have. Both Noah and Adam are excellent technicians and qualified to diagnose and repair anything. They Both receive a 5 rating from me. Sean did a great job and deserves a 5. You just need to send a copy of the quote to replace the customer provided propane Hot water on demand system to the insurance company to Felicia the insurance Adjuster.

    Great experience with Jay’s Heating Air and Plumbing! Our tech, Noah, was very thorough in his work and took time to diagnose the issue. He offered us multiple estimates and options and explained each very well. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely use Jay’s again! Everything from scheduling the call with the office to receiving the notifications before my appointment to the service call itself was a great experience.

    I have now had both HVAC and plumbing done through Jays. Jackson and the HVAC team were great despite the complications of my strange house.There were some struggles regarding plumbing however the company was quick to resolve the issue at hand. Adam came out the next day and got everything in order, explained everything clearly, and was super kind.Despite a few hiccups, I still would highly recommend this company. The workers have all been very professional, kind, and upfront. Yes, the prices may seem steep, but you get what you pay for when it comes to house maintenance.

    We had a water heater about to go out on us and we needed a new hose spigot put in. Sean Connolly was the technician that came out and it was pretty late in the day but he still came by and spent over an hour showing me exactly what needed to be fixed including some things that I didn’t even see. He had loads of patience while I applied for financing and made sure to schedule the service the next available day. Once he came to the house it only took him about 3-3 1/2 hours to put everything in, take photos, take away the old water heater by himself ( that he ended up not being able to drain so I know it was real heavy), insulated the pipes, put in the new spigot, and then showed me every single thing to make sure I was more than good to go once he left. I would recommend Jays %100 percent of the way especially if you have the luck of getting Sean.

    I cant say enough good things about these people!!! OMG!! Danny came out to the site to talk with me and my contractor before the work started and again after work began. He is also bilingual that made it really easy for him to work with the existing contractors, that was also a plus and he was just the sweetest thing.     Maddox and Jackson exceeded my expectations. Having recently moved from CT to South West VA we have had nearly 50 years experience with HVAC companies. I contacted J’s HVAC using their schedule an appointment online tool on a Saturday. To my surprise I received a return call same day, on a weekend. I booked the appointment for the following Tuesday and on Monday morning I received a call from the office letting me know they had a cancelation if I wanted them to come early. Since we were having some mysterious issues with our heat I gladly took the offer.Maddox arrived to do a full review of our system. He looked at every component reviewed his findings with me and after agreeing we needed to get a quote for a new system he contacted Jackson.Jackson did a complete assessment of our requirements, gave us several options to upgrade and told me the system could be installed next day. I’ve never experienced working with a company whose focus on customer satisfaction was their #1 priority. The old system review to new system quote took several hours and both Maddox and Jackson made sure I had all my questions answered and I never felt rushed.I’m looking forward to working with J’s HVAC team and excited to have a new system installed.

    Noah was a knowledgeable and helpful technician. This review is just for him because I committed to giving him the 5 stars he earned. I wasn’t pleased with Jay’s HVAC in general. I’d give them 1 or 2 stars. Scheduling was difficult and they kept making me feel like they’d come but then put me off again and again. Finally when they confirmed a date and time, I took a half day off work and drove over and drove over an hour to meet them at our rental property. They stood me up and rescheduled for the next day, so I had to again take a half day off to be there. They also wanted to push me into deciding that day whether to replace a mini-split even when I said “I will not be deciding today.” Their business model appears to be to push the sale on the customer. Not uncommon, but I didn’t like it.Oh finally, they asked when my husband could be there so the decision maker would be present. I told them, “I am the decision maker.” My husband has nothing to do with the property so even though I might consult with him on expensive purchases, it annoyed me that Jay’s assumed he would need to be there with me to make a decision on whether to repair or replace a unit.

    Outstanding across the board. Made a call to repair my HVAC. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Angel scheduled me for the next day. Received a message the next morning that the tech was enroute, and a few minutes later got a call from the Tech, Noah. He arrived when he said he would, was professional and friendly. Noah did a thorough exam, took photos and walked me through all the options then repaired the system. An outstanding experience from start to finish.

    Jays is the GOAT. We’ve used them for HVAC and plumbing now and with them you know it’s going to be done right and it’s always been headache free. Sean C came out and installed a water heater for us earlier today. He was very nice and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond by cleaning up the mess my old leaky water heater had made in the basement. Only drawback was he was a Lakers fan but other than that A+++

    I called Jays Heating, Air, & plumbing concerning a major water leak. I spoke with Angel and she was very polite. She said they will have someone come out in the morning. Glad they can come so quickly. Will update after work is complete.Update.. Adam was very pleasant to work with. Checked thoroughly for leaks and fixed the leak. Other than the price I am very please with the quality of work. I still give a 5 star rating for the service. Actual fixing the pipe took 10 minutes. He crawled under the house and checked things out from end to end. I requested several times that i needed plenty of pictures for insurance purposeses and didnt get what I needed of subfloor damage. $646 seems high for one pipe when the last one a friend fixed for $20.

    I contacted Jay’s via website. Informed them cooling was not as it should be, possible low refrigerant / leak. Received reply quickly and service would be dispatched and expect a call from technician approximately 1 hour prior to arriving, not having to wait around. Noah Hutchens called and arrived shortly after. After introducing himself and reviewing the problem I was experiencing he was straight to work. Found a leak and some components on the verge of possible failure. He worked up an estimate of repairs. After reviewing it I decided to see what options were available since the system is 17 years old. He made arrangements for Jackson Vaughan to come out the following day. Overall, Noah was informative, knowledgeable, and personable. The next morning Jackson arrived and did a complete analysis of my home to be sure that we were looking at the proper size equipment and if any thing else may be required in making a change. He presented me with 4 options for replacing my system and clearly explained the differences of each as well. He was very knowledgeable about how each system performed and the benefits of each. He was also very understanding of my budget concerns and was very accommodating in an effort to work with me on this. I made my choice of system and Jackson scheduled it as quick as the next day since my system was down hard. Josh and his installation team of Jake and James arrived at the specified time the following morning. After introductions, they were all eager to get to the job at hand. They were quick and efficient as they proceeded to remove my existing system and install the new. They kept me updated as work progressed. The team was very respectful of my home as they worked being careful to protect surfaces / floors so as not to cause any damage. When installation was complete, the team walked me through each phase of the work and explained what was done and explained operational procedures for each piece of equipment for me the home owner, as well as any maintenance responsibilities such as filters changes, condensate cleanout, etc. Overall, I am very pleased with the professionalism of everyone at Jay’s and would highly recommend them to anyone needing Hvac work.     Ceth was here March 18 to service our furnace.He explained everything to us and did a good job. I would recommend Jays Heating and Air to everyone I know. We had it installed 1 1/2 years ago and we are very happy with the furnace and the way they take care of the unit. He let us know what is recommended for our unit and the fact I have severe allergies and what can be installed to help control them. They provide awesome technical support and are always on time.So happy with the work they did and it did not take very long to do.Joanne Boone

    Great first time experience with Jays Heating, Air & Plumbing. The customer service was excellent when I first called for service, and the follow-up texts and emails kept me updated (great communication). The technician (Maddox Bowman) was professional, polite, friendly, and very detailed. He sat with me to explain everything he serviced in the inside and outside units, took several pictures, and emailed the final report. Honestly, not what I was expecting based on my experience with other companies, so I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the results. I signed-up for the Platinum Maintenance and highly recommend it, and I also highly recommend Jays Heating, Air & Plumbing.

    2024.08.26 - Maddox arrived at my home at the end of a very long day for him. Despite that, he was cheerful, polite and very energetic. He remembered the details and locations of the system from his last visit (over 5 months ago). He went right to the tasks. Completed the maintenance work and provided his report. We reviewed the pictures and information. Done. I am very satisfied with everything. Great job.2024.06.13 - As scheduled, Chris Hadley arrived at the house. After introducing himself and his assistant, we discussed the situation regarding the work needed. He scoped out the work and explained what he would do to complete repairs. Chris then went to work. He rather quickly completed the repairs and cleaned up the area after them. In summary, I found Chris and his assistant to be very professional, extremely pleasant, very knowledgeable and details oriented. I was completely satisfied with their work. Great job.2024.06.10 - Called to schedule plumbing repairs. Spoke with Angel, a Customer Service Rep. She was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. She understood my situation and set me up with an appointment promptly. Great job.2024.03.15 - Maddox arrived as scheduled to perform a routine maintenance on the system. Explained what the inspection detailed and approximately how long it would take. He completed the inspection and then went about reviewing the findings with me. Everything was good. He easily answered my questions.I found Maddox to be very friendly, polite and easy to talk with. He behaved in a most professional manner throughout the whole process. 5 stars.August 2023Called Jay’s on a Monday morning with A/C issues. A technician was scheduled to be there early afternoon. Noah arrived and explained what he was going to check on the system. He promptly evaluated the state of the system and gave us feedback. Noah was very friendly, thorough, detailed and professional. He made arrangements for a technician to come by later that afternoon to identify options to solve the issue. Noah is 5 star in my book.Stephen arrived as promised that afternoon. His appearance, presence and presentation made us feel relaxed. He explained the process thoroughly and then went about his tasks. After completing the process, he reviewed the proposals with us. He answered all our questions and worked with us to arrive at the best solution. Everyone won thanks to Stephen. Couldn’t have done it without him. The best!Richard and Caleb arrived as scheduled. After explaining what they were going to do, they went right to work. They removed the old HVAC system and installed a new Lennox system in less than 8 hours. I was amazed how quickly and smoothly the job went. They were great.I would not hesitate to use Jay’s again nor would I hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

    The first thing I would say about this Company they are the nicest people I have met in a long time. There installers are very knowledgeable and very professional and they even clean up after themselves where as some other companies leave their trash everywhere. Noah the service technician, was very knowledgeable about the process and the systems he was working on. Noah is a very respectful man who is welcome in my house anytime. If I were younger I would love to work with him and learn from him.

    They did a great job fixing our sewer pipe and quick too, but we havent had any hot water since they did the job. Spending as much as I did for the sewer repair you would think that Id have hot water when they left. Hot water came back on June 30th.

Jackson, our consultant, was and continues to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the entire process, and went above and beyond our expectations. He loves what he does and it really makes a difference to work with someone as passionate as he is! The install team was amazing as well! They explained the process to us and made it streamline as well as friendly. We even had a slight hiccup with one of our mini split systems after install. After a quick call to Jackson, he had the install team out the very next day to fix it. Amazing customer service all the way around!!     We had to replace a 20-year old HVAC system, and we had a consistently good experience with Jay’s. Jackson (who worked with us on selecting system components) and technicians Matthew and Austin all were personable and provided excellent service. Jackson was especially helpful when our home warranty company asked for addition information before approving us to use Jay’s, which was not their preferred vendor. After getting multiple estimates, we can say that Jay’s costs somewhat more than other vendors, but they are also extremely thorough and do picture-perfect installation. I wish I could say the same for other HVAC companies we have used in the past.The one thing I would caution about is that the third-party lender Jay’s partners with to finance large projects, Goodleap, is extremely aggressive and tries to upsell people with good credit. They tried to get us to refinance our home mortgage with them at terms that would have been terrible for us and fantastic for them. The Minnesota Attorney General is currently going after Goodleap, and after talking with Goodleap, I understand why. Use Jay’s for service, but consider arranging for payment some other way.

    Yesterday was spring checkup time for our system. The office called early morn to let us know they were tied-up with an emergency system shutdown, and they continued to keep us informed. Ive worked in an HVAC office myself in years past and know how disruptive this is to the work schedule. But, Nathan arrived informed, prepared, polite and ready for the task at hand. We asked him lots of questions just to verify what we know and whats being done. Nathans answers were concise and his work was thorough.     5/5 stars! Replacing a HVAC can be a huge inconvenience and investment but working with Jay’s was totally worth it! Being honest, Jay’s was the last company out of 6 to come and quote us and JACKSON said we saved the best for last and he was absolutely right! Jackson did a thorough assessment which really helped us make our decision. It wasn’t just a close the deal experience and we appreciated it.
