Smith Electric put in a ton of recessed lighting into my 1980’s style home, as well as several ventilation fans in my bathrooms, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! They were professional from start to finish, were great at communicating with me beforehand, and arrived on time. They were very nice and even cleaned up after themselves. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with this company. I highly recommend them, and I will be using them for all my electrical needs in the future!

Had a limb fall on my power line and pulled the box out of the wall. Called after hours and had a prompt response. Reasonable price and Danielle was awesome! Both technicians were so nice and professional. I had several wiring issues, fuse box, a bathroom wall plug and squealing fan motor. They helped fix my electrical issues and answered my many questions. I really appreciate finding the right company. HEY its been 10 months. And Smith electric has been to my home 3 more times. They always do a great job explaining how to fix all my electrical issues. And getting the job done. I really appreciate finding an electrician to can come work for you in only 2 or 3 days. Most places are 2 or 3 weeks. They have fixed everything that needs fixing. I reallyAppreciate them and may God Bless them for being apart of our community.

Very happy with the company. Have had them out to different houses 5 times now. The office has been professional, the guys have shown up on time or have called ahead of time if they had a problem and gotten another team on over. The guys on site aren’t toting cigarettes or cell phones on my property, which means they all have Two Hands available to work. They also aren’t having to pull up their pants as they work, so they have hands available to work. They clean up after they’re done. And the men know what they are doing.

The entire area for blocks lost power for hours. When power was restored we had lights flickering. Power loss did take out several lights. called Smith Electric, Mike and Adam were awesome. They checked everything and determined it may be an Alabama Power problem. Called them as sure enough there was a burnt wire on the power pole. Will use them for all our future needs.

I used smith electric services on 8/19/2024 I was told when I called and requested their services to hang two chandeliers they charge $100.00 per hour Tommy and Tyrone with smith electric came to my home at 7:30am completed the job at 9:30am when I looked at the invoice I saw they said they came to my home at 7:00am when I called smith electric to let them know there is a discrepancy with the invoice the manager apologized and corrected the invoice, I will definitely be using their services again. I had a 200 amp breaker go out on my trailer. First I called Hansen electric and they sent a kid out to give me an estimate. He quoted me a price of $2700-$2800 said he would have to replace the pole and everything. I graduated with a degree in industrial electricity back in 1988, so I knew all I needed was a breaker. So I called Smith electric, talked to Mr. Smith ( dont remember his first name) he asked me to send him a picture of the breaker and he would have Kevin one of his employees call me back, one hour later he calls and said the breaker was so old he didnt know if he could get it. So he would change the whole box. I know this has been a long review, but after everything the bill was $435 a savings of $2300. Thanks Smith electric for being an honest, upright business.

On time, fast, efficient, polite. After power was restored post-hurricane Zeta, the dryer wouldn’t come on. We tested the outlet and knew it wasn’t getting power. The guys at Smith Electric came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced an outside breaker. For less than the basic charge I was quoted by other companies. DOG FRIENDLY.

We bought an old farmhouse that needed rewired. We obtained three bids one of which was a local mom and pop type business. Smith Electric was the lowest bid. They came out a few days after we asked them to start and they finished the work ahead of schedule. Afterword there was one problem with a breaker and they came back and fixed it immediately.
