We have had Rick do electrical work a few times in the past and this time he came to our house to install a ceiling fan/light but his idea is to save some money and just try to purchase a new remote control and receiver. He had to go by Home Depot to rent a 14 foot ladder and bring it to our house for vaulted ceilings and changed the receiver and everything worked great. He also installed a porch light. Very punctual and responsible and would definitely call him again. Great guy!

I have spoken to Rick twice on the phone regarding my electrical issue. The first one we narrowed it down to a switch that was an easy fix. The second time I had a power outage, then only half of my house came back on. It had tripped a circuit breaker. Rick talked me through that as well. I will definitely be calling Rick again to look at my breaker box.

Rick is awesome! He has helped us with so many issues and installed multiple things for us from kitchen lights to outdoor lights and trouble shooting things for us. I highly recommend him! Very reasonable and honest!

Rick came out on the 5th of July within a few hours for an emergency electrical situation where our main breaker fried out on us. Left us with sketchy power and no AC. Because our breaker is no longer carried at the box stores, we had to wait until Monday due to the holiday weekend. Rick made sure the little bit of electricity we had went to the right places over the weekend (rewired some of our panel) and he followed up Sunday night to confirm Mondays repair. He had SRP out to cut the power, got the new main breaker installed and got everything up and running again. The cost was reasonable as well. I dont do a whole lot of reviews but wanted to take the time to do this one as we were in a bad spot and Rick and his crew got us out of it.

Ricks and his crew did an excellent job installing a main electric panel and breakers, at a very reasonable rate. Every thing was in order, parts, permits, SRP and all went very smooth. I would recommend him for all my electrical needs. Now days its hard to know if you can trust a contractor, Rick did everything he said from when he first came over and gave me an estimate.

Rick and his crew did an AMAZING job. They arrived on time, started prep immediately, explained each step in the project and completed the job UNDER budget as well as under the estimated timeframe. Rick is pleasant, knowledgeable, experienced and honest. At the time he came over to provide the bid for the work I wanted done he explained that hourly generally is the best way to go after he reviewed the necessities of the project. He then provided me the bid as flat rate and provided me the amount that he charges hourly. I accepted the hourly and was worried honestly that there would be issues causing my labor cost to increase dramatically. There were issues in my wiring, they corrected my wiring issues and installed 6 new recessed lights ❤️ At the end of the project Rick explained all charges and still came in UNDER budget by $250.00!! I couldn’t be happier with Ricks Electric. Their work, friendliness, professionalism, and honesty are unmatched in my eyes. I will definitely choose Ricks Electric again! I am now a customer for life and would HIGHLY recommend Ricks electric to anyone and everyone. Thanks Rick and crew, I can’t wait to use my new lights tonight 😊

Rick and his son, Rick, are professional, experienced and very thoughtful electricians.WORK: Rick has installed a number of new receptacles to existing circuits, helped us to bring power to wall-mounted TV and other devices, replaced switches with dimmers, and helped us to work through and correct a couple of irritating, preexisting electrical issues in our home.BEST OF ALL: Rick is extremely careful to think of ways to complete the work without damaging our interior walls and ceilings. This type of thoughtfulness has already saved us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary drywall and paint repairs.Rick arrived on-time, walked through the work, explained his approach before he made any changes, answered questions, made thoughtful suggestions, finished all the work he quoted, cleaned up the job site, and charged an extremely fair price. Rick was great!I recently bought my house in Mesa. I came home one night to find the electricity in half the house was not working even after i flipped all the circuits. My girlfriend googled for an electrician and Rick had great reviews. I called Rick around 6pm and he came over right away and got everything working quickly and at a very reasonable price. I give a very high recommendation to Rick and will continue to use him in the future.

I originally found out about Ricks Advanced Electric through a community facebook group and after reading reviews online, I decided to try them out. Within the hour that I submitted an online request for a schedule estimate, I received a call from Rick to schedule service. He took the time to answer my questions, understand our electrical issue and did not rush through our call. Within no time, service on our main electrical panel was completed. Rick was very sincere, professional, and attentive to customer needs. We will definitely use him again if another issue arises.

Rick recently installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage he had to add a 50 amp breaker to my electrical panel and run the conduit from one side of the house to the other. He did a fantastic job and I will be calling him for all my future electrical work. He also quoted me the best price and was very helpful with any questions I asked him. I highly recommend him!

To preface, my house is a nightmare amalgamation of addons build by amateurs since 1955. As a consequence, the wiring is a mess. Rick managed to figure it out though, and for that alone, bravo. Turns out it was a problem on the power companys end. I wouldve never figured it out. Im glad I didnt waste too much time on it before calling Rick, who was friendly and experienced. I also found his rates to be very, very reasonable, especially compared to what other companies would charge. Ill be calling Rick for all my future electrical needs.

Our outside outlet when bad which some how caused a chain reaction of switches and outlets to go out. Including the bathroom!! Rick took his time to come as his last stop and fix. He said it was on his way home and no problem or he would need to do in a day or so. Needless to say - there was a wire loose which kept tripping the inside stuff and was sparking and could have started a fire! I called around and everyone wanted to charge me a fortune. His price was amazing and really should have been more for being there so quick! Love him and will be using again for 2 other projects around the home. He is reliable and friendly. Knowledgeable and caring. A Veteran, Need I say more? Call him first or last....just call him.

On 4/16, I had an electrical problem that I thought was caused by a problem within my breaker box. The problem was that all the lights and outlets on the West side of mh house were not working. Rick came and withing minutes discovered it was a faulty connection with only one key outlet connections. He had the problem fixed shortly. I have complete confidence in Ricks work and gladly recommend Rick for all of your electrical work needs. He is professional and knows his stuff!

Rick is absolutely fantastic. My circuit breaker outside my house blew up as I was switching out a fuse. The whole thing caught on fire and was ruined. This was at 6pm. I saw that he was local and got good ratings so I called him hoping to get him out the next day to have a look. Well he came by 30 minutes later. He stayed for more than 2 hours to wait while SRP shut the power off to the property (to make sure the house didnt burn down). The whole thing was replaced and I had power back less than 36 hours. I would use him over anyone in the valley. Super nice guys as well.

Rick of Ricks Advanced Electric has completed a number of installations large and small for me over the last 10 years or so. He is always up for a new challenge. His prices are reasonable and he works to find ways to make your project more valuable and enjoyable. His word is as good as his handshake. Over the years, Rick and his son Ricky, have installed:- ceiling fans- WiFi light switches and outlets indoors and out- recessed LED lights- exterior light fixtures- low voltage LED landscape lighting- LED pool light fixtures- bathroom ventilation fans- a garage attic fan with RF switch- under-cabinet low voltage LED kitchen lights (love!)Rick is a problem-solver, detail-oriented and trustworthy. When I first called Rick, I asked for estimates and compared them to other electricians - and quickly learned Ricks prices were always reasonable.Ricks advice is often better than money. His experience and thoughtfulness have paid me back so many times. For example, he will often propose ways to do the install that might minimize or avoid cutting dry wall to help me to avoid wasting money, time and aggravation on expensive dry wall repairs and painting.When he completes the job, it is done right and and the area is left neat and clean.I would definitely hire Rick again. Rick used to be a great electrician and I recommended him to many people. He has done a lot of work at my house over the years but that has sadly come to an end. Theres no doubt that hes a great electrician who can do things that other guys cant. But I had him scheduled to do work at my house and told him while hes here, Id like to hang some white string lights on my pergola. A couple days before the appointment, I texted him to confirm and he tells me the lights for the pergola were $500. What?? He told me he ordered the lights, it was $500, and he cant return them. Thats when we parted ways. I never heard of white string lights that cost $500, but MORE Importantly, I think before you order something that cost $500 and CANT be returned, you should verify it with the customer. I dont know of a single tradesman who wouldnt send a picture with the price on something that costs $500. Its too bad because hes a great electrician.
