    Over the 40 years since I purchased my house, I have needed electrical work of various types from time to time. I have used three or four different electricians, and I have always been pleased with the work of South Alabama Electric. South Alabama Electric has completed minor work, from changing out electrical outlets and installing new light fixtures to installing new sub-panels and diagnosing problems with a ceiling fan.I have dealt with many electricians in the past, some of whom attempted to cheat me. South Alabama Electric has always been professional, honest, and competent.Their electricians have always been polite, knowledgeable, and professional. While many tradesmen almost demand payment before they leave your house (they have probably been burned in the past), South Alabama bills you upon completing the job. Recently, we needed some work done, and the electrician who arrived introduced himself and his helper to my wife.I have always been pleased with the work of South Alabama Electric and will continue to use them in the future,

    Had some specialty work I needed done in Mobile as I was out of state and not able to do the work myself. I previously installed an IT router outdoors on top of a light pole that needed some servicing.Having never used this company before, I chose them from previous reviews here and elsewhere. Once I contacted them they were prompt getting back to me as well as scheduling the job.The tech David I worked with was great on-site and went above and beyond what a normal electrician would be expected to do. Was very happy with the work and the interaction with this company.

    The men and women at South Alabama Electric are the best. From the initial call with the office, to the supervisor; right on down to the techs, simply wonderful. They arrived on time, completed my project, cleaned up after themselves, and were gone. Other than the fact that my project is complete I couldn’t even tell they were there. I recommend this company to everyone.

    Could not be happier with the service today. Bought a new oven and realized we needed new wiring. Two of the youngest, but most competent and polite young men showed up. They rewired everything, installed the oven, and cleaned up an took away their trash. Fast, efficient, and polite. Highly recommend this company.

    Gavin and Daniel arrived exactly on time and went to work right away. Within 25 minutes they had installed 2 outdoor lights and repaired 3 outlets. They were polite and professional. We were very pleased with their work.

    I use South Alabama Electric many times a year. They are always there for me when I need them. They have installed industrial wiring, lighting, junction boxes, electrical for my CNC machine upgrades, new 480V equipment installations, pulling wires for motors...I could go on for a long time. I have always been satisfied with the service and will always continue to give them the first opportunity to provide quotations for every job requiring electrical work. I appreciate your timeliness, responsiveness, professionalism, and quality work. Good job.

    The breaker that controls mya/c went out. Air conditioning company gave me a quote to fix. I called several electric companies for comparison. South Alabama quoted me the best rate. They replaced my breaker for more than $150 less than the original quote I got from the air conditioning company. Their staff was very professional, courteous and efficient! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

    We had a tree come down in the storm from hurricane Berry. They sent an electrician named Gary out who was a great guy and fixed our issues within 2 hours so Alabama power could turn us back on. Within 4 hours we had power again. Highly recommend this company

    Have had SAE here for 2 jobs of installation of a new fan and 5 light fixtures. Not only were they prompt and efficient, they were professional and most courteous. Scheduling was easy, no long delays, and again, most courteous. Highly recommended ‼️

    I would like to say that we are VERY pleased and happy with South Alabama Electric. I called this morning over an electrical issue. They were at my residence this afternoon, and my problem is now resolved. The owner, Mr. Wilson was such a nice man to communicate with. He was understanding, and accommodating. The tech, Manny, was friendly, professional, and even though we are remodeling, and our house is like a trap of wood and tools, he made the best of our construction scene and fixed our problem with no complaints! He was also great about answering my questions. I will recommend this company to everyone! Thank you! The Zweeres family!

    I was having some wiring issues while putting in a bathroom vent fan. They worked me into the schedule, came out to the house, and were done in about 30 minutes! They were very professional through the entire experience. I highly recommend this company for any electrical issues!

    I had to get a brand new electric box on my house with new poll, they were quick to give us a reasonable quote and had the job done within one day of the quote. Very professional from receptionist, workers who came out to house, and supervisor who gave quote. Answered all our questions and concerns know matter how many I had woth alot of patience. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a electrician that is honest, professional, and stands behind their work.
