KECO has installed a dozen (or more) fixtures in our home, ran the wiring for an entire new kitchen & living space and has helped with several miscellaneous projects for us in the last year. We upgraded several fixtures and added recessed lighting + under cabinetry LEDs in multiple spaces and all turned out perfectly. They’re great at what they do, knowledgeable and considerate of both your time and home. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience! They were able to schedule the job quickly and remediate issues we found during our pre-inspection. Michael, Ty and the rest of the team were very thorough in their recommendations and completed the work within the expect time. The owner also reached out directly to explain the work needed and address questions. The day of the job, they were kind enough to accommodate our work from home schedule and our curious pet Corgi. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

There was a problem with my FiOS when they were put everything back together through no fault of them The tech stayed to make sure everything was alright. They cleaned up after themselves. Kowall Electric did a fantastic job! I called them for a small job, which actually uncovered a bigger issue that needed to be addressed sooner than later. Mike mapped out 4 different options for us and went through each option, the cost, and answered any and all questions we had no matter how small or silly it seemed.When they were completing the job, the electricians were so thorough with the work they were doing and took their time to ensure that the job was done correctly and to their high standards. They were so respectful of my home and kept me up-to-date of what they were working on and asked any questions they may have needed a little extra clarification on.Greg was also very hands-on from the moment I called the company. He responded to my call immediately and set up an appointment ASAP. After the initial appointment, he reached out again to make sure that all of our questions were answered and make sure that we were comfortable. Had a power surge from a storm on Wednesday night. Dryer didn’t work and despite replacing circuit, it sparked when it was turned. Mary a beth was very pleasant when I made the call and was able to get me in the next day. Very responsive and kept me up-to-date on arrival times. Mike S was my technician and he explained everything as to what needed to be done and pricing was up front. Very happy. Kowall will be my go-to electrician(hope I don’t need them though!).

I have used Kowall electric over 7 times now! First time was to help wire a bathroom at our new office over 10 years ago in havertown!I have used them personally at my mothers house quite a few times to help with a new attic fan (made a HUGE difference), to help in a pinch with a home inspector list when she sold her house and most recently with some replacement smoke / CO detectors and new outlets at her new home.We have recommended them to our clients and friends and I will always continue to do so. They are fast, affordable and most importantly, provide quality work that I dont have worry about!

Yikes! I found myself in need of a licensed electrician right before the holidays. We lost all electricity in our home and we were especially upset due to the lack of heat. After reviewing several companies in the area, Kowall Electric seemed to be the most prominent one in the area. So I called the company for service and within an hour, I was contacted by the owner, Greg.I explained the problem and Greg said since he considered the situation an emergency, he would schedule a visit ASAP to assess the condition and get the job scheduled quickly. What a relief! The lines of communication remained open during the entire process and was very much appreciated. To make a long story short, the main breaker panel needed to be replaced with a complete grounding system/ a seal and caulk meter socket followed by drywall to finish the job. The area was left clean and tidy. The workers were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Kowall Electric. I could not finish this review without mentioning the obvious level of your dedication for actually working after dark on a Friday night in order to get the job completed; so we could have heat again! Thank you.

If you want prompt, professional, and expert service, Kowall Electric is who you should call for ALL your electrical service. It only took 2 days for Mike and Chris arrive at my home. I was having problems with my outdoor security cameras and lights. Within 1 1/2 hours, they diagnosed the problem and I was up and running. Pricing is fantastic; they replaced our service line, replaced our panel, moved our meter, added a surge protector to our panel and installed new grounding rods. Kowall Electric did a great job on a complete rewiring of our recently purchased home. I really appreciated Greg’s knowledge and understanding of what we were looking to accomplish in establishing the safety of the wiring as well as some of the additions we were looking to make to the house. Once we established the date for the project, they were able to stick to the expected timeline even with facing some unexpected challenges. The whole crew was very professional in getting the job done and making it all look good while taking good care to protect our belongings. I especially appreciated Eric who took the lead during the work to ensure the plan that was initially laid out was executed on. It was also great to receive updates from Greg letting us know how the work was progressing against the timeline and any other important information we needed to know. They were professional and very courteous and patient with our 1 year old grandson who wanted to be their new apprentice.Estimates were provided and explained before doing work and options were presented when possible to try and manage cost. Given the findings from the diagnostic work up, the work was started with a plan to return in a few days to complain the remaining projects. The projects are all now completed. We also met Greg and the professionalism and attention to customer service and satisfaction was evident and very much appreciated. This company was great! I called them originally to install a new dryer plug box as the old plug box was incompatible. They were at my house within 45 minutes. Very impressive. Since my panels and wiring were all circa 1970’s and neglected for 40 some years, a full inspection was definitely on my mind. Also I needed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They worked steady till all was accomplished. The men were courteous, experienced, clean working, a great team! There’s not one derogatory thing I can think of to say. I contracted Kowall to upgrade and electric panel to 200amp service. Greg came out and gave me an estimate for the work and we scheduled a date. We did have to reschedule due to weather but Greg was great at communicating. His two guys that came out that day were awesome, nice young professional men. They did a great job, as much as one can say an electrical panel is beautiful, everything is neat and well ordered. They even straightened out the spaghetti mess of wires outside. I hope they are the same guys who come out when I do my kitchen renovations in a few months. I did have an unexpected repair on a dryer outlet but Greg called me personally and explained the situation and the rice was extremely reasonable, as was the whole job. I most certainly would recommend and reuse them again!!!! AAAA+++

Greg was very respectful and attentive to my needs and concerned with my lifes schedule. He went above and beyond what would be expected from any Electrical Business. After receiving the quote for work to be completed he went over everything so I could completely understand with everything in the quote line by line. The quote was beyond fare for the quality of service and workmanship provided. We agreed on a time to start the work and he worked around my schedule to complete the job very efficiently. The men arrived promptly and were dressed very neat and appropriately in there uniforms. This assures customers who they are working for their comfort. They respected me and my families rules of the house, wearing booties on their shoes while in the house, no smoking in the house, and use appropriate language in the house. All of which other businesses neglected to respectfully adhere to while working in our home in the past. I was very impressed, they were very neat and cleaned up their work area before leaving. I was recommended Mr Kowall by another satisfied customer. I called in the morning (oven stopped working) and left a message. He replied within 30 minutes and it happened that he was finishing with a client close to my house and suggested he would come afterwards. He came as promised about 4 hours after I called initially. He reinstalled the oven in the proper way it should have been done to avoid future damage and fire hazard. He also vacuumed the dust around the oven and cleaned the front door. If I could give 20 stars, I would. I contacted Kowall to install a video doorbell and resolve some connectivity issues with an existing video doorbell. What I thought was as simple as installing the transformer that I bought, wasn’t. Kowall came out and not only diagnosed the issue but contacted the manufacturer to be sure that the transformer that I bought would work. I’m glad they called because it did not. They had to come back a second day with a new transformer and correct a workaround put in place by another vendor. Quality work of Greg Kowall and crew far exceeds the majority of electricians I have known during my years of construction work (now retired). They removed all old unsafe wiring and electrical materials from our old (recent purchase) home. New wiring was installed top to bottom with new breakers and arc fault protection. Circuits were extended where needed with additional outlets and existing outlets and switches were all replaced to meet modern code and safety standards. GFI outlets have security protection against tampering by small children. Smoke detectors were hard wired. We needed our ceiling fan replaced and also our outdoor outlet stopped working. I asked for electrician recommendations on our local community social media pages. May people recommended Kowall Electric and said they were very happy with the work performed. I contacted Kowall Electric to get an estimate on the work needed. The owner Greg contacted me back and gave me a very realistic estimate, not some overly priced ones like many others did. He said when I was ready to shoot him a text message and we can set something up. I know the holidays are a very busy time for many companies so I asked if we could schedule something after 12/28. He responded the next day and said they could squeeze us in that afternoon if possible. That worked for us. His workers showed up at the time he said they would, right on schedule. They were very friendly and professional. Our daughter was napping but we told them not to worry and if she woke up it was not a problem since she would probably wake up soon anyway. Instead, they took extra care to try and be less noisy as to not wake the baby. They worked very cleanly and you would not even know anyone was in there as there were no traces left behind. The were very efficient with getting the new ceiling fan installed and repairing the outdoor outlet. We were blown away by their friendliness, professionalism and quality of their work. The cherry on top was when the owner himself contacted me to follow up and make sure everything was working and we were happy with the work performed. This just shows that they are a company that genuinely cares about their customers’ needs and not just out to make a quick buck like the large franchised companies. The personal level of service provided by Kowall Electric went above and beyond what we were expecting. I told my wife that from now on Kowall will be our go to for any home electrical needs and she fully agreed. They rewired a large amount of our home and eliminated knob and tube in an extremely efficient and professional manner. They will be returning soon to hang light fixtures and mount our tv above our fireplace. They wired our television so NO cables will show after being mounted to the wall above the fireplace!
