I had an electrical emergency at my house. A tree limb ripped the service line from my meter gang box and caused a blow out. The meter gang box needed to be replaced. This happened on one of the coldest days in January on a Friday late afternoon. I had no heat and the temp was dropping quick. I contacted Granite state Electricians. I spoke to Ray, the owner, and he was on site with an hour. Ray was super friendly and explained what I needed and he was determined to get my power back on as quickly as possible. Ray returned on Saturday morning with his crew and all the code approved parts needed to restore my electricity. Within 4 hours my power was back on! WOW! Kevin Howard came to my house and installed all new light fixtures, ceiling fans, switches and outlets efficiently, in a timely manner, and for a fair price. We have owned our house for 3 years and have had 2 experiences with Granite State Electricians. Both have been good experiences. Most recently, I placed a call after hours in the evening and the owner called me back to assure me he would have someone out the next day. If you want to skip the details below, just know these guys are awesome! Having just moved to town from the South, I needed an electrician and Granite State Electricians took care of my house. They are quick, efficient, and very knowledgeable.I have had a total of (4) house calls by these guys. The first was the original job, the second was a continuation of the first and the third and fourth were follow up calls. We had extensive work done in our house that we were remodeling. Ray came out for the follow up calls and he is fantastic. The owner, Steve, is very gracious and their customer service is top notch. I would recommend them to anyone.Tip! Have a list ready for them, because these guys work quick!

Granite State Electritions are top notch! We had multiple things that needed to get corrected in our older home. In addition we are doing a kitchen remodel. Ray was our technician and our experience was great! He was very knowledgeable and was fast, efficient and clean. He helped us tremendously and we will not go to anyone else. Every now and again one gets lucky and today I can honestly say that it was one of those times. My husband had met Ray Desroche at the Lowes parking lot. My husband approached him to ask a few questions about electrical work we wanted done.Ray was pleasant and extremely helpful in answering my husbands questions.We asked for his business card which he gave us...Last week we called him and made an appointment.Ray came early and was on time. He was exceptional in doing the electrical work we had requested which was putting a new fan in our bedroom and installed remote control unit in an existing fan. Ray is extremely skilled and is totally focused on work he is doing and works at a good pace..I would definitely recommend Ray for all of your household electrical needs. Ray works for the Granite State Electricians Commercial and Residential for quality work. Requesting Ray would be to your benefit as you will not be disappointed. Would be happy to give Ray a higher than 5 rating as I was that pleased with his performance..

I had Kevin Howard come out to fix some electrical outlets and light switches that stopped working after I foam insulation was installed. Kevin was able to fix my electrical outlets and switches quickly (one of the wires had been ripped from the outlet and he had to fish it out the wall).He also let me know that he did not encounter any foam insulation. I called the company that did the insulation and they assured me he didn’t understand the process and their job was done correctly.That company sent their expert over to confirm I had the insulation done correctly, only to find out Kevin was 100% correct that they botched the job.I am extremely thankful to Kevin for fixing my electrical issues and letting me know his honest opinion I had shoddy work done on my home by the insulation company.Going forward, Granite State Electricians will be my first and only choice for any electrical work I need done on my house. Kevin is awesome and I will be requesting him for my projects in the future.

I would highly recommend Granite State Electric. I initially was interested in a whole house generator and the honesty and integrity of this company was refreshing. They worked with me to provide accurate information and ultimately a revised solution, which turned out to be smaller (less expensive) but most appropriate for the project due to the honesty Steve brings to all jobs. The quote was competitive, comprehensive and returned in a timely fashion. Furthermore, the work was performed on time and with professionalism.Its rare to find a good business skills with good workmanship when working with contractors. Granite State brings all of this and more to the table when you hire them. We recently purchased a house in Plaistow, NH and quickly discovered a problem with some of the electric components of our pool. After stumping a number of pool and electric professionals, we reached out to Granite State Electricians to see if they could help crack the case. Steve was super quick at replying and seemed to take a genuine interest in helping us solve our problem. He immediately understood our concerns in a way that were dismissed by other vendors and he made it his mission to guide us through to a successful resolution. When we do more work on our house, Granite State Electricians will be the one we call for the job.

Granite State Electricians Plus installed a portable generator at my residence near Manchester. Steve planned and managed the installation. Chuck and Jason completed the electrical work and showed me how to operate the generator. The work was done efficiently and Chuck was able to solve an electric glitch caused by a power conditioner. This is my second time with Granite State Electricians. Would highly recommend.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and needed various light fixtures and outlets added. I heard about GSE by word-of-mouth from The Lighting Showroom. Steve and his guys were courteous, capable, and very professional. He always answers his phone, and kept in contact throughout my project. They listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions, showed up on time, finished when promised. And their work exceeded my expectations. What more could anyone ask? My house was broken into twice in 5 days. Ray came over and installed a security camera the same day it arrived because he and Jackie wanted me to be safe. It needed an extender. As soon as the security camera came Ray was right over and had it installed and the same with the extender.He spent a long time setting up the extender to the camera and did not charge me extra. They were genuinely worried for me and wouldnt leave until he thought I was safe and had everything working properly. Jackie, the person who makes the appointments made sure that both times Ray was here the same day I got my equipment. She was sincerely worried about me! And she was wonderful to speak with. I will Never use a different Electrical Company again.

I wanted to upgrade the electrical service to a property recently. I got a word-of-mouth referral to Granite State Electricians Plus. I wound up deciding to rewire the 100 year old property! I am very, very pleased with the quantity, quality, and timeliness of work that was done by GSEP. I got a great value for a very fair price. Doing business with Steve was a real good experience. His crew was great too. Steve handled everything with the city and PSNH. I recommend GSEP wholeheartedly and unequivocally.

We had a sudden electrical issue at the end of the day yesterday, found Granite State Electricians online, called and Steve answered. He said he would send one of his workers to our office w/in 30 minutes. 5 minutes had not passed and Scott was already at our office!! Scott was very thorough and efficient and solved the problem immediately! No hassle, no run around! We will definitely be using them again! In fact, they are coming to our office Monday to do more work for us. Would DEFINETLY recommend them! Very professional!!

Absolutely fantastic! I cant say enough about these folks. I was going to use another company for my kitchen remodel- and got dropped by them because the project wasnt big enough in their opinion the day before they were scheduled. Called Steve- and he worked me into their busy schedule, and was out the next day. His electrician quoted me a price- which was more than fair- in my opinion, got the supplies and completed the job that day- did not have to split it. I had them moving stove plugs, taking out my hard wired dishwasher, putting in GFIs with extra outlets- Tom the electrician, was also able to consult and suggest options when I asked for his opinion about how many and where, and refortify old old wigglley outlets.The day of my kitchen install- the microwave plug didnt line up according to the contractor- had to called them to come back, Steve just laughed and said no problem- hell send someone out in an hour.I found them on Angies list - with all positive reviews, and it was the best phone call I made.

Big storm coming this weekend and I had to get my new generator hooked up to the house before the almost certain power outages. Steve at Granite State understood my sense of urgency and applied his own to getting the interlock ordered and on site in time. Scott, the electrician Steve sent, got right to work and the installation was very professionally done. The only snag was with the design of the interlock not quite fitting my junction box, but Scott fixed that and its working now ready for whatever comes. Scott stayed through the testing by shutting down all power to the house and firing up the generator. We ran lights, stove, water pump, etc. and they worked without hesitation and minimal effort by the generator. You may find an electrician cheaper, you will certainly find them more expensive, but none more straight forward, honest or professional than these guys. Steve called to check with me on the work being done and answered all my questions. He even suggested and will install an alarm for me to let me know when city power is restored. We dont have city lights way out here to indicate that. Steve and Granite State will do all of my electrical work from now on because I trust them and I know theyll give me the best advice and service for the best price. What more could you ask for?

I highly recommend Granite State Electricians. While working on a kitchen project I ran into a problem with the wiring of a GFCI and switch combo. I contacted Steve at GSE and he responded quickly and was able and willing to help me successfully troubleshoot the problem over the phone, without a visit or fee. Granite State Electricians did an excellent job! The electricians installed a new breaker panel and special circuits with twist lock and quad outlets for my workshop, installed a GFCI breaker for an outlet in one of my bathrooms and connected the outlets in my kitchen to a GFCI outlet as well. They also converted my three-prong dryer plug to four prong and fixed an open wire in my garage. They were professional, efficient and everything works great :-)
