Joel is a great Electrician. He was able to trouble shoot my electrical problems and repair. One of those problems were some bathroom outlets that 2 previous electricians could not figure out. I ended up needing a new breaker box instal in my 1960s home and Joel arrived on time and worked all day. Hes very knowledgeable about his trade and has a great personality. I would recommend asking for him if you need to hire Premier. (one thing to note when calling the Premier office to inquire about an appointment - I was told there was a $79 fee for coming out, so I was ready for that. I was not told by the office that here was an additional trouble shooting fee. So make sure to ask about that.

He discovered a power line that had been accidentally cut by my previous contractor and went the extra mile by running a new wire to fix the issue. On top of that, he gave me $100 off, likely because he sympathized with the fact that the other contractor didn’t take responsibility for their mistake, which ended up costing me more money. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Vince! You’re a lifesaver in my book.

We had a problem with the pool fuse tripping at the box when it rained. This time it could not be reset. The rep arrived on time and in 30 minutes he called me out to see the problem. Rats had filled the heater box with clippings which cause a direct short. I cleared out the box and we were good to go. The service charge was very fair!

Premier Power beat all the other prices quoted, completed the upgrades to my Main and Subpanels within 4 1/2 hours, and also offered financing through a partner finance company called Wisetack. The technicians skill was great. He quickly understood the issue and fixed the problem within half an hour. 5 stars for this.However, there were some administrative things that I was unsatisfied with.1. The technician charged me $250 for parts and labor to replace a failed ballast for fluorescent fixture. Now I have no knowledge of this field, so I dont know if that is average or expensive, but the part that left me unsatisfied was that the technician couldnt give me a break down of what the costs were. He went to Home depot to buy the parts, and he said he didnt remember how much it was (he guessed it was 30-40), and didnt comment on the cost of labor per hour. It might have been just company policy; replacing ballast is 250, no matter how short or long it takes, but things like this makes me wonder if I am being taken advantage of. Whatever the reason, I wouldve appreciated a little more explanation.2. When I was making my payment, the technician said I can pay with cash, check, or credit card, so naturally I chose the most convenient method, credit card. I found out afterwards by looking on the invoice that paying with a credit card has a 3.5% service fee, which the technician failed to mention.UPDATE: a few hours after I left this rating, someone from the company called me to explain that their pricing is for set for each project. So my assumption was correct, just that there wasnt enough explanation. And for the service fee for using credit card, it turns out I wasnt charged any when I checked my bank account. It just says youll be subject to a service fee in the fine prints (it should be taken out from the fine prints if it isnt true, in my opinion). Taking this after-care into consideration, Im now very satisfied with their service overall.

Nice electrician. It was a shame that we could not get a quote ahead of his visit. We needed to replace 7 smoke alarms. The price was outrageous $175 each. Got a price brake to $120 because of the number to be changed. Still found it too high. He replaced only one. It did not take him more than 5 minutes including getting his ladder.I supplied the smoke alarm. As he only replaced one the price went up to $175My suggestion is try to get quotes for these type of jobs. ahead of sending the techs.Note. Customer service manager called me after he read my review. Very kind and explain why it’s difficult to give quotes over the phone without looking at the job. We only needed to update our old smoke alarms. We will call in the future to try to get the job done if we can agree on a more affordable rate for both parties. It fell good that they addressed our dissatisfaction as soon as they read our review.

Came up with great ideas for an outdoor outlets installation, sourced quality parts, and left the completed job clean and without debris. They do not give quotes without a technician evaluating the site since they dont have all the information needed to come up with an accurate figure. Other groups will give quotes without in person evaluation, but I think they would just as easily add cost on further evaluation, or worse cut corners to keep the cost low. Very highly recommend this group.

If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. I sent a message to Premier Power Electric at 10pm I got a text back right away asking if it was ok to call. Actual etiquette- I didn’t think that existed any more! Vince came out the next day and provided me with a reasonable quote to upgrade my breaker box from 100amps to 200 amps and rewire a couple of dedicated sockets in the house. His office did all the leg work with SCE for the permits and stayed in touch to check on the status. Once SCE gave the go ahead scheduling was easy. Vince arrived on time, was courteous about the dogs (it was a warm day and he wanted to make sure they were not shut outside too long). It turned out to be very long day for him and he cleaned up to the point where it didn’t even look like anyone had been here working. He did have to make a rather large hole in the exterior stucco something we were aware may need to be done to rewire the socket in the kitchen. He offered the name of a person if I needed someone. The next morning he called to say he had been in touch with the gentleman and I would be getting a call that day (which is actually today). I can’t remember the last time I have been so impressed with the politeness, knowledge and expertise, and professionalism of someone. This company is a keeper for electrical. I have other electrical projects that need to be completed and I’m already planning on requesting Vince at Premier Power Electric to perform the work.

Vince came to power up my pool equipment. This was a complex job as a pool company, a pool maintenance guy and 2 other electricians did not know how to complete the job.
