Steve and his team at Gumbati are some of the kindest, most professional people I have ever worked with. From his staff to on-site workers, everyone knows their jobs and implements them well. some of the hardest working people I know- and no job has been too tough for them. They have done some rugged jobs for my property management company, and always come through for us when needed.They are timely, show up when requested, and leave their sites clean and neat. Reliable. Affordable. Professional. Personable. all of these things and more. Cant say enough good things about this business.

Gumbati installed a new hot water heater in our mobile home. The job was scheduled very quickly, the folks were on time, and the installation was quick. Unfortunately there were some issues that prevented the completion, and required the work of a separate electrical services company. Gumbati stood behind its estimate for the installation and reduced its invoice to mostly cover the cost of the electrical work. Despite the problems, the experience was quite a pleasant one, and I would not hesitate to use them again or to refer others to them.

We had a very good experience with Gumbati and would confidently recommend them.We had a number of different issues that needed addressing with a master bath remodel. We usually do all the work ourselves but hit a wall (no pun intended). What I want to highlight is that in the course of helping, the crew discovered that the issue was actually the result of something different than expected, and they pivoted instantly to address that instead within the same timeline--no delays.Then they went above and beyond with something else that same day, and as a result we had an even better experience than wed anticipated. Bonus--I had to call back regarding something as a follow-up, and someone swung by with two hours to address that with me.Many thanks, guys!

I have used Gumbati a couple of times, one was a complete replumbing of our home. Steve and his crew are the best ever! If something does not meet your expectations, he will make it right, immediately!I recommend them for any of your repair needs and I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Stephen and his team were awesome to work with. They did a great job installing new plumbing, dishwasher, hot water heater, faucets, bathroom fixtures and tying into our existing well. I also really appreciated their professionalism, communication and attention to detail. Even shutting the back gate without being asked so the dogs dont get out!

I hired Gumbati Handyman & Plumbing to perform work on my home, including some interior modifications and re-siding my house in hardie* board. They were the most affordable bid I received. The work they performed for me and my wife was excellent. A few unknown issues arose with pre-existing damage we were unaware of, and the owner personally talked to me about my options, the pros and cons of my different options, as well as the costs thereof. I would use them again.

EDIT: owner contacted us to clean up mess, we had already cleaned it up ourselves but we appreciate them reaching out.I will say I appreciate how fast they came out when we needed them and fixed the problem but they say they pay Attention the minute details yet they left a mess in our yard and walk way. Pretty expensive too

I have been recommending these guys to anyone who needs handyman services based on their on-line presence, their trucks and Ive even talked to a few of the guys, in passing, at the supply store. I always got positive feedback, so I kept recommending them. My wife is a realtor - she uses them...never a complaint. For the first time ever, I had to call them for a plumbing issue. Nathan and Monte were terrific; professional, courteous and knocked it out quick. Big shout out to Quintin holding it down on the phones...Hes exceptional.

I called on this service provider to hook up a new sink adding valves and such as well as install faucet, set a toilet and install shower head and knobs and Nathan was not only on time, which I really love, but he was a bit early. He had to come back a 2nd day to complete everything, but returned and completed the job at time promised and the work was excellent! They have won all of my future business and recommendations to friends!CM

I adore these guys. Stephen was great to work with and so were his folks. They went above and beyond on my project and everything is working so well and we are extremely happy. I had a tree fall on my property and I called Steve, the owner of Gumbati, having used him before. He was here at my house within 15 to 20 minutes. I so appreciated his willingness to help negotiate all the people who came to my house like the City of Tallahassee Utilities since I just recently had surgery. He sawed all fallen wood. He went beyond my expectations. Thank you!

I am a property manager, so I have a lot of experience calling on vendors for various services. I have always been very pleased with the work he has done for me, but even more importantly I value that he does what he says he’ll do, when he says he’ll do it. This is my number one complaint about vendors in general; many are qualified and do adequate work, but are a nightmare to work with. Not Gumbati. He tells you what is going to happen and when it will happen. If he doesn’t know, he tells you that too, and why he doesn’t know and when he will know. When I arrive on time to the work site, Steve is already there, and when he tells you that the work is done, it’s done and done well.A pleasure to work with.

So, as you know as a home owner, things are going to break. My hot water heater went on the fritz. While looking for a plumber I came across Gumbati Handy Man and plumbing service. Well, Gumbati means friend. So I called and made an appointment for August 26 at 9am. Ben, the plumber for Gumbati showed up 10 minutes early. He was extremely friendly and professional. He assessed my problem in about 15 minutes. He then installed a new water heater. He was done in about an hour and completely cleaned up after himself and charged a fair price. Service like this is hard to find. What a great experience.

Came out on the weekend on a Saturday for a leak under the kitchen sink they were here at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday got the problem solved and was done under an hour very courteous and knowledgeable I will definitely use them again
