We have had Steve come by on multiple occasions, first to give a quick pass of the house we were buying due to some concerns we had and then after to fix some items, and then a third time to deal with an issue that came up. Steve and his wife Amy were very helpful and answered all questions. Steve fixed what needed to be fixed and pointed out the items that were worth considering for down the road without ever feeling like I was being threatened with a this will cause a fire if you don’t do it now mentality. Extremely responsive, and will provide a service that feels like you are a family member that they actually care about

We had our electrical panel updated by adding a interlock switch and a outside generator plug. Steve provided a professional service from start to finish. Communicated every detail of the job, Steve was timely and responsive from our first interaction with the quote to the day the job was done. We needed to use our generator a few times over the winter and it was a great piece of mind knowing that the generator was running safety as it should. Steve was absolutely phenomenal. As a first time homebuyer, it can be intimidating to trust anyone. He came out, told us exactly what we needed. He also took the time to explain everything to us. There are not many small business left out there today which is sad to see. After originally trying to contact a larger company and having to maneuver through phone menus to eventually get put in a waiting que for multiple minutes we decided to call Kennedy. It is so hard to find great people and great skills but that is what you get Kennedy Electric. I called them (family-owned business) on July 4th in the late afternoon. They answered, were very kind, and helped me even though I wasnt a current customer. I was troubleshooting a weird power problem at my house. I thought I was going to need a new 100 amp breaker but he walked me through step by step over the phone on how to troubleshoot and ultimately fix a stuck breaker. He was patient, and clearly helpful, and didnt charge me. I guarantee you any electric work in the future will go Kennedy Electric. Thank you again for helping my family out and being the kind of company I will always select first in the future.

The house lost power last night (July 3rd) at around 8pm. We were the only ones in the area so we knew it was something to do with power coming into the house or something had gone wrong with the panel. I called around trying to get someone to come and help us but as it was a long holiday weekend I wasn’t expecting to have any luck. They all said 24 hour service but Steve Kennedy was the ONLY one to return my call and promptly came out to try to help. He found the problem was power coming into the house so we needed the power company Unitil to come out. I tried calling Unitil but again couldn’t get anyone and all I got was a recording saying to call back in normal business hours. A little while later I received a voice mail from Steve’s wife saying he had called Unitil and they were on their way out to fix the problem. I am so grateful to Steve Kennedy and his wife who went above and beyond to stop us losing all our food and helping the way they did. When power goes out where we live we are “dead in the water”. No cell phone, no house phone, no internet, no water so steve coming out when he did saved us a long, hot, miserable few days without power. Can’t say enough about him..
