What an amazing group of young men! Ely and his team arrived on time each day. They were friendly, organized, neat, and professional. They were courteous and respectful by always asking to enter the home or access others parts of the property. They never assumed but always asked before doing anything. They picked up every piece of debris off the roof and in the yard, not leaving a shred of evidence that they were even on the property.Before leaving, Ely took the time to explain our next steps in the solar installation process, such as how to power the panels after the final inspection. I would work with him and his team again and again, and will definitely refer him to my family, friends, and neighbors.

Ok so for starters I am a journeyman electrician myself so I have knowledge in what I am about to speak on.I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a quality and professional electrical contractor. I moved into an apartment a month ago which the electrical should have been redone a long time ago. When I had to call APS the other day because the neutral s on the service drop were melting together we lost power. This company showed up 2 days later and did a great job replacing all 3 of the panels. I was also very impressed with the fact that another guy came to help them finish the job. When APS came to reconnect service everything was good. My thanks to T&K for a great job and you have some great guys working for you.

Step 3 of going solar. Since I was using T & K Roofing it made sense to use T & K Electric for the solar. That way project management was in the same company but different parts. They arrived in the time frame that they gave me. Installation was uneventful. The rails and panels look great. Now just waiting for SRP to finish the inspection to turn onto solar. Would highly recommend them!

T&K Electric has installed Enphase solar backup battery. Brandon Wolfe, project manager, had kept me up to date on all necessary permits and installation. Excellent communicationHis installers, Shadrach and Angel were exceptional workers. Often spending 10 to 12 hours days for installation.Both Shadrach and Angel were thorough, attention to detail, and conscientious, their commitment to work was exceptional.Shadrach who wired the main electrical panel did an awesome job. He can teach a master class on how electrical wiring should be done.My only suggestion, if the project site is more than 100 miles (2 plus hours of driving one way) T&K should make accommodations for lodging/meals so that installers will be fresh for each day of work.I would recommend both installers and T&K Electric

T&K Electric installed solar panels on our house Feb 2022. After interviewing a couple other major solar installers I chose T&K for a few reasons: They are a local electric company that does their own work as opposed to a contractor. I liked the specs and quality of the panels and inverters they use and the cost was competitive. They gave me more options as well, the others had only one configuration to sell me. Im glad I went with the micro inverters. T&K really showed satisfaction in their systems. Electricians were polite and helpful. They did a very nice job and guaranteed their work and they guarantee the production of the panels.We had a rough start the first year. Had a hard time getting support for a few months when we were still getting high electric bills. I think they had some problems with support staff during that time. Tommy DO co-owner contacted us and helped us solve our problem. They have been very responsive since. The system has worked perfectly from day 1 but APS was not crediting our account correctly that first year. After contacting APS a few times they fixed it. T&K installed a power monitoring Sense device that helped us really take advantage of the solar power and optimize or power usage. Its been over two years now and I am still very happy with it. I cant say we are saving a whole lot of money with solar. While we dont pay APS anymore we are making payments on the Solar loan but it costs a little less at the end of the year, saving maybe $500-$1000 per year while we are still paying off the loan.The house is about 4000 sqft 6 bedroom with two AC units, a pool, electric oven and dryer, and terribly inefficient windows. Costing $3000-4000 per year for electricity from APS before solar. Solar loan now costs $2800/yr with no electric bill and we usually have a few hundred dollars credit from APS at the end of the year. The system is 41 panels, 15KW. T&K originally recommended a 23KW system for our house and power usage but we chose a smaller system to cut cost. It would now make more sense for us to invest in our biggest energy losses... replacing the old aluminum frame windows and upgrading some appliances.I will be calling T&K when I need any other electric Heat/AC work done, very happy with the business.

I have had my faith restored in T&K Electric.The company has been placed back in Tommy’s capable hands which is the reason I used them in the first place for my solar install. After a few conversations with Tommy, we spoke of my issues concerning my solar install that were done under previous management while Tommy was out of country. He listened, did not make excuses and he did not shy away from the issues and took full accountability. Can’t really ask for more from a person or company, very down to earth.I decided to give Tommy and T&K another chance to redeem themselves, and that is exactly what they did. They were on time, did exactly what was asked, left the site clean, and were courteous and professional. Very fair and transparent.We can all understand that no one, or no company is perfect. Some companies go through changes and sometimes it is not for the better. This company did that but decided to maintain their base and revitalize the company through Tommy’s leadership. Tommy is taking the steps to make it right with every one of his customers instead of just changing his business name and running away; very commendable. I am glad they did. I have my reliable contractor back, one which I can trust.

T&K has gone through a rapid quality upgrade from when I started my major solar system installation back in April of 2022. The Enphase system I wanted was installed but had some delays due to newer and better Enphase components being introduced; i.e. IQ8 series micro inverters and the System Controller 2. My only complaint is on the initial Q&A sessions with Brendan Carey, who, to my knowledge, no longer works there. Brenden wouldnt listen to what I was asking for pertaining to getting all of the components mounted on the garage interior and exterior wall near the front patio. The system works well now as is but has slightly less curb appeal as it is due to much of the components being mounted on the side of the house.Tommy Do, the owner, was directly involved with me and worked the issues promptly and accurately. He listened and gave advice appropriately. Hes top notch. Rachel, the project manager, was also very responsive and focused. Communications were greatly increased. Shout out to Steve; he knows his trade craft and is an impressive electrician.Overall, Id say that T&K is even better now than back in April 2022 by far and would recommend them. Just one thing to keep in mind; always have a decent amount of knowledge of your project before speaking to any installation company.

They designed and installed the solar panel system for our home and accommodated a tight timeline to complete the project.Ely Orozco led the installation team and did a great job under difficult circumstances. Ely and his team worked in the dark for at least 2 hours after sunset to finish the job and keep the timeline on track for the scheduled inspection by the city. Ely and his crew were competent, professional, and cordial.Rachel Marcano was the liaison that coordinated and scheduled the project. She not only kept us informed throughout the project but was crucial in working with the various parties involved to keep the project on time. Like the installation team, she was responsive, professional, and cordial.Shane Rynkowski, owner of White Rhino Solar, was our sales consultant who recommended T&K for the installation. Shane, like T&K, did a great job. He was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. Most impressive was his commitment to and prompt responsiveness to our requests and concerns throughout the project to keep it on time. In addition, he coordinated the financing of the project.We are very happy and grateful that we had such a good group of people with which to work. Their services were truly above and beyond. My wife and I highly recommend everyone that worked on our project.

Tommy and his crew are just fantastic! My old landlord had Tommy upgrade an electrical panel in the house I was renting so when I bought a house and needed a panel upgrade, I knew I had to call Tommy to get the job done right. He was great with communicating and answered all of my questions. His tech Eddie installed my new panel, a whole home surge protector and added an outdoor outlet so I can plug in Christmas lights and completed everything I asked for. They stuck to my quote which I appreciated and did everything in a very timely manner. My biggest thing was just how great at communicating Tommy was. He always was there to answer my questions and you can tell he really cares about his customers. I’m a repeat customer and will definitely go back to him for anything else I need done. I have used T&K Electric twice now, and I am so happy that I found them. They answer the phone when you call for information, schedule appointments quickly, and are very reliable. They charge $95 for a diagnostic visit & estimate. If you then use them that $95 is credited to the first job.Both times I’ve had service Mark and Eric were the team providing service. I was so impressed to learn that Eric was doing on-the-job training with Mark. To me, this demonstrates that T&K is willing to invest time and money to develop good people and build a strong base of skilled professionals. Love it!Mark and Eric arrived on time and completed the job in a very efficient and professional manner. They are both very knowledgeable and willing to offer me options to get the end result I want. I’m very impressed with both of them.T & K Electric is now my go-to company for all my electrical needs.

T&K installed our solar system. The sale and installation went very smoothly. Although getting the system hooked up took longer than expected as there were some office turnover. We recently had several panels that were off-line. T&K sent someone the very next day and it was fixed.What I appreciate about this business is that I always get someone on the phone who works to get a resolution to the issue. One of the owners even called me to find out how the system was working 6 months after it was installed. I value their customer service and would recommend this company.

I am extremely pleased with T&K Electrical. They upgraded my 1970s main electric panel, wired my 220 hot tub, and installed the solar panels on my flat roof exactly the way I wanted them, and everything is working perfectly. Tommy, the owner, is very responsive and honest and I could not be more pleased. All construction seemingly can take much longer than it should, but when people have their heart in the right place and it gets done correctly - that is what they are to be judged on.

UPDATE:After the original owner came back (and bought back his company) and took over things got a lot better. Not only did I get better explanations but T&K worked hard to make sure we got our solar up and run as quick as possible. And when we did hit snafus they worked to not only correct it but make sure I was kept in the loop on what was going on. We got our solar turned on this month (May 2023) and we couldnt be happier. I will leave the original review because I want people to see that there is a change in how T&K is running their business and that the owner cares about his customers. I will definitely recommend T&K as long as Tommy stays the owner.I would not recommend T & K for solar. Customer Service is nonexistent. It took threatening to keep calling the electrical side to get them to have a solar person contact me regarding our installation. That person was great however they left the company and Im now back at square one. Our solar install started August 2022. The electrical test, which was only supposed to be a couple hours but ended up over 7hrs, was finally done in November 2022. February 2023 we finally got the city to approve but it took another 3 weeks to get SRP out. We failed the final inspection because T & K didnt follow SRP guidelines. I was promised someone would be out this week ... its Friday afternoon - no one has come and then I was promised a quick call back ... no one has called back to update me on whats going on.

My husband and I called t&k to replace our electric box, and in the end we actually ended up getting solar panels installed by them (which included a new electric box). Its been about a year since the install, and the solar panels are really working well! Plus, we were able to incorporate some electrical work and insulation, to help upgrade our home. Overall, my husband and I are very happy. Only one note is that the company can sometimes be difficult to communicate with- it seems like theyre working out some office-related organization. It would also be super nice to have day-before or week-of reminders of work being done. Other than that, I am very happy with my experience and happy we had all this work done by this company.

I have very mixed feelings with them. At first, response from them to any inquiry was Lightning fast. Chase was my salesman and he did a good job. I got very good pricing (I shopped around) for an equal system. They installed my system (including replacing my roof) very quickly (I’d say within a month or signing).Then, dead silence. My loan went into effect and I had to start making payments (of which they did reimburse me for 2). I would call, text, email to get status on when the system would get connected with TEP, and I would get no real response.Bottom line I was installed on 10/10/22, but wasn’t connected until 3/14/23 (5 months later!!!!!). They still owe me for 2 reimbursements as they stated I wouldn’t have to make any payments until I was connected, but after repeated emails and sending payment evidence, nothing.On the bright side, JT just came down to check in on my system (fixed some issues with the app), and he did a great job. Very responsive, fixed all my issues, and I could only wish T&K Electric had more people like him working in other areas.Update on 5/1/23:After having this system for several months now, I’m gonna edit my review to 5 stars for a couple of reasons. JT has provided spectacular service! He’s provided me with a consumption meter at my request, and this isn’t part of their standard service. He’s been trying hard to make this right, and so far I’m very pleased. T&K needs more people like JT!

We met Tommy the last day of 2019 to fix an outlet, through the recommendation of friends. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and kind that we kept his name. We called him again for two problems: a circuit breaker and a kitchen lamp. Tommy sent Alex, who was punctual, presentable, professional, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. He fixed the lamp and found the circuit breaker had power and was ok for the time being. We were so impressed with his demeanor that we requested an estimate for the update of all outlets, lamp, and fan connections in the house and an estimate to put in a new circuit breaker. We look forward to working with Alex on these two projects, as we give him a 10 out of 10 score for excellency. Thanks to Alex and to Tommy for an impressive business.

It always happens...when you’re expecting visitors, the Air Conditioning goes out. I call T&K at 7:00 am on Wednesday morning, and explained the situation...my 75 year old mom was arriving one day later, and she couldn’t go without AC due to health issues. Tommy and Jorge came out and early the next morning I had a new unit installed. They listened, were responsive, and did a terrific job. They worked with the budget I had and were very clean, professional and quiet during their assessment and installation, which was important since my wife and I both were working from home. I’d definitely use them again!

Hired T&K to put solar panels on my house. The sales guy Brandon was great. Explained everything and always answered the phone throughout the whole process answering any questions I had. The install was very quick and they did a great job. I even met the owner of the company Tommy turns out he does all the electrical. I highly recommend this company for solar. No headaches at all and everything done as agreed upon.

I was contacted by T & K and then contracted T & K for Solar power. It has taken over 6 months to get the solar activated. They do not return calls after they get the money from the finance company, which only requires panels to be at the house. The system they installed and by contract Do Not generate what they engineered and entered into contract for. In my opinion I would strongly recommend that you Do Not Do Business with this company! In My Opinion They Are A Rip OFF!I was contacted by the original owner of T&K Electric who had sold the company prior to my solar being contracted. Tommy the owner has since taken back ownership of the company and has reached out to me. Tommy has made a commitment to fix any outstanding issues, at no cost to me and was very apologetic for the issues I have had and was good about explaining how the disconnect occurred and how he is going to do much better at staying in touch with me until any issues, if any issues found are corrected.

I called T & K after talking to two other contractors. I sure am glad I gave T & K a call. Tommy came out and gave me a quote on my project ( rewiring my house because of the aluminum wiring and my house was not grounded; I live in Arcadia and the home is very old) at a very reasonable price. Not only was the quote reasonable but Tommy even patched all the drywall himself after he was done. There was a lot of cuts in the drywall but after he patched it. It looks like my drywall was never even cut.In addition to rewiring my whole house. I also needed my panel updated as it was about 30 years old. Tommy and his crew of three guys got my house required and updated my panel and did an amazing job.Tommy also provided the city permit and coordinated with my utility and city to get the project done quick.I highly recommend T & K. They are very professional and perform high quality work without all the extra fees that big contractors charge.

Our power went out in half of our house on Sunday and when we tried to reset the circuit breakers, it didn’t resolve any issues. I work from home and my entire office had no power. I was worried that no one would be opened on Sunday and I need to sign into work by 5:30am on Monday.We found T&K on Yelp and Tommy was highly recommended. He answered my call and said one of his electricians, Pedro, would be over to help us.Pedro was hands-down incredible. He was super knowledgeable and very funny. Our issue was old wiring that wasn’t connected properly and was already starting to burn because it was coming loose. If not addressed, it could have caused a house fire which is terrifying to think about. He found the problem right away, traced it to the outlet that was causing the power to go out, and replaced it so we don’t have to worry about it going forward.We will need to replace all of our old wiring to safer/grounded wiring and will definitely be calling Tommy and Pedro to do it.Can’t recommend them enough!

After our solar system was installed, I waited 2 years to write this review. I wanted data on how this system has performed. Yes, the installation was excellent and the price was very fair. One of the main reasons I chose T&K Electric they are an electrical contractor. This is very important. If the solar industry slows down they have plenty of other work to keep them financially healthy. Over the last 2 years, several solar companies have filed for bankruptcy protection because of a lack of work. Here are my numbers after 2 years. My average electric bill dropped from $177.38 to $21.44 per month. My ROI is 15.32%, a great return with very low risk. The time to full payback is 6.5 years. My total savings after 24 months is $3,742.35. Every time there is an increase in electric rates, the amount I save goes up, my ROI goes up and my years to payback comes down. This has been one of the best investments I have made.

The kids were in bed and it was time to spend some quality time together. The Jacuzzi was running.....life was good. Then the pool decided to turn on at the same time...thats 2 motors plus a heater. Also, the pool light was on.....thats even more power. Sure enough we heard an audible popping sound and the nice evening went dark. Ooops.Sunday morning rolls around and I certainly dont want to call an electrician, given what they charge for weekends, but I had to fix this issue or the pool would start to corrode. At that point I found T&K and had a gut feeling given all the positive reviews and wanted to leave a message.Immediately Tommy answered the phone....on a Sunday. I was hesitant to schedule a meeting given extra weekend costs but he had someone in the area and was not going to charge me any extra so what the heck, right?Within 30 minutes I had one of his colleagues at my door. From there we discussed the issue, went over some options and came up with a plan. Tommy got right back to me with a very fair estimate immediately and we scheduled the job for the following Wednesday.The very first thing Wednesday morning Tommys team showed up, was very professional, friendly, cleaned up after themselves and made a difficult job look easy. By Wednesday afternoon my pool/Jacuzzi was humming again....no stress.As a side note, when they were finished with the job the extra wire they had left over could have fit in the palm of your hand.
