I am incredibly impressed with the service I received from JR Snider. I contacted them about a lack of hot water, and within just two hours, a technician arrived at the apartment building. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue as a failed hot water heater, which had been damaged by years of hard water. He explained the problem thoroughly and got to work immediately.The turnaround time was outstanding. The old water heater was drained and removed, and a brand new one was installed and fully functional within three hours. The technician did an exemplary job, working efficiently and professionally. It’s rare to find such prompt and effective service, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how quickly they resolved the issue. The JR Snider team did a phenomenal job from start to finish. My first call was after hours. Their phone service took my message, but I was contacted the same night from a member of their staff.When Abram showed up the day if my appointment, I am embarrassed to say I didnt know where my water main was. Abram was extremely patient and took the time to help me figure it out. It turns out the previous owners of my home had capped off the previous water main, and moved the main shut off. The new shut off was sealed behind an access panel and painted over it. Once that fiasco was solved, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable.JR Snider has won a dedicated customer, and I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I were so impressed with Mike’s knowledge and expertise! We’ve had presentations on water softeners before by two other companies. Mike took his time and shared his plethora of knowledge about water softeners and how our existing hard water affects everything around the house. He provided advice on how and when to service our water heater as well. He answered all our questions, which gave us reassurance that we chose the right solution and company to work with. JR Snyder is not here to oversell you, which we found very refreshing.

Very happy with J.R. Snider services. I had a toilet valve leaking that damaged the ceiling in the bathroom below. I called J.R. Snider and Shawn was here in a few hours. Shawn the technician that came was a JOY to work with. He took his time to figure things out and explained everything to be done in detail. He even advised some things didn’t need to be done. I took his advice on getting a 24 yr. old hot water heater replaced and an even older well water holding tank. I could not leave enough stars or say enough positive things about my experience with Shane Taylor. He did a thorough inspection of my house and found issues with my water tank and water heater, which he showed me and explained the impact of not addressing the issues. He saw the age of the water tank and, while it had gone out of warranty, he was able to convince the seller to cover a full replacement. He saved me several thousand dollars when it could have been just as easy to sell me a new water heater. You dont see that kind of honesty anymore or that kind of service and true interest in helping the customer. Im a grateful (and loyal) customer.

Jared provided us with outstanding professionalism throughout all phases of the work required for our homes primary and secondary water treatment unit checkout. As a side note, our water treatment system was installed by JR Snider (TLC) in February 2012, and weve been with JR Snider ever since. For the 4 January 2025 service, Jared inspected and disassembled each units moving components, checked each units system overall operations, completed/corrected each units timing sequences/each units settings, and added media (calcite/solar salt) to each unit as required. He completed an equipment checkout by running through each units operational/functional cycles ensuring proper performance and programming. Simply said, an excellent job from start to finish. Please pass our best compliments and sincerest appreciation to Jared for a job very well done!

You will not be disappointed.Review of Approx 2019....or 2020Kathy and I (Randy) hired J.R Snider to fix our Kitchen leaking kitchen sink, busted pool-house bathroom (in the wall) pipes, and install a replacement pressure tank, replacement water heater, and new filtration/pH Balancer system. We had problems with fine sediment from the well-pump. First, I have done some plumbing work and I am truly impressed with the highest quality of their work (see picture). The previous install was a big mess. Second, They completely cleaned up the big mess that someone created under the kitchen sink in the previous drain pipework that was held together by black goo. Finally, on fixing the busted pipes in the pool house bathroom, I expected to see the the sink and toilet removed and part of the outside siding torn off. Instead, all I found is one small hole in the inside and one small hole outside that needs to be patched. I was extremely pleased! I cant say enough positive about this team. They will do you right. The plumber, Mr. Taylor who drained my water heater was very experienced and addressed all the things I was worried about . Im in a new house and unsure about how everything works.Mr. Taylor was kind enough to show me how my washer and dryer work and saw that while I had coverd my outside spigot the water to it needed to be turned off. All this in addition to adding the safety features to my water heater that had concerned me when I read the manual.

This past Saturday evening, my home suddenly had no water pressure making things rather interesting!!!! I called JR Snider on Saturday evening and Holly returned my call at 8am on Sunday. Right out of the gate, Holly was sympathetic to my problem, rapidly set up an appointment, and followed up with me the day of (today). This was followed up by Mike coming to my house first thing on Monday and spending more than an hour to inspect every aspect of my system to diagnose the problem. Caveat: I had another big company that you hear about via commercials all the time come out to my house on Sunday morning. Their emergency tech spent about 3 minutes at my house, charged me $110 for the visit and told me that I needed a new Water Tank - which they couldnt even install until 3 days later. Something didnt seem right to me about that and I wanted to check with JR Snider since they had recently and so professionally installed my water filtration system. Rather than the issue being the water tank, Mike diagnosed that the issue was my well pump. He contacted Holly right away and between them, they treated me (and my issue) as a priority. Within 10 minutes of Mike leaving, Holly reached out to tell me that she could have a crew out that day to fix the pump! Between noon and 5:30PM, 5 members of the team were onsite to square everything away. The entire team was super efficient, explained to me what they were doing and walked me through everything.In todays market where customer service seems to be an afterthought, JR Snider was excellent, courteous, professional, and treated me and my problem like a real human. I cant recommend them enough!!!!

Based on the symptoms, they determined the problem to be electrical, which other technicians and electricians, never considered. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT Joe with JR Snider and JR Snider plumbing. When we moved into our house in 2020 it was awful! We had THE WORST smelling water even on cold and our iron levels were off the chart. Called another company in Front Royal that offered free water testing and said we need this, this and this and it’s going to run you over $14,000. I thought holy moly but I’ll do anything to make this go away and we almost signed the dotted line. But in a joking manner asked “how much commission do you get off this sale?”and he stated he’s only gets paid with commission. Thank god I did not sign that line and got a second opinion from JR Snider. They said I needed the SAME thing but for half the price, I ABOUT DIED! Joe came installed the units, had to run some extra lines and do some extra things with this install. I wouldn’t trade Joe or JR Snider for the world. It’s hard to find good, honest people/companies Thank God we found that with them. Thank you for everything you have done for our home!!

Josh showed up at the beginning of the scheduled time frame. He checked the shower for leaks, & of course we could not create the wetness or dripping on the water spots on the ceiling. He determined that most likely caused by cracks in the grout. He also checked out the dishwasher, & assessed that the pump which drains the water was no longer working. Not a plumbing problem, but an appliance issue. He recommended to buy a new dishwasher, since it was an older model. He charged us a diagnostic fee. He was very professional, & explained the various problems throughly. I would highly recommend Josh & his company.

He listened to my plumbing problems, and proceded to check out my system.He discovered the problem, and informed me of the actions needed to repair the sink. He looked at the drainline from the garbage disposal and knewAsap how to fix, went around the house and gave me several estimates for new faucets and a new sink/faucet in the laundryroom. I was very happy with the 2 men who came to do the work. I am unhappy however that the person who originally was supposed to come never came and the 2 men who replaced him were an hour and a half past the latest time scheduled for the service (not their fault) and I did not receive a call advising me they would be late and had to call multiple times to get an update on the service time.

Unfortunately, we have a new toilet with an issue with a plastic piece which controls the water flow on refills. A seal got loose and was not within reach or in sight, but Jared made a hook and fished around blindly, recovered the rubber seal and made another repair as we look to replace the defective part. Really appreciate Jared’s “can do” and “get ‘er done” attitude. Top notch customer service!!!

We hired J.R. Snider for whole home water treatment installation. They were very responsive over the phone and did a free water test and estimate. We also had one other water treatment company give an estimate, but their product cost much more and seemed brand focused rather than value for your money. When we went with J.R. they were able to book the appointment same week, but we picked a day the following week that worked better for us. Installation day, Joe was on time, courteous, and did great work.
