It was12/23/2024, yes, the morning of Christmas eve. We are at the start of one of the biggest holidays. We woke up to a problem with our house heater. Guests will be arriving over the next few days. Its very cold outside and we are in panic mode. I call four repair services in the Mooresville area. No live persons answer my call, none of them EVER return my call for help.My fifth call was to Air Dynamics, a cheerful lady answers and senses my frustration. She promises to help and have a technician out within two hours, and would it be OK if he got there a bit earlier. He arrives one hour early and resolves my problem.Now, that is service. Air Dynamics saved our holiday and just went to the top of the list.

Not an every situation Google poster, but the Air Dynamics experience is noteworthy. From the upfront honesty after an inspection of our 12 year old system, and throughout the replacement process, the entire crew delivered. When thousands have to be spent, I will have questions. They all went about their business responding accordingly not seeming to be bothered. Of the five contractors who provided an estimate, their price was the lowest for comparable equipment, which included the 10-year parts and labor warranty. Air Dynamics was recommended by a neighbor, and his description was spot on. We sends our thanks to Josh, Guy, Andrew and Brandon for a job well done!

Wonderful company. I left a message after hours that A/C was out on one of the hottest days of summer, and in the midst of the busy season they were here before noon the next morning. HVAC professional, Francis, was very thorough, checked out entire system, reviewed options and costs for the repair, and after he finished the job he replaced everything back under the house that needed to be moved out in order to access the system! Wesley and his crew (actually, they’re a real TEAM!) always go above and beyond to make sure everything is absolutely perfect! I’ve used them over the years from routine maintenance to complete replacement of my HVAC system. Everyone I’ve encountered at Air Dynamics, from the receptionist to the service technicians have been very responsive, very professional and very kind. Had them out several years ago when I thought my 18 year old system was on its last legs. Nope, they fixed it right up and I got 5 more years out of it!! I contacted Air Dynamics for a second opinion regarding my 4 year old HVAC. After a recent maintenance check, I was informed that my evaporator coils were leaking oil, rusty, and the cause of my low refrigerant. The quote for repair ... $1200 (which included refrigerant, labor, S&H, and cost for the warranty claim). Air Dynamics came highly recommended by my parents in Mooresville so I figured Id give them a call. I talked with Diane who was very helpful, understood my problem, and booked an appointment for me the next day. After a review of my indoor and rooftop units, the technician Frank said my refrigerant was normal, there was no oil leaking, and the amount of rust built up was totally normal for the age of my unit! He said my unit was running normally and there was absolutely no issues with it! I could not freaking believe it! As a customer, I really appreciated a technician who takes the time to explain what they are doing, whats normal/abnormal, what to look for, etc and not standing there criticizing others without offering solutions. I am very thankful that I called Air Dynamics and will be happily switching my HVAC maintenance service over to them! Thanks again!

In 2019 I purchased my first home, a 1958 brick ranch and the HVAC went out with in the first 60 days. I knew the system was older when i bought the place but wasnt expecting this. I got 4 quotes from local companies for a new system and duct work to be installed. Wes, the owner came and gave me a quote for a few different options based on budget and took the time to walk me through the advantages for each. I ended up chosing Air Dynamics for my install based mainly because they were a competitive price and also won me over with the time and attention. The install process went excellent and the fit and finish of the unit was excellent. I couldnt afford to do ducts at the same time but just recently had them come back and replace all of my duct work. When I had Wes come back to give me a second quote for the duct work (two years later) I asked about what he reccomended for helping with allergies and asthma issues. Both my daughter and i suffer from this and he reccomended a Nucalgon iwave ionizer system to be installed in the hvac that would negatively charge the dust and kill the mold, dander, viruses and so on in the air as the system ran. I was skeptical only because I am not a fan of the knock off units in stores and online claiming to work but never really doing much. But when the quote came i was able to click over to the products website and review the manufactuerer info about the unit and i was very impressed. After reading reviews I decided to go for it. When the install was scheduled they did what they could to schedule for a day when it wasnt blistering hot out so that the time without AC wouldnt be to bad. The install team was epic, super nice and respectful of the property. They ripped out all the old ducts and even showed me the shape they were in. The new duct work was installed in a timely manner and the details were impeccably well done. You can see the quality of the craftsmanship they put into every step and I value that alot. Within 24 hrs i could feel the difference in the air i was breathing and withing 2 days I no longer was waking up with itchy eyes. The iwave unit is self cleaning so i dont need to worry about service at all. Im not one to leave reviews often but felt with this it was important to share such a positive experience. I am looking forward to continuing the relationship with Air Dynamics. Thank you!

We needed to replace our aging and inefficient HVAC system over 5 years ago. As I am notorious for doing, I did my due diligence, researching the various brands, models and local suppliers. Trane had a good reputation and a lot of advertising, but I soon realized that Trane and American Standards units are made in the same plant ... even the model numbers of the internal components matched! And the Am Std pricing was not bloated up with all that advertising overhead. I obtained quotes on-site from several local dealers, and ended up making a field trip to the Air Dynamics office, reviewing my needs with the owner. The result of this has been a great system, optimized to get the highest SEER rating for the best price, all with a 10-yr warrantee. Dealing with Air Dynamics since has been easy. The techs have been great, answering all my questions as I hovered over them doing their inspection/tuneup visits every 6 months. My furnace inspection was done yesterday. The tech was on time to the minute, courteous, and diligent. I dont often take the time to write a review. But both my Am Std system and Air Dynamics have stood the test of time for me.

Wow - what a fantastic experience with Air Dynamics today! Of course, A/C only breaks down on Sunday, just before the 4th of July, when its consistently in the 90s.... I called Air Dynamics to see if there was a chance someone would answer on Sunday. Within a few minutes, I was happily surprised to receive a call back. Within 90 minutes, Allen was at my home and he quickly diagnosed the issue (a bad capacitor) and replaced the part. He then took the time to clean the coil and check the refrigerant and inspect the system. I learned a lot in the process and there was no upsell or any other issues that were detected. Allen was incredibly professional, super engaging and highly efficient. You can very quickly tell that hes outstanding. Despite the Sunday service call and kind of urgent need for help, the cost was appropriate and fair. This was my first experience with Air Dynamics and based on it, Id highly recommend them. I reached out to Air Dynamics due to a CO issue with my old gas pack unit. A tech came out first thing Monday morning to investigate and confirmed my fear; the heat exchanger was cracked, leaking combustion by-products into the heated air being circulated throughout the house. The tech then provided me with options and I shopped around for different quotes but could not find a lower price (Race city heating and air may have been cheaper but Im not sure as they never got back to me on a quote after the salesman stopped by). After agreeing to the quote, Air Dynamics installation team were outside my house that Thursday morning with a new unit! They were also 5 mins early which was great as well. The team was very professional, courteous and explained everything during the install. They also didnt just send one or two techs for the installation, there were multiple techs onsite at once, which made us feel like a high priority to them, as well as made us feel confident about the installation going off without a hitch (which it did). Lastly, Air Dynamics removed the old unit (25 years old), replaced the entire gas line, incoming wiring and sub-panel, conduit, ductwork and left the site in better condition than it was before they got there. I highly, highly recommend Air Dynamics for a new HVAC installation!

Water was leaking from an attic furnace / AC unit. I had it repaired by another firm previously but it obviously wasnt done properly. Brandon spotted the problem immediately and replaced the sagging drain line that was backing up. He also supported it properly, tested it for proper drainage, and installed a couple of fail safe water sensors that should have been there in the first place. Had that been done before, it would have prevented my ceiling water damage.Yeah, a markup on parts, but everyone does that these days. Its worth a bit extra to get the work done properly and it was done properly.UPDATE:My other A/C unit stopped working 4 months later and was freezing up. Thats usually a sign of low Freon. Josh came out and confirmed the diagnosis. But being low on Freon means theres a leak somewhere and thanks to the environmentalist, Freon is now about $140 / lb. I needed 5 pounds. Worse yet, Freon will be illegal to manufacture or even to import it after January 1, 2020.So it was time to replace the 22 year old system. Josh got my old AC working while we negotiated a contract, but I only had to wait two days for the installers to show up with a brand new American Standard HVAC system. By the end of the day, I had a completely new system installed. They came back the next day for some extras they provided at no charge and for a complete system checkout, including heat.Parts of my system clearly had never worked properly (the zone dampers) as evidenced by the far better cooling. They replaced the old damper system with a brand new Honeywell. What a difference!A solidly professional team. Ive found my HVAC team for years to come.Once again, I am very pleased with their work and would give them another 5 stars if Google would allow more than one review.

They came today to fix out unit as it wasnt cooling the house. I was told the outside unit needed to be replaced and it would be $8k-10K to replace. I thought that was high, so I of course got another opinion. I allowed Morris Jenkins to what they called Patch my system so it would work.I then called Air Dynamics here in Mooresville. They sent a rep out right away and looked over my system. Mike asked me when Morris was here and what they said they did. I showed him the notes and report from Morris Jenkins. There were 4 things on the Morris Jenkins report that DID NOT REALLY GET DONE. Mike serviced, cleaned and checked my units and said No, you do not need to replace the outside unit, everything is running perfectly. But if you did, the price is $4k.I called to cancel my Morris Jenkins service and signed up with Air Dynamics. I really dont understand how they can run their business the way they do.My only regret is not finding Air Dynamics 2 years ago.

Love Air Dynamics! They installed a new AC unit at my home 3 years ago and maintain it on a regular basis. My office had 2 new AC units installed last week and Guy and the teams did a great job. They are very professional and everyone you work with is so awesome... from the team in sales, scheduling, accounting, installers, etc. I would highly recommend anyone needing residential or commercial services to use Air Dynamics. I really appreciate the customer service that Ive received over the 19+ years Ive been working with them. They are quality with high integrity.

Air Dynamics has been our chosen contractor for our HVAC needs since first inspecting our system as part of the purchase process in 2013. When Curtis advised us that our 20+ year old furnace didnt have much time left in it, we trusted his judgement. Andrew and Brandon finished the installation of a new furnace and A/C unit yesterday, expertly finishing the job in one day. The whole team at Air Dynamics is reliable and pleasant to deal with.
